Every time I go, I feel like I'm talking to very qualified folks that know a LOT about plants and landscaping. I always get good advice about how to get the most out of my plants. And while Home Depot is good for basics, they have a nice range of interesting plants that are very well cared for and will probably be healthier when planted. Low: I can't decide if they want to be a real Garden Center or just figured, "hey, we've got a bunch of plants and nothing better to do, so why not?" Its amazing that they have really high quality plants, knowledgeable staff, but look more like a plant stand that a true "Garden Center". Overall: I wish they would commit a little more to being a full-service Garden Center. In the last 12 months, I've put in a small fountain, a patio tree and a number of shrubs that I had to buy elsewhere. I would have been happy to purchase from them, but I need more than just a random selection to choose from. And I didn't go to Home Depot either (they're too cheap and poor quality when it comes to getting the larger landscaping things). Instead I had to drive to Apenberry's in College Park. Unless Justin can step up a little more, I will likely have no choice but to keep passing him on my way to College Park.

There really isn't much to see here, and it is a seasonal shop that is all outside, at the end of the colonial promenade shopping center. The Good: Lots to see:There is a nice variety of plants here, including large leafy plants that are essential for any walkway and nice simple ferns. Cheap Prices: Since this place is seasonal, they tend to sell things a lot cheaper then their competitors, just because, very literally, everything must go!! The Bad: Where is it?: This place is at the dead end of the Colonial Promenade shopping center. There are about 5 vacant store spaces (one being the size of a grocery store itself) before you reach the little plant stand that is the JSLC Plant center Overall 6.7/10
