Bummer, I liked going here, but if I'm told that the hair I am buying is virgin and then I get it to the salon to color and it's not, I expect an exchange! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TWICE I've had problems with them. My stylist in the DC area regularly orders from here and spends lots of money ordering hair. Last year they sent a WIG instead of tracks that I ordered; this year the order I paid for somehow has gotten lost and they have not been able to tell my stylist or me where or when it should arrive. I have purchased extensions from this business on three separate occasions. It was a chanllenge getting help. While I would not describe the staff as rude, one or two had an edge. I could live with that if I thought they had good qulaity extensions for a good price. However, this was not the case. The last extension I purchased tangled and it took four months until it stopped doing this. I should have returned it since most likely, from a bad batch of hair. However, I never got around to it. Also, I have since learned that I was overcharged. If you do go there, I suggest do your homework first and know what is available, the price differences, and how much "extra" you will be charged for a machine or hand tied weft. Their hair is the best hair quality you can buy and worth the investment. I purchased their hair early last year from my stylist because they were sold out of the hair I wanted - her customer happened to have hair she did not use. I've been able to reuse this hair several times and it still looks as good as the first time I used it. I ended up purchasing zig zag hair for my mom a few months back utilizing a sales rep and she was amazing. I don't remember her name, but she was very knowledgeable about the product and extremely helpful. And the hair was just what my mom needed. I recently called back with questions about some other products I'd like to purchase and the sales rep I spoke with again was very helpful and knowledgeable even though I didn't purchase. You have to buy 4 bundles just to get a thick looking weave...soon as I seen the hair I didn't even bother to try it the lack of hair in the bundles is rediculous one bundle will give you like 3 rows of hair that's it. Sending back asap I'll stick with the ALI JULIA on Amazon 7A grade hair 3 bundles for $129 and the hair is fabulous. Never again and they can keep my 20% which is a rip off for restocking fee. You know, it is very interesting that there are so many bad reviews on this company. I bought hair a while ago from this company and at first I regretted spending the money 'cause this hair is expensive as s#!% lol. But when a year passed( I was using the same hair) i decided to go for a different hairstyle and I bought a different brand of hair that barely lasted 3 months from another company!! I was a bit upset because although it was a little bit less expensive replacing it throughout the year at the rate it was lasting I would have definitely spent more than if I had just gone to EP . I realized that extensions plus will always and forever be my first choice for hair!!!! I am not lying when I said the hair lasted a year!! it actually is still very wear-able (two years later!! wow) except because I cut the wefts a couple of times it shedded and is not as full as I would like it to be anymore. I have been using extension plus for over 10 years. I can say without a doubt that they are hands down the best source for beautiful hair for every hair type. The quality is hands down the best. In the 10 years that I have been using them, I may have had one batch that wasn't the normal 10 on a scale of 1-10. They quickly rectified the issue. I ordered the hair online so i cant comment on the customer service, but my hair came within a week and it was the best hair i ever bought. I got this hair over a year ago and I still use it. The tracks are nice and thin, the hair is super soft( the hair is just as soft as the day I got it), and the hair has minimal shedding. I ordered the zig zag wet and wavy italian. Im planning on ordering the remy and I'm excited because I know it's gonna last. I have wet this hair, blow dried it, curled it, flat ironed it, and its maintained its natural texture all this time. What I received was nothing like the hair I knew and loved. It was a tangling, matting, shedding, breaking MESS! I felt robbed. I'm not usually one to complain about a product I'll just chalk it up as a loss and move on. However, for the price you really expect this hair to live up to your expectations. I've purchased from EP several times. Each time I get the natural brown/natural wave and use approx 6 oz. I've never had any issues w/ customer service! However, recently, I have had trouble getting the hair. My hair rarely sheds. In fact, the hair that I'm currently using is 22 months old and get compliments all of the time. Granted, I don't put much heat to this, as I like the natural wave look--but it has been well worth the investment. I'm not sure why some of the other patrons have complained about customer service. I've never experienced this personally--however, I realize that this is not unfeasible (as w/ any place of business). I will continue to patronize EP as they always have good customer service. Extensions PLUS, WOW! In reading the reviews listed, I thought I clicked on another company?! I have never had any issues with EP. The company was highly referred by a friend, EP was listed in JET magazine as one of the top 3 hair companies, your rates are competitive, the hair has never shed on me and lasts a very long time. The service reps are very kind when answering the phone and I've been very lucky to deal with the same service rep- TASHA since I started over 3 years ago. It is unfortunate that many customers have encountered such unfavorable incidents, but I am here to say that I will be an EP customer for a long time. I will say, if Customers are having issues with the service received, EP must recognize it, be accountable and adjust some of their practices. Negative word of mouth can be costly and make or break a business. Being in the "service/ retail" industry, being courteous, following up on orders promptly and efficiently, being fast/fun & friendly goes a long way. I am very lucky to have TASHA assist me! Hello EP! I recently had an opportunity to take advantage of the January clearance sale. They