I cannot recommend Shawny at Exquisite Aesthetics enough. After a traumatic, botched surgery, my areola color did not return and it completely affected my confidence. I felt devastated and uncomfortable in my own body, and I honestly didn't know if I would ever feel "normal" again. Shawny did my areola tattooing and I genuinely can't put into words how much this has helped me. She was compassionate, patient, and professional from start to finish. She explained everything thoroughly, made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process, and created such a safe, calming environment. She is a SWEETIE! The results look so natural. She truly restored a part of me that I thought I had lost. Thanks to Shawny, I finally feel like myself again, and I have my confidence back. I'm also so impressed by her work that I will absolutely be returning to her for scar camouflage from previous surgeries. If you're considering paramedical tattooing, areola restoration, or scar camouflage, don't hesitate. Shawny is incredibly talented and has a true gift! Thank you Shawny!!! read more

This picture doesn't show the individual hair strokes. I had a prior tattoo and Ava helped reshape my brows to have the arch I wanted. She actually did a perfect job which I kinda messed with by asking to add another (just 1) hair stroke... yes, she did it hair by hair and it looks great!!!! I will update this with my progress. Ava was so patient with my pickiness and. Very low pain tolerance. I have already called several girlfriends and recom read more

Shawny is a true professional with a talented passion for permanent beauty! The quality of her training is supreme, as you can see by the work of her students. Shawny takes the time to carefully provide her students with direct support and feedback. The training is easy to understand and Shawny is with you each step of the way. When it comes to scars and stretchmarks, it takes patience and trusting the process. Unfortunately, skin doesn't necessarily change overnight. People think one session can instantly solve their scar problems but the reality is, this service may require multiple sessions and it may look worse before it gets better. Exquisite Aesthetics is truly a magical place! read more

My skin was never an issue until the last couple of years; and since I started breaking out (acne, rashey-scaly dry skin) I have tried out so many different techniques and salons in the local area (I even drove up to Simi Valley once because the esthetician swore she could help me with my skin problems!)... Nope. It wasn't until I found out about Exquisite Aesthetics, and I will never go anywhere else! My first visit with Shawny, I had the hydra facial; let me tell you... My skin was GLOWING for weeks afterward! Not only did Shawny work magic on my face, she took the time to educate me on things I should include in my skin care routine at home... even provided me with free samples of the product(s) that she used during the appointment as well as other complementary products. Seriously.... THE BEST! Most recently, I booked an appointment for my face and Shawny recommended a chemical peel. (My skin was more dry than ever and I had terrible acne all along my jawline, chin and nose). I don't know which service is better (they were both AMAZING) but I trust Shawny's expertise more than anyone when it comes to the health of my skin. (My friends noticed a difference in my skin and I didn't even tell them I recently had this done). I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone I know; the prices can't be beat for the quality of treatment that you will receive from Exquisite Aesthetics... And Shawny is hands down the GOAT. (Greatest of All Time :) ). read more

Where do I start....a few years ago my eyebrows started thinning at the ends. They looked horrible. I'm not a big makeup person. But brows are super important! I turned to Exquisite for some help. I've seen some HORRIBLE micro blading work from others and wasn't sure how to move through this industry to select the right person. But Ava...is theeee BEST!! Will you need touch ups - yes. But I only do mine every year and a half. They don't look faded and like a cheap tattoo hack job. Schedule a consultation and take the leap!! Soooo worth it. read more

Let me start off by saying that this was one of the best trainings I have ever attended! Shawny is so extraordinary passionate about her work and it shows. If you have been thinking of learning this skill look no further because you just found a goldmine! After my training I left there feeling so confident and had everything I need to get to work. The best part of this experience is that you have lifetime access to Shawny and shall I say anytime I have a question she texts back faster then my children. Lol I'm so happy to have found her and super excited to be able to help people feel more confident in there skin. Shawny your passion for your work, student and clients is unmeasurable. Thank you! Shawny is incredible. She has changed my life and improved my self confidence. Thank you for everything you do

