I got both earlobes pierced and I'm very happy with the outcome. This was my first piercing and I was expecting the jewelry to be cheaper, but I was okay with the price after seeing the care/professionalism that was put into my treatment and jewelry material choice. Jamie was super personable and worked well with me as a first timer. We enjoyed talking about Harry Potter through my appointment! It's been 12 hours and my ears feel great and look perfectly fine. I'm overall very happy with my experience and recommend Jamie to everyone looking for a piercing whether you're a first timer or experienced. I went here awhile ago but honestly had to share as I see this place has 5 stars still? the guy who did my tattoo was not very nice he seemed like he was in a rush. now that my tattoo has healed it's uneven I got 2002 on my foot its super small and was charged $70. I understand having a minimum but when I was rushed & told after the fact there was a minimum & he wouldn't work with me to do additional detail after he finished my original ideal. it was sloppy rushed over priced and a bad experience I'll never bring my friends back here with me or recommend this place to anyone! read more

I came here to get my first tattoo ever. I got a black outline tattoo on my wrist by Cory. He is a super friendly, hilarious guy. I was super nervous. He was understanding and told me that I could let him know if I needed a break. I only took one, and my tattoo took a way shorter time than I expected yet it still looks fantastic. Cory also did my best friend's tattoo. We just stopped into the shop toward the end of their hours, yet he stayed to do the tattoo for her. I thought that was super cool of him. The shop has a neat atmosphere. Lots of work from local artists on the wall. Lots of cool body jewelry to look at. Love this place! read more

The shop is very clean, and he runs his needles soft so it didn't hurt at all. Having said that, I would definitely recommend him for any first timers who might be nervous about getting tattooed. He showed us the needles coming right out of the packaging and showed us as he disposed of them after. He also ripped up our custom tattoo designs to ensure that no one else would be getting our tattoos. He went over aftercare with us and said he would do free touch-ups if needed within the next month. Unfortunately, he quoted us $85 and $125 respectively. When we arrived for our appointments he said it would be $200 and $250. Since this was more than twice what we were expecting we had not saved up that amount of money. Ultimately, he ended up doing our tattoos for $320. If there had not been such a discrepancy in the quote and the intended actual price I would give him 5 stars. read more

Exquisite is the first & only place that I recommend for piercings in the Bloomington-Normal, and Champaign-Urbana areas (or anywhere really). In terms of scheduling, Jamie is incredibly accommodating - but her shop is super popular so everyone's experience will be better if you make an appointment ahead of time. That being said, the experience is enjoyable and not at all rushed! Her standard of cleanliness is the highest possible, and she is committed to maintaining a sterile field and clean jewelry throughout the piercing process. Her jewelry collection is comprised of adorable, edgy, and ultimately sexy pieces! The metal used in the jewelry is perfect for people with sensitivity. I have had a belly button piercing, and a double ear piercing while my sisters got a nose piercing and a standard ear piercing. None of us have had any sort of reaction to the metal, or any problems in healing or aftercare. In addition to the flawless piercing process itself, the shop's aesthetic is amazing and the conversation with Jamie is the best I've had in a long time. Cory gave me my first tattoo last week. He talked about breathing, and had me drop by the coffee shop next door for a smoothie to level my blood sugar. He had gone through the entire process of making sure everything was clean and sterile, showing me every step before we started until the very end. He explicitly showed needles and ink were one-use, and disposed of properly when we got done. He did an excellent job. I would recommend his work to anyone. My cousin came in with us, and he was incredibly patient - making absolutely sure the tattoo was placed properly for her, even though it was small... and it took her a while to settle on the final placement. Rates were fair, and everyone was pleasant to be around. My wife had her nose pierced (with a doctor firend nearby) and was impressed with the lengths they went to ensure a sterile environment.
