In the rather large parking lot, people were out street racing and yelling, throwing traffic cones and making a lot of unwanted noise when all we wanted to do was sleep after a long day on the road. The king suite was spacious with new furniture. There was a micro refrigerator ironing board, iron, hair dryer, a new roll of Charmin professional toilet paper and Kleenex brand tissue. There wasn't a microwave in the room but one was in the dining room area on the first floor. There was a small single serve coffee maker in room with a real coffee cup and two small drinking glasses. There was a bar area on the first floor that also offered bar food. We brought a Costco pepperoni pizza which was about 10 minutes away, so I can't comment on the food or bar service. The breakfast buffet was one of best hotel buffets that we've experienced in a super long time. The breakfast staff were on their A game keeping the area clean and restocked. The outside pool and hot tub looked so inviting! Several families were enjoying the outdoor facilities Friday night. Near the back entrance and pool area, there was a nice sized small gym to work out in. They needed to restock their sanitizing wipes because it was completely empty. I meant to let the staff know, but got tied up trying to unpack and catch a few winks before hitting the road again. We definitely will stay at this hotel again, but in an even numbered room facing the back of the hotel to hopefully mitigate any street racing and weekend noises.

We noticed it was business traveler and family friendly. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms. The public areas spotless and the front desk staff we interacted with were wonderfully friendly and nice. We noticed the manager sweeping when it was needed. Our housekeeper, Karisma, kept our room looking clean and fully stocked with amenities. Breakfast had a wide variety and was a nice perk. I would recommend staying here if you were visiting Boise.

Shower was fine, so most certainly would recommend this place. But overall this chain seems to be like Holiday Inn- overpriced- so this one is different for that regards.

The coffee tasted really watered down and weak not great if you actually need coffee to wake up in the morning. The biggest issue though was the water. The tap water left this really slippery, almost slimy feeling on your hands and skin that I could never get used to. We stayed there for 3 weeks, so it definitely wasn't a one-time thing. It actually got bad enough that I slipped getting out of the bathtub and hurt my wrist. My wrist was messed up for about 2 weeks afterward. When we mentioned it, they told us they had recently softened the water again, which explained a lot. Another thing people should know: if you prepay and end up needing to leave early, you may not get that prepaid money back. That was frustrating and something I wish we had known upfront. Not the worst place by any means, but definitely had some drawbacks especially for longer stays.

You always see someone cleaning and the customer is great. This hotel was very family oriented which I loved. The staff were always available to help with anything, always greeting us, always cleaning and working hard. This was one of the best pools that I have seen at a hotel in awhile. It's a large pool and large jacuzzi!!! So many hotels offer this amenity but they are small. This best western pool was a great size and it was always being cleaned! (Love that) they have a outdoor patio to sit on too. Our room was the perfect size!! Definitely a must if you have kids. We had the Queen suite, that has two beds and separate living room area with 2 couches. Also a door that can close and close off the living room. We do carry a BLACKLIGHT with us when going to hotels and we found nothing!! I'm telling you Best Western has been great for us this year. Very clean. Thank you Best Western!!! In my 15+ years as a business traveler with literally thousands of nights in hotels, I have never experienced an "early check in fee"... ever. They sneak on a $20 fee, without any upfront notice, and they actually tried to charge this fee twice. As soon as I brought it to the attention of the front desk clerk it was met with an "I don't need this harassment". I did manage to get one of the fees removed from my bill but only one... grifter's gotta grift I guess. Anyway, if you should decide to stay at this hotel, ask about any hidden fees at upfront and watch your bill carefully.

Aedin (hope I spelled that right) greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. I told him I was thinking of moving here and he explained what Boise is like. Curt, in the morning had a beaming smile and explained the people and general attitude of the area. Charlie and Victoria were always open and willing to help. There was one other blonde lady dressed a bit Christmas festive. Perhaps a manager? She was kind in passing and I could tell there was good communication going on with her staff. I've worked at two hotels...both Marriott and Hilton. I notice everything. They always replenished my towels. The only flaw, which was only the first night...the towels were a little stiff. Probably something in the wash or dryer. The news ones were just fine. They even let me use a broom to sweep up the litter. If I didn't already find a place to live, I'd stay again! Looks like I'm moving to the Treasure Valley! All went seamless this week: received a job and a housemate...I'm getting ready to come back and settle to live there. I'm so excited, and the memorable hotel staff were really the soft landing I needed as I came back to the hotel to rest and replenish after interviewing for jobs and houses

We stopped at three hotels in Nampa who were all sold out and or only had King beds and there were three of us traveling (my mom, brother and me). So we went further into towards Boise and as we drove I booked via the Bonvoy Marriot app. Because it was 4 am the app booked me for check in at 3 pm (rather than now). Tired and defeated from three sell out hotels, we were greeted by Jason (who I believe was the GM per the sign on the wall). He was so understanding to the app booking not allowing a 4 am check in, he gave us a half day rate to get us checked in for the remainder of the morning and gave us a warm welcome to Idaho. He was so pleasant and kind. Our room was clean, had a fridge and microwave. All amenities were stocked and in place. We had a quick and easy slumber before heading out to Chambridge for the day and attend the memorial service we drove in for. After a long and emotional day, we drove back to the hotel and were greeted by a friendly lady at the desk, and roaming the restaurant/cafe area Jason was there and quickly smiled and waved over to us. It's little kind gestures that make a difference. A friendly wave making us feel remembered and welcomed. Great job Jason!
