The new company that manages Extra Space Storage on Route 1 in Cape Neddick has done an excellent job in upgrading the experience. Storage units can be expensive and often the management simply raise their monthly because "they can". After the last price increase, I went into the office and spoke with the new manager, who immediately said that she would look into it for me. Within a day, she called me and told me that she was able to lower the cost of the two units I was renting. (When I asked the same thing to the last owner/manager, my complaint fell on deaf ears) The place is clean, safe (the front electronic gate finally works after years of on-again, off-again service), the cctv cameras aren't pointed to the ground anymore, and the current manager, Sofviea, is delightful and always pleasent. read more

We stopped by to just look at what they had to offer and ask about pricing. We just bought a home here in Moody, but won't be moving up until mid July. So we won't need the storage until then. Even though we weren't going to rent that day, the manager went out of her way to show us everything we asked to see. It's nice to know she'll be there when we are ready to rent.
