Otter Basketball camps are unique and distinguishable from all other basketball camps due to their intensity and fundamental skills approach. If you want no nonsense, choose Otter. My daughter thinks she is a special player, but the Otter camps humble her in ways that force her to truly evaluate her game. We are on our third Otter camp now, and each time she comes out of the camps a better player with a stronger work ethic. These camps will challenge your young player in ways that will only make them more successful on and off the court. As for the feedback from the Otter team, they are nothing but completely honest in their evaluations and as a paying parent that is what I want--not sugar coated nonsense.

The camp advertised high school grades 9th - 12th for $160. My husband attended and said that there was lots of elementary kids in attendance. My son did not want to stay at the camp because of all of the small kids that attended. My husband made him stay at the camp. I contacted Christy at Otter basketball after the camp to complain about the small kids that was in attendance and advised her that I also registered for April 10th 2022 Explosive Guard Camp for $160 and wanted to make sure high school kids would be attending. Christy said that she did not have her book with her at that time. On April 10, 2022 my son attended the camp and called me and said that the kids are elementary size kids again and that they can't even make a basketball from the free throw line because it is too far back for them. They had to be near the basketball to make a basketball. My son also said the kids could barely move the ball around and it took a long time to go over each drill because they are so young. My son said he feel embarrassed and did not want to stay and train with the young kids. I had also previously registered for the Shooting Camp on April 30th 2022 that was $160 and the Point Guard Elite Camp that is suppose to go from July 5-8th 2022 that I put a $200 deposit. I am very upset that Christy would advertise that any part of these camps are for high schoolers. These camps are for elementary only. They take any age that pay the money.

A very inexpensive way to spend a few hours!

I had never been to Orion before, but figured virtual reality, axe throwing, and laser tag would be a safe bet to entertain a bunch of teens -- and it absolutely was. The cost was reasonable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and they kept a great flow between activities without making us feel rushed. My kids and their friends had an absolute blast. It's very cozy and she even has a great selections of teas to drink! It's $12 just for a drop in. Elicia is very spunky. Loved her! She makes you feel at ease. We went to the MCFTA web site to look up the hours and menu and the site had the hours: 4:30 to 8 We showed up a little after 5 and asked at the ticket office where the lounge was- the 6 people standing looking at us were like deer in headlights, one person finally told us it wasn't open.... We told them we went on the website and it showed the lounge's hours and it didn't say anything about being closed.... they said nothing. And guess what? I got home from the show and went to the web site and NOW it says it's closed til May...... We haven't been happy with the Center for awhile now. It doesn't feel like it's being run very well.

This is a wonderful nature center! It leads back to a cute little tree play area and a quiet space to look out at bird feeders. There is also a fantastic river overlook in the main space near some play space. A small shop carries a variety of nature-related and local items. Outside offers a number of trails, a nature play area, picnic tables, and the like. We quite enjoyed the trail near the pond, which also offers a story walk, in addition to being able to peer at all of the plants and critters near the pond. A very nice spot!