Shawny is a phenomenal teacher! I recently took her scars and stretch mark camouflage course. The content and materials she provided was very thorough and extensive. Even though she provides lifetime support to her students, at the end of my training I felt like I had enough material to comfortably start out in the Paramedical Tattoo artistry field. I highly recommend her training class! read more

Just got stretch mark camo and areola scar camo done and omg I am so happy I did it. The only downside is that I didn't do it sooner. Shawny is amazing, talented and so fun to be around! I recently used their services for microbladding and nipple 3D tattooing and I have to say that I am so pleased with the results. Ava and Shawny are a great team, super professionals. I actually had microbladding before at another place and the experience was Horrible. Ava was able to fix the previous worked done and did a fantastic job with my eyebrows. I loved them. I highly recommend this place and the best thing is that is owned by women, so I love to support my fellow sisters!!! Keep up the good work!!! Love love love this place !!! read more

Shawny is an Eyebrow Fairy! I have Asymmetrical brows that are turning grey with minds of their own and in 2 hours time ... she turned them into beautiful twins! As they should be! I can't begin to tell you how nice it is to NOT have to draw them on every morning to only have them melt off during yoga. Her brows are works of art and her body work is pretty impressive too! Shawny treats women and men that have gone through mastectomys to recreate their aerolas ! Her studio is super cute and there is plenty of parking in the building. Five stars for Exquisite Aesthetics XX read more

I wish I had met Shawny earlier because the brows she gave me were beyond what I could achieve with growth serums, make-up and even she surpassed my expectations of micro-blading! She is skilled and savvy; knows how to get the best possible eyebrows for each person. She is a perfectionist -- which is a major plus when someone is working on your face -- and ensured that my brows were perfect. Besides that, she's super sweet and makes the whole microblading experience fun and enjoyable. If there were 6 stars, I would rate her that. read more

I researched various scar camouflage services online and was impressed with the detailed work shown on Exquisite Aesthetics LLC Website. When I arrived, the woman highlighted on the site was not who preformed the treatment. Instead it was Ava De La Torre. My arm surgical scars are now horrific. I have gone to 3 other scar camouflage treatment centers who told be they would now all to charge me over $2500 to reverse the work done, let alone begin a camouflage procedure. I cant not describe how mismatched the color is, how poor the work was done and how overall mortifying it turned out. Scars are very personal as it is and to have made them so much worse with a bait and switch technician is reprehensible. read more

I recently had the ink-less stretch mark repair treatment with Shawny, and she did an amazing job. Shawny is the best !! She did my brows and they're bomb. She's a sweetheart too! Highly recommend for brows or any other service she offers

Amazing service! Shawny is a perfectionist and works to make her customers happy, check her instagram to see examples of all of the types of work she does. The first service I had done with Shawny was areola tattoing and ladies, you should know that she has such a huge heart for breast cancer patients and survivors! She offers discounted areola work for them. I was so impressed by her work that when it was time to have my eyebrows redone I went back despite the fact that it is an hour drive for me to get there. Her studio is beautiful and she makes you, as the customer, feel completely comfortable and relaxed. I will be returning again to have her do my lips and for scar coverage, she is that good!! read more

Shawny is a master! After a double mastectomy and reconstruction thanks to breast cancer, I was feeling pretty sad about myself. My plastic surgeon did my nipple surgery, but the nipples did not look good or real. I found Shawny through a breast cancer support page and I am so glad I did. She re-tattooed my nipples to make them look three-dimensional and REAL! She's incredible! She also camouflaged some scars around my nipples. I feel so much better thanks to her! I cannot recommend her enough - MIRACLE WORKER! Her studio is clean and hip and right down the street from the beach. She is warm and friendly. I just love her and I'm forever grateful! read more

I LOVE my new brows!!!!!! Shawny was very professional and the sweetest girl ever. I love how she's on time which had me stress free the entire time due to parking , you know how down town Sacramento can be. Shawny is a perfectionist and will not be satisfied until she AND you are! But remember "Brows are sisters not twins!" She did her best to make sure I was comfortable and tried her best to make sure I was pain free for the micro blading sessions. Shawny even checked up on me 3 days later to see how my brows were healing! I would recommend going to her for micro blading! I can now sing " I woke up like this" I LOVE THEM!!!! read more

