I have always kind of had more than a few "junk drawers" and I guess I had normalized it without realizing just how much it was affecting me. I heard about Peaceful Environments from a friend who used her and even though I don't have kids, the price was so reasonable when thinking about getting all my junk organized, I thought I would give it a shot. Crystal came over and did an assessment of my house and my space and asked me some questions to help her get a better idea of what I was looking for in terms of organization and storage etc. When she came back she hit the ground running- she walked me through her plan and then I let her do her thing. I did some grocery shopping and ran errands and when I came back I honestly couldn't believe my eyes- things I had NO IDEA could be sorted out were so perfectly organized and accessible to me. My closet was a joy to open and go through for the first time in my life, my junk drawers were perfectly sorted in ways I wouldn't have thought of, and my bathroom vanity had the jumble of hair products and tools finally sorted out! I can only describe the feeling as pure, joyous relief. I didn't realize how much it was affecting me on an everyday basis. I got a phone call at 9:20 AM from one of the house cleaners saying that they were on their way and the lady I was talking to sounded stoned or drunk. I almost canceled but I really needed my house cleaned. 10:15 AM two girls show up definitely under the influence of something but again I let it slide. they were young.... They only worked on my 2200 square-foot house for two hours and 45 minutes. I was outside waiting and they both came out and said that they were done so I gave them the check and asked if they did the appliances and they said yes. As soon as I walked inside of course I started looking at things and wanting to admire my nice clean house, and I realized nothing got touched! all of the bedroom furniture in the master bedroom is dark wood and still had layers of dust on it. They did the laundry room but skipped the laundry room sink it was filthy they didn't dust anything in the living room/family room they dusted around things they didn't pick anything up and you can tell. My kitchen counters didn't even get touched. There was still food, smudges and crumbs. The kitchen literally did not get touched at all ! I was so disappointed with all of this and I was also told by the owner that they would do the appliances inside and out I remember that because I said oh good I was going to ask to have that done and she said no you don't have to. We automatically do it on the first cleaning. So, 10 minutes after the girls leave, I text the owner pictures and letting her know that I was disappointed. She said the girls felt rushed, and one of the girls had an emergency and I said OK well, I understand but they really didn't do anything! The owner called me back again, and again with excuse, after excuse, and changing stories three times ! They broke a lightbulb in the spare bedroom and threw it away without telling me they left trash behind from their lunch in my kitchen. The entire experience was unbelievable and very disappointing! I don't know how they are still in business. If the girls weren't bad enough, the owner is the worst you do not want to deal with her. She is a headache waiting to happen. Keep looking!!!!
