John Andrews had removed our present hardwood floor 4-years ago; Replacing it with 5" Hand Sculpted Solid Oak. The coordination and schedule were perfectly on target. Gustavo and his Team did a great job and were both professional & personable. The rep, Pat, showed up occasionally to ensure no issues had arisen. Very impressive. Quality of Workmanship was amazing! So nice of a job and experience that we had them return 4-years later to install the same in our kitchen. Present Job: We had requested that Gustavo, who is still with the company, return due to his wonderful job last time. Not sure what happened but another Team, Shane & Thomas arrived. I was reluctant but decided to continue with this 'other' Team. WOW! Shane and Thomas were both TOTALLY AWESOME! Again, very professional and personable. I am VERY impressed and surprised with their abilities to continue the flooring from room to room in such a seamless fashion! Again, John Andrews had proven to be an amazing company to work with. His administrative Team worked together and made this 'last minute' request happen within days! Allowing ample time for plank acclamation and as promised delivery and install timeframes. Workers spoke highly of each other, other Teams within JA and of John, the owner. Many accolades to Tony & Chris for their amazing Sales and Project Management practices and MOSTLY to Shane & Thomas, two wonderfully professional installers who represented JA with impressive workmanship, attitudes and 'can do' mindsets. THEY WERE THE GREATEST!!

We needed to swap out damaged panels and fully replace others for 70 feet of fencing, including one 4' wide single gate. The final result is a clean, professional install using the standard 4'H Aluminum Smooth Top - 3-Rail panel style, and it looks excellent. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Amanda was fantastic; she stayed in constant touch, gave clear information at every step, and kept everything wonderfully organized. She made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and effortless. Carlos was equally impressive. He came out to personally determine the action plan and immediately gave me confidence that he would personally do a great job. He's extremely knowledgeable, listened carefully to what we needed, and followed through on everything he said he would do and then some! His crew worked efficiently and produced high-quality work. There are many fence companies out there, but Summit Fence was the only one that genuinely made me feel like they understood exactly what needed to happen and had the capability and care to do it properly. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if we ever need something else. Thank you, Amanda, Carlos, and the whole crew for a job well done.

Jacob was on time to the appointment, friendly, and took his time assessing our needs. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them, but unfortunately, fate had other plans. Jacob was unable to get back to me in a timely manner due to personal reasons. In the meantime, I decided to sign with another company to complete the work I need on my property. I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. While I cannot speak to the quality of their work because I did not end up hiring them, I am changing my review because I feel like the owner and Jacob reaching out despite already having lost me as a customer shows integrity and care that is lacking in many contractor businesses these days. I appreciate that they care, so it is only fair for my review to be updated to reflect that accordingly.

I was very impressed with the time he took to ensure everything was done right the first time. Highest quality workmanship I've seen in a very long time. Kudos to Cheyenne and his helper. The sales guy, Rob, knew his stuff, including my HOA's fence rules. Rob was the only fence company rep who came prepared with that knowledge. Looking at the quality of the fence, it's amazing they were about half the cost of the other companies who provided quotes. In the end, the final price was less than expected because they used fewer materials than estimated. Great business practice and kudos to the owner, Randy. I apologize for any incorrect names or spellings but my comments are 100% honest and sincere.

Given my experience already with them, I was sold. We do have a fence now, but installers left tire tracks through my front yard trying to get out of my driveway, and I'm still picking up their trash they left behind including soda cans, plastic tabs, and plastic nail holders. I've sent pics to the company, and there was not even an apology. Ray did have a crew come fix the gate that was left with a big gap. I did reply after that with pics of yard and fence gaps. Two weeks later, I was told fence gaps were normal. When I mentioned that the double gate wouldn't open, we went back and forth over 12 emails. I asked him to stop by at his convenience to check the gate. That was four days ago. I haven't heard from him since. My home is five minutes from the office. I appreciate the fence, but if I'm paying top dollar, I want a PERFECT fence. They did not provide. Did they build a fence? Yes! Did they build a highest-bid fence? No.

I initially chose FIRST FENCE after meeting with Sean, who provided a very detailed and thorough…read moreestimate -- far more comprehensive than other companies I contacted. Despite their quote being approximately 25% higher than competitors, I felt confident that the quality of workmanship would justify the price. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those expectations. The crew installed approximately 100 defective pickets along with several problematic posts. I was told their installers had significantly more experience than those at other companies, which made it all the more frustrating that such obvious defects weren't caught and avoided during installation. While they did return to replace the posts, I was left wondering why those materials were used in the first place. To make matters worse, a 6x6 post was also questioned -- some professionals claimed it was acceptable, others said it was clearly defective. FIRST FENCE did eventually replace it, but not without multiple visits and conversations. While the fence does look good now, the process was far more stressful than it should have been. One of the main reasons I hired a premium company like FIRST FENCE was to avoid the headache of micromanaging a project. Unfortunately, I ended up doing just that. EDIT: Less than a year since install and already having gate failure in a low traffic area. The company is trying to charge $300 to repair the fence. apparently a gate used 2x weekly is too much and the gate is for just looking at and not using.