I have been dealing with waking up every morning and having to fill in my eyebrows before I went anywhere for many years now. I heard about micro blading and I thought I might give it a try. I am so happy I did! My eyebrows look fantastic and I don't have to do anything to them anymore. They look very natural and it looks like my real hair. The healing process was a breeze. Shawny was amazing! She was very detailed and super sweet. She traveled all the way up to Sacramento for me and my friend from LA and was very flexible with our schedules. Shawny is THE FUCKING BEST PERSON IN PMU, EVER!!! Literally, no lie. Had my scar revision done and the results are INCREDIBLE. I can actually wear shorts and not feel awkward about my scars!! She also did my eyebrows AND trained me after I was so happy with my results. I knew I had to train with the best in pmu to be even close to the master of talent like she is! She's seriously the most sweetest, most caring person in this entire world. She cares so much, I can text her 2 years later if I have a question, and she'll respond to me. Shawny is so sweet, you'll walk out of your appointment or training with a new best friend. Would HIGHLY recommend her to ANYONE who wants training or any kind of pmu! read more

I always wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed but I thought it was too expensive. I decided to take the plunge a couple months ago and let's just say, it was so worth it! My only regret is I didn't do it sooner. I was pretty nervous about the pain but it wasn't bad at all. By the time I was ready for my touch up I didn't really need it, my eyebrows didn't fade but I still got the touch up. I love it that I no longer have to fill in my eyebrows. Shawny is so talented and super sweet. She made me feel comfortable and if she thought I was in pain she stopped to see if I was fine, which I was! If you're wondering, the pain is probably around a 3 on a scale from 1-10. Bottom line, it's worth it but you need to see someone very skilled! Shawny is definitely the best in Sacramento. My friend drove all the way from Merced to get her brows down at exquisite aesthetics and she also loves her results. read more

Shawny is an experienced professional who knows what she is doing. I am Shawny's client for many years now and she has significantly improved the appearance and texture of the scar on my forearm. She is patient and does a great job at a reasonable price. She is flexible and is willing to work with her clients to deliver results. Shawny is the sweetest, most sincere professional I have yet to come across. I got the ombre with the microshading, which is something I've needed for some time now. She walked me through everything step by step without missing a beat. The office was a nice, cute little space, very clean and nothing but good vibes all around. She is amazing at what she does, and I would definitely continue to recommend her to anybody and EVERYBODY I come across! I can't wait to see her again next weekend for my touch-up. read more

I accidentally ran into Exquisite aesthetics's page on Instagram when I was searching for micro blading service. I later found out Shawny also does medical tattoo , a treatment that uses tattoo inks to cover up scars. A little story about me, I was left with a facial scar thats red and raised hypertrophically after a surgical incident happened in 2017. I eventually gave up and decided just to tape over it after numerous laser attempts to remove it. I didn't have too much expectation going in just because my past unpleasant experiences and the mindset that my scar would never get better. However, result really speakers over my assumptions. My scar is surprising so much better after only 1 treatment ( at least 3 needed) compared to any other treatments I have done. I ll link my pictures below and you will be the judge. This has tremendously boosted my confidence and maybe even changed my life. I ll keep this post updated after treatment and record the dates and progress for anybody whose untested in similar procedures. read more

I am a very picky customer when it comes to my face, I am sure everyone says that but I really am to the point where when I am getting Something new done to my body, my husband says "oh god let's hope this time you love it". So when it comes to my eyebrows I had to really research and get the best person to trust with it. I started researching on the web and I kept seeing people with fishing net or beaded looking eyebrows. I wanted to have a natural looking eyebrows. Then finally I came across Exquisite Aesthetics, oh my god, when I saw Shawny's work, the first picture I looked at, I said "this is it". You know how you get a light bulb above your head, that was the moment like. I called her and she called me right back. She answered all my questions and we booked the appointment. She was so fast responder, I really did not expect this vip level treatment. I got to my appointment, she was so through, detail oriented, very careful and caring of all my needs. I will tell you 100% to go to Shawny. She is the beast out there, I know because of my reaserch and experience. Here is my picture to show you how amazing read more
