The staff were lovely too, very knowledgeable and their was a cool and fun atmosphere in there. Not like those stuffy 'professional' hairdressers. They do in fact specialise in Afro-Caribbean hair (of which I am not the owner, although you'd be forgiven into thinking so when I've backcombed it into oblivion). They have a dedicated stylist for this kind of hair and whilst this is clearly a focus of sorts, they have a wide range of clientele so if you don't have Afro-Caribbean hair don't be put off. They are just as welcoming.

They offer the latest products and the prices are very competitive, so I don't feel like I'm being ripped off. As soon as we get home and go back to our Alberto Balsam and Boots' own brand bottles, our hair begins to resemble a burst couch. How can we get it looking salon fresh every day? NOT Tresemmé! We need to find the likes of Redken, Tigi and Kerastase. And here is a handy place, as central as poss, in the Northern Quarter with wall-to-wall salon products! It's right next door to Nexus too so you can always pop in after a lovely sandwich or some soup. Wait a minute, I'm supposed to be reviewing this place. Anyway, not only do you get hot salon brands at distinctly spicy wholesale prices, you even get gargantuan vats of highbrow moisturiser like Jergen's Naturals. Which I did. That same male attendant mumbling something while my iPod earphones are in, though, and me responding, "Sorry?" and hearing, "You have beautiful eyes"? Where do they all come from? See the response below Our processing time frame is up to 7 business days, this is clearly stated on our website information board, and we did advise to read before ordering. Your order was placed last week Thursday late after, and we would have shipped this Thursday, which is between that time frame, still you gave us below. You should not have ordered if you require it that urgently. We have cancelled your order and also removed your account from our system. So because I write a review based on my experience that I've had a few times she canceled my order. I've never come across such an unprofessional service. Highly immature that because I left a negative review she cancelled my order that they said they would ship tomorrow. I have nothing positive to write so I was writing on my true experience. I would stay clear from them and like customers say order directly from the US because for me it's about customer service. I would ot want to support someone so immature. You only see immature aggressive business owners replying back with immature responses. I wouldn't recommend and recommend ygou read the reviews and make your judgement. They need to work on customer service or stop doing business and blaming customers for their laziness. Very funny that they respond so fast to a review but are lazy with our orders. This was a huge testament to the incredibly supportive and considerate staff - especially Dominique, who really went that extra mile to make sure my hair was perfect, but I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible hair system which felt comfortable, natural and beautiful. I researched hair extensions and booked consultation with Lucinda Ellery salon Manchester, I was…read morequoted apx £500 but on consult was told 750 as 100 long extensions I paid £350 deposit and and given paperwork stating price includes style and finish for first fitting of extensions only plus shampoo conditioner and brush to take home, I had the extensions done May and it cost total of £776 so more than 750 and I got a brush but no shampoo or conditioner, on my appointment more than once I was assured it was only that expensive the first time and maintenance every few months would be far less as 're use the hair that is not lost etc etc, when I came for my appointment to take out and sort out on 4th JulyI was quoted £800 to £880. I was shocked and upset, this is huge amount of money to struggling people who don't have cash to throw around. If I was told in the first place it would be so expensive I would not of treated myself to the first huge £776 pounds for hair extensions for few months only to be changed with even bigger bill, I expected to pay a couple hundred at most every 3 or 4 months, The stylist Tom was very nice but on my first appointment I arrived in good time for my 11am appointment and was kept waiting to be seen until ten to 12. These come an a massive variety of colours and lengths and they even do half packs incase you just want a couple of tracks. Beauty supplies such as false eyelashes, and eye brow razors are available for bargain prices and they stock a lot of hard to find products imported from America such as the fabulous Creme of Nature shampoo. The staff in this shop can sometimes be slightly rude and they will make you wait for ages to be served. They are all men and obviously don't understand some of the questions - I have found myself advising people on what to buy on more than one occasion as the staff didn't have a clue. Overall this shop is great, it sells a wide range of products at a very competitive price and is centrally located in the arndale centre.
