I am a licensed cosmetologist myself. This is an illegal establishment with unlicensed stylists. Every salon by law is supposedly to post their licenses and permits on the wall conspicuously, but upon asking about it to the stylist Rachel pulled it out from behind the counter. I asked her for a closer examination for the validity of the license she put it away and told me to get out. Bait and Switch: They advertise their service at $300, then tell you $480 once in person. The salon is located inside of a shady office building with no signage out front. read more

I had an amazing experience getting the Pura Luxe treatment with Ofer. Initially I was really nervous because I have naturally curly hair and I love my curl pattern. I didn't want the treatment to affect my curl pattern or the health of my hair. My goal was to have less frizzy hair that would allow me to use less product when styling my curly hair, and cut the dying time in half. That was exactly the results I got! He was very careful to make sure I would be happy with the result, and even told me he is being cautious and wouldn't mind if I came back for a touch up if I wanted a more drastic affect. I will definitely be back to get the same treatment ! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Never go to this "salon!" The treatment left my hair more dry, more damaged, and ruined my highlights made them turn orange. Complete waste of money. read more

My hair is damaged all around. I did the puraluxe method. I remembered when they were using the flat iron I kept seeing all this steam come out and I assumed it was normal and I wanted to say something but I trusted them because of their experience. I'm super disappointed. read more

I used Ofer twice to straighten my hair with high hopes. Both times he rushed through the entire process. This treatment has also completely ruined my hair. My scalp turned to a mess after this, dry and flaky no matter what I do. The treatment didn't even do a decent job removing frizz & curls. read more

My hair ended up super frizzy after pura lux treatment. I went back to fix the damage, and the pura lux treatment meant for managed hair made me lose so much hair that I was basically bald in the front. I asked for a refund and was only offered a portion of the price back. I realized afterwards that I'm not the only one who had damaged hair and lost hair from this "treatment." I had to see a doctor, go on medication, and take rogaine. I still can't blow dry my hair in fear that I will lose more. The quality of my hair didn't even resemble "back to normal" until after it all grew out. If you don't want to risk losing your hair, do not do this "treatment." read more

Definitely worth the price and amazing results!! I have gotten the brazillian blowout and keratin treatments in my curly hair about 15 times, and nothing works. My friend suggested I get Ofer's treatment and it is a miracle!!! My hair is perfectly straight right after the shower and I am in complete shock. I am so beyond happy and this was so worth it. Really recommend everyone to get this treatment. Also I left my computer at the salon and he called me right away to come pick it up. Even though he worked on a couple different people's treatments at once, it was worth the wait and the price !!!!! Love the results so much. picture below read more

I recommend Ofer to everyone. He is super nice and the purelux treatment that he did for me was amazing. I have naturally curly and freezy but very thin hair and I couldn't be happier with the purelux treatment. Now I can get a shower and leave the house without worrying about my hair and how I look. The best thing I ever did with the best person. read more

I don't have enough praise for Ofer and staff. They squeezed us in last minute out of desperation for my daughters tangles.. I was near chopping off her once beautiful curls before Ofer assured me he will be able to undo the damage! He was unbelievably patient and meticulous at getting out every last knot without damaging her self esteem in the process and left her hair more healthy and radiant than ever without using any damaging chemicals in the process! Grateful beyond.. highly highly recommend !! read more

If you have fine hair, avoid this procedure. While everyone was really nice, this place touts itself as "all natural" but it's far from it. You can smell the formaldehyde a mile away and it fried my hair. I've gotten the Japanese straightening, keratin and Brazilian treatments and none of them fried my hair like this did. And my hair was virgin hair, without any color or process. Very disappointing. read more

Another person in this place that understand customer service, and makes the experience even better. My wife also use there services and we keep recommending them to our friends. This guy does something magic to the hair! I tried to do the pura luxe elsewhere and it wasn't comparable. My ends are not dry or damaged (usually I need a trim after), my hair stays consistently moisturized even after a few washes, and the quality is superior! I will be coming back only here for future services of hair straightening! read more

I had heard great things about a special protein treatment that gives the same effect as a Brazilian or keratin treatment without the harsh chemicals, so I decided to give it a try! It was absolutely amazing. 100% worth the price, my hair is straight, soft, and healthy. Ofer and his employees are so kind and generous and ensure you love your hair before walking out. It's unique and truly special, and if you're thinking about a hair treatment definitely check this out! read more

I don't post reviews very often and this one is even a tad late but just wanted to say I saw Mor for the Pura Luxe treatment and I am so glad I did. My hair feels and looks healthy and I can actually do far more with it than I ever have before. Never did I smell any harsh chemicals which I am familiar with having done Brazilian and keratin treatments in the past. I will be going back to have my roots touched up in a few months. Thanks for taking care of me Mor!! read more

Ofer has done a good job for me in the past but do not let Tomer touch your hair. I was lead to believe my appointment was with Ofer but Tomer was there instead. He told me he co-developed the product so I went along with him. He wanted to charge me double ($350 for hair at chin level) what I had previously paid and I stupidly agreed. He then did a TERRIBLE job. I had had the treatment before and was pleased with it. I knew what to expect. Tomer left my hair with variable degrees of straightening so some places were stick straight and some places were wavy. It looked terrible. And where it was straight, it stuck out rather than laid flat. Plus, the texture of my hair was very rough, not soft like when Ofer did it. It then took me forever to reach Ofer and when he saw my photo, agreed that it looked crappy and told me he would meet me to fix it. Again, Tomer was waiting for me. He had nothing to offer me and told me to give it a few weeks to relax....well that never happened. I looked awful and continued to look awful for months unless I had my hair blown out. It's been months now and the texture and curl are still uneven. It looks like I straightened it in some places and permed it in others. STAY AWAY FROM TOMER who did this treatment incompetently and expect poor customer service from Ofer. read more

I recently visited (my home base is the east coast) and decided to try the pura luxe treatment. Ofer did my hair which was damaged from prior treatments and treated it with care. This is by far the best treatment I have had to date and will definitely be back in the future. I can't imagine letting anyone else treat my hair! In addition, everyone at the salon was wonderful. They had a number of folks getting their hair done while I was and ALL came out fantastic. read more

I'm so impressed with Ofer and his staff. So kind, so sweet and detailed work. Thank you.

Ofer Brami made my life a whole lot easier. I was born with straight hair. But when I was 10 years old, it became wavy & then over time it became curly. As a result, I had problems for years managing my curly, dry, frizzy hair & he solved my problem. I went through both the Japanese & Brazilian Relaxers & none of them worked on my hair. I was just spending money & getting no results. I always had to put gel, mousse or some other product in my hair to reduce the puffiness & it would leave my scalp itching. And blow drying was out of the question because it left my hair even more dry & frizzy than ever. I always hated curly hair & dreamed of having straight hair again. Thanks to Ofer Brami that dream became a reality. My hair is now straight, easy to comb, easy to manage & I absolutely love it. I would recommend TGS By Ofer Brami to anyone who is fed up with their unruly hair & looking for a change. read more

I have been going to Ofer since 2008 for color (blond), highlights and hair cuts. People always ask me who does my color and highlights because it looks so natural.
