They even sell locally made items and little crafts like earrings, which gives the place a nice community feel. Now, let's talk about the cinnamon roll cheesecake because THAT deserves its own paragraph. It was phenomenal. Seriously, one of the best desserts I've had in a very long time. The key lime cheesecake was also delicious, with the perfect balance of tart and sweet. I tried the brown butter chocolate chip cookies and molasses cookies too, and both were moist, flavorful, and tasted homemade. My caramel latte was fantastic. You could actually taste the espresso! I hate when a latte tastes like a cup of warm milk with a rumor of coffee in it. This one had plenty of coffee flavor while still being creamy and delicious. I also grabbed a sandwich to try later. I haven't eaten it yet, but if it's anything like the sandwiches at Pesto's, I'm pretty confident I'm going to be happy. The service was excellent. Everything came out quickly, and the woman helping me was incredibly friendly. She even took the time to tell me how Café Brulee got its start. It was all I could do to finish half of it. my family is originally from the Detroit area where they have some of the best delis and I can confidently say that Omega would fit right in.
