Just horrible bathroom.
Amy L.

Fabulous place to stay if you want to experience what a crack motel might be like. Dirty sheets, floors with dog hair and grime. Cockroaches crawling on the walls and deteriorating bathroom. The service is the worst. Just don't do it!

Stained carpets

We're moving and wanted to stay here with our two dogs. Stayed in numerous hotels nationally and never encountered conditions like these. First I waited at front counter for over 5 minutes waiting for a clerk to show up. They had a phone to use to reach someone but no one answered. Called the corporate number and it was 20 questions just trying to get someone to man counter. Went to our room and found this. Carpeting was stained, couch was chewed on and torn up. We would have more pictures but couldn't get past front door. Hotel did not look like something that a company would want their people staying in. Only positive to this is front desk gave me a refund with no issues.

Previous guests belongings that were not cleaned before my booking !!!!

They eventually gave me a refund after I had to jump through many many hoops !! I still would not recommend to stay here

Down right one of the worst hotels I've ever been to and this is in Brea... avoid at all costs if you do not want bed bug bites.

Great fresh homemade omelettes, pancakes, French toast, fresh fruit, potato's, donuts, danishes, toast. While the lobby and lower bathrooms, restaurants have all been updated, the personal rooms are certainly outdated. I spent a month here a couple years ago. And enjoyed it. Rooms smell stale, occasional stains on furniture, carpet, toilet seats have etching on them. Rusty vents, noisy a/c. This place needs a serious remodel but we do love it. Happy Hour is great here with bar staff that are terrific. Waiter Sam is quite cranky and short when answering phone or asking him a question. Desk staff was stellar. Devin stands out to me. Breakfast is always great, top notch. Parking is like $20 day unless you are Diamond Member etc.

Let me state that I have been staying at this property at least 15-20 a year since 2014. I stay in…read morea Hilton Hotel all across the United States at least once a week. So, my experience with Hilton and this property is vast. This property a few years ago did go through an upgrade to the front entrance, lobby, front desk area, and the main dining area that is beyond the lobby. The remodel or update though done a few years back is excellent. It is very inviting and exactly what you would expect from a Hilton Embassy Suites property. Devin and the front desk team are exceptional! Prompt, professional, and very customer service oriented. Beyond those two notable items in which this property shines, it falls off a steep cliff after that! The rooms are dated. They are dingy. They are marked up, beat up and rusted in various parts of the rooms (or at least the ones I have stayed in). Some of the rooms have drawers that do not close so they are open. Some of the phones do not work int he rooms. Lamp fixtures are crooked because they are old and just beat up. There are stains on sofa's, walls, counter tops, etc. In the shower, there are yellow rust stains and cracks throughout. Toilet paper simply doesn't stay on the bar so it's often rolling off and onto the floor. Housekeeping is lack luster. Trying to get a room that has the adequate towels, wash clothes, coffee, etc. is almost comical at this point. The parking garage which they now charge for is consistent with other Hilton properties, but the issue is it's old. I am not sure who owns the garage as the salon next door uses it as well. The spaces are narrow. Trash builds up in the cans. Lots of areas taped off. Some cracks and pipes that have either leaked or previously caused damage. While it is a park at your own risk, I would expect Hilton to have these issues fixed to be a better space for their guests who do need to park there. The property is in a great location for restaurants, nightlife, shopping etc. It's just gotten to the point that Hilton needs to overhaul the rooms and garage at this point. Staying at a Hampton Inn these days, trumps this property and that is just sad.

The staff are all lovely and this time I even checked out happy hour at the bar. Shoutout to Ethan my bartender and the chef who took great care of me (loved the wings with spicy peach sauce!). The hotel was very nice, with a welcoming lobby and an easy, smooth check-in process. Our room was clean, spacious, and well laid out. It had two queen-size beds and a sofa bed, plus a separate kitchen and dining area with a TV and a separate bedroom. The extra space made it very comfortable and never felt cramped. The beds and pillows were decent and allowed for a good night's rest. Breakfast was included each morning, and the options were plentiful and tasty. The breakfast area was clean and well organized. We also took advantage of the pool for a quick swim and really enjoyed the patio area, which featured fire pits and a nice seating setup. Overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I'm in the area or visiting Disneyland.

However, it doesn't give the sense that it's on a college campus at all. Service overall here is great and they were very friendly at check-in. They were quick to tell me to make sure I did not pay for parking even though it said to in the small parking garage as that's included in the actual hotel rate. The room itself is quiet and comfortable, and I didn't notice much if any sound from others around me. I would say that the lobby and bar/dining area. Do get fairly busy in the evening and seemed pretty full at breakfast as well but that just must mean that the food and drinks are good. I personally didn't get a chance to try them but based on the traffic, I'll say it's worth go. The one downside of this location is that when you are leaving, you can't actually exit directly onto the street. You wanna get out on. You have to go out the front parking lot turn right and then pull a U-turn to get back onto the road. It's a minor inconvenience, but one that you aren't expecting the first time you leave and then just have to remember to factor in an extra few minutes if you're in a rush somewhere. Overall, I think this is a great option for staying in the area and one that I will definitely be utilizing again when travels take me back this way.

The entire facility was quiet and in a nice place, close to Anaheim's packing district and downtown Fullerton (Which I totally discovered by accident!) The rooms were very clean and well organized, and it felt very home-like. After spending a day out and about, it was nice coming "home" to a quiet place where I could just unwind after a long day. I actually have never bothered to watch TV in any hotel I've ever stayed in, but I did this time. It was actually nice to be able to do that. The following morning after we arrived, we had gone to breakfast about an hour before it ended and there was variety, but I totally wish that there was a waffle making machine, I thought there was going to be one! :( Also, the Wi-Fi wasn't working, it kept disconnecting, so I had to rely on my data. When we checked out, we were also treated kindly and with happiness. With the overall experience, I recommend that you stay here. I didn't feel like I was being watched or put under a microscope, like how I've experienced at other hotels. The energy was pleasant and I believe I had seen them cleansing their space, which was awesome to see! If I'm ever back in the area, I will book here again! Many thanks to the folks at Travelodge!
