I was a little unsure and skeptical at first: 1) paying for help 2) even though they've all been certified and background checked, I'm still trusting a total stranger to help me with my kids. 3) The biggest thought in my head: Is this legit or a scam... of course with anything I always do my research and trusted the reviews I read so I wanted to make sure that I took the time to write my honest opinion, thoughts, and reviews for other parents like me. Background info on my situation: I'm a single mom with 2 little ones (4 and 5). We are Florida residents and annual pass holders. This particular trip was in March 2023 and with no other adult I can't do child swap and Disney does NOT offer any type of services or accommodations for situations like this. I reached out to this company and fairly quickly got a response back. I reserved my day even though I was still skeptical but I gave it a try and I am so glad I did!! Taylor was our helper for the day and she was amazing! Very helpful, very laid back! It was all about us and what we wanted to do. I'm not going to lie, it was a little awkward at first as I am not used to hiring help like this for 'normal' things like: pushing the stroller; helping with bathroom breaks; helping with lunch time and getting snacks for me and the kids but Taylor was great and she quickly made me feel less awkward and more comfortable. Things I liked and that stood out: 1) The extreme flexibility of start time and location to meet. I got to call the shots of the time I wanted to start my day with them, I think I might have even changed the start time last minute and that was completely fine! I'm not a morning person so I chose 11am to meet up at Hollywood Studios. Taylor was on time and that was a positive start! 2) The day before, Taylor personally contacted me through email to introduce herself and get a feel for what we wanted to accomplish during our time with her. We eventually exchanged phone numbers so we could easily communicate for the day. 3) Taylor was amazing! The kids LOVED her and wanted to ride the rides with her instead of me!!! LoL. So I got to take advantage on a couple of rides where she took the kids and I sat back and waited and got some important phone calls done. 4) Taylor captured a lot of pictures and videos of me and the kids and kindly sent them to me. Capturing 'our' moments was always on her mind and I am so grateful because as a busy mom with my hands full most of the time, I sometimes forget to capture certain moments. 5) I never felt like we were a burden and she happily helped in every way she could and not once did I ever feel like it was a burden to her or that she was annoyed or any sort of negative impression. 6) Again, the flexibility!!! I never felt rushed like she had to leave at a certain time. Our day ran longer than I was anticipating and that was no problem at all! 7) We literally got to do everything that we wanted to do!!! As annual pass holders we visit pretty frequently and I don't get to do nearly half the stuff that I want to do mostly because of the time involved of just doing simple tasks when I'm by myself with my two kids. Or I'm just too tired and exhausted lol. Kids got to ride every ride they wanted and so did I! - I did purchase genie+/lightning lane because lines were long, of course during spring break week, and it was worth it for me. It was no issue at all that we had genie+ and Taylor did not. I felt bad at first but realizing that I was paying for her services to help me out and knowing she too has an annual pass, helped me to get passed that feeling bad when she waited for us while we rode some rides. I figured maybe it was a little welcomed break for her, as well. I had a great experience with this company and with Taylor as our caregiver! I highly recommend. Everything was very easy and there was no hidden cost or fees. Side Note: I figured a tip for Taylor's services for the day was expected and appropriate but I wasn't sure how much and what is the norm for these services so or those wondering: The standard 20% is appreciated. I think there might have even been an option for 35% but I can't remember for sure. I gave her some cash and the balance I added onto my card. I hope this LONG review helps! 10/10 I would use again.. In fact, I just booked another day with them for my next trip at the end of this month (April). read more

Extra Hands is a small group of professional childcare providers who are experienced in everything Disney! Kelsey worked with us, very last minute the week of spring break, to give us a break! Sara, our caregiver, was truly a life-saver and a game changer! She knew the park like the back of her hand (from fun facts to ride times)and she got us through the Magic Kingdom by noon. She watched the baby during certain rides (yes, something we thought we would never do) and took our son through Tomorrowland while we ate lunch. Our son adored her and our baby allowed her to hold her, something our neighbors back home can't do. She saved our backs from baby carrying and gave us a really enjoyable day with our children! We were super nervous, but Extra Hands keeps their services small in order to ensure quality and it shows in their people. My bride and I had an #alldaydate while our girls Ava and Ella had the time of their lives with their personal "Mary Poppins" guide, Yuli. She works for Disney as a cast member, and on her days off offers a guide service for both whole families or kids alone. She knew everything and anything about how to make our girls day extra magical. A total must do and way more affordable than you'd think. read more

Allison was amazing!!!!! My kids are still talking about her. We booked Allison for Animal Kingdom on a Sunday, in this godawful heat. She was a damn trooper. She met up with my kids at 2:30, so that my husband and I could go to Epcot and drink around the world. My kids had so much fun with her. She was prompt to text me back when I checked in on the kids. The kids raved about her all the way back to hotel and ask if she could come babysit them on the cruise we were going to get on the next day. Extra Hands was super easy to communicate with and was able to book everything smoothly. If we are ever back in Orlando, which I'm sure we will be, we will be booking with them again. Krysta was incredible. She was so thoughtful and helpful to our 7 year old granddaughter. She far exceeded any expectation we could have had. She was so much fun, thoughtful, considerate, helpful. Just the 'best'. We are so grateful and thankful for her. She made our granddaughters trip so memorable and special. Krysta was so much fun. And helped us all along the way too. Victoria was an excellent addition to an otherwise unexpectedly stressful trip. My 14 year old son with Down syndrome, did not care for the Disney World parks/attractions. I was hesitant about using a babysitting service away from home but when I met Victoria, my hesitation turned to relief. My son was absolutely content spending the day with Victoria, so much so that I used her service on multiple days. I would absolutely recommend her and the Extra Hands company to anyone who needs a little extra help on their trip to Florida. read more

Brynne was awesome!! Our kids fell in love with her from the get go! She was so helpful at Disney!! She knew her way around and it was great to have an extra hand with the kids!! We are a family of 5 so to have an even number was huge! Plus our daughter wasn't big enough for some of the rides so she stayed with her while we rode with our boys. To have someone to stay with kids while we got food or take one to the bathroom, it was amazing! She was worth every penny and honestly made our trip a lot less stress free! We were all sad to say goodbye to her. She definitely felt like one of the family! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with little kids.