had some Falls on clearance for a fraction of the original price. Even though I wasn't able to make contact with anyone at EP during the weekend sale, I left several messages and was contacted by Latrice on Monday. With her help I purchased my second Fall. Latrice as always was courteous, professional and patient. I stress patient because I ask a plethora of questions and may call back several times before I make an online purchase, especially an expensive one. Especially since I don't feel these new Falls are one size fits all, my first Fall was custom made. This was years ago when they first came out with the Falls. But I worked with Latrice and on her guidance I took a chance and purchased one. It has just arrived in time for a Feb 14 wedding I'm attending! Another fantastic experience with EP! And not all my experiences have been fantastic some of the staff lack the skill of providing service excellence. EVERY CUSTOMER should be treated the same irregardless of ones status, role and wallet. I'm not a celebrity however, I'm treated like one! There is one concern I have and I shared with Latrice the quality of the Relax Texture has changed, substantially. I'm not going to debate this fact because I have worn only RT for at least 10 yrs maybe more. So I know what I'm saying is factual. The sole reason I began wearing this texture was because it mimicked my unrelaxed tresses when flat ironed and blown out. Perfect example, when my hair would swell after a workout the original RT would swell right along with my hair, but now my hair swells and the RT remain relaxed, its unsightly. The hair has been altered to align more with silky relax. The original kinkiness has been tainted slightly, which is disappointing. I'm a ride or die RT client, urging you to fix this issue please. I don't have the patience or desire to shop else where for a top notch product such as yours. It is way too time consuming for my busy career and life style. I have been an EP customer for more than 10 years. This establishment came highly recommended after I had searched for a place that sold long lasting, good quality hair (meaning hair that did not tangle, shed, and could be colored as I desired). In the past few years, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of the hair, while the prices continue to get higher. This is TOTALLY unacceptable! I'm not sure if EP is under new management, or if there is a buyer who is a novice. I have advised all of my friends NOT to spend their money at EP simply because the hair is not of the same caliber. My last purchase, which was a few months ago, was suspect even before I purchased it. The hair is really unmanageable and hard. No matter how much I condition it, it feels like straw. I have never had this experience before. My stylist even commented that EP's hair is no longer the same. The frontal was $200 and was told the quality was the best, you can do anything with this kind of quality and it will last. Well It didnt last 2 weeks. I am sad to say that Extensions Plus has lost yet another loyal customer. It seems from these reviews that I am not the only one that does not feel valued by this company. I guess they have gotten too big to care about the people that have been coming to them for a long time. I have been buying from them for years - different hair textures, closures, edges, everything. I have spent thousands of my hard earned dollars with them over the last seven or eight years. I'm the type of person that buys hair all the time... These latest bundles of silly relaxed texture that I bought were terrible. The hair sheds and breaks every day and it still has not stopped. I waited a couple of weeks to see if the shedding would subside, but when it did not I sent them an email. No response. So then I called. They said I had to send them a sample of the hair to "test" it. Now just how do they go about testing it? I have no idea... So I decided to go up there with pictures of how much the hair was shedding on my bathroom counter each day and I also let them take a sample to "test". The manager ran her hands through it and said, "Well it's not shedding now." Of course not, I don't comb relaxed texture hair with my hands lady. I even brought the wide tooth comb that I use to show her. But of course she did not try the comb. She said they would get back to me in a couple days. Of course, after a week and a half, no response... So I call today and they "look me up". Only to tell me that since the hair was dyed by my stylist there is nothing they can do. Although my stylist has been dying this same type of hair for YEARS... I spent a lot of money on this hair and now it's not going to last. You would think that EP would at least offer some type of credit or something to keep a LOYAL customer happy. But no. They don't care... That's exactly what's wrong with businesses today. I've been an EP customer since 2006, and hands down, the quality of the hair can't be beat - and I've tried them all. However, their prices have skyrocketed over the years and they never have anything in stock, so I have to settle for whatever they have on hand. Also, it doesn't go as far as it did in the past; I'm getting way less for way, way more. The last purchase I made was in May, and when the associate showed me the bundles, I was dismayed by how paltry they were. I've never ordered over the phone or from their site, always in person, and I've never had issues with customer service. Every associate has given me one on one attention and been extremely patient with my indecisiveness. The hair is always light and flowy, it doesn't shed or tangle, and it lasts a year or more. I just received a recent purchase from Extensions Plus and needless to say I am totally disappointed!! I had not purchased hair from then since 2010. Back then you received 3 ounces at a fraction of the cost. What I received today was 2 ounces ( i think its less) and I paid at least $50 more per bundle. I ordered 3 packages which was suggested for a full sew in and this is not enough hair!!! It would take at least 6 packages of hair at approx $145 per bundle to complete an entire sew in!! I would NEVER purchase hair from them again. They are ripping off they customers who live out of state and purchase online its really a disadvantage because you can't see the hair before you purchase....DO NOT PURCHASE HAIR FROM EXTENSIONS PLUS.
