Sarah is absolutely amazing! I had a bikini wax here and Sarah never double dipped which is impossible to find in this city. Sarah was fast, entertaining, hygenic and thorough. Not only did Sarah not double dip but also, anytime she stepped away from me, she rubbed hand sanitizer over her gloves. I have found my new go to place for waxing! Thank you Sarah! read more

Sarah is amazing. She is super fast, which makes is a lot less painful! I will only come to her! Online booking is a plus. She is very thorough and wants to make sure her customer is happy! read more

This is the best waxing place in the DC/VA/MD area by far. Reasonable prices, lightning fast hands, clean cute rooms and the absolute best aestheticians. I've been to all the ladies and they're all excellent. On top of it all, they are all sweet and incredibly kind. I used to live a few blocks away and have since moved, but still come in from DC proper because I refuse to go anywhere else. I love this place! read more

I've been coming here for four years and now that I'm moving I'm so sad. This is the best waxing place I've ever been to. Sarah is great, but so is everyone else too. Wish I could give them ten stars!! read more

I won't go anywhere else to get waxed. Sarah is quick but thorough and as painless as having hair ripped out can be. It's clean and the entire staff is nice. Making an appointment is easy to do online read more

The very best, Sarah is super friendly and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable at all. As pain free as you could ask for. Clean, affordable, fast, and AWESOME. Need I say that I love this place? read more

I NEVER leave reviews, but Express Waxing is so amazing I couldn't let another day pass without sharing my experiences. I've been getting Brazilian waxes for about 7 years now (in Atlanta, NYC and now DC) and this is hands down the best place I've ever been. To be clear, in the world of waxing there are "people who can wax" and then there are "estheticians". Sarah is a true esthetician. I've been going to Sarah for a few months now and it's clear she knows what's she's doing. Brazilians can be a woman's worst nightmare, but Sarah makes it as pleasant a process as it can be. Sarah seriously has lightening speed hands!! This is probably the most pain free waxing experience I've ever had because it's SO quick! Although she's fast, Sarah is extremely detailed oriented, not leaving one hair behind. I've also struggled with ingrowns forever, but with Sarah's work and suggestions they have significantly decreased over the past few months. What's even more impressive than Sarah's expertise is her and her staff's exceptional customer service. Sarah is by far one of the most personable and kind hearted people I've ever met. It's clear that customers come first in her establishment and her sweet spirit extends to everyone you meet/work with in the salon. I love Express Waxing! read more

Sarah is truly gifted. The salon also recently renovated and the physical space moved up the scale several notches. Two big thumbs up!

Can't be more satisfied! It was my first time doing Brazilian there and Sara did an amazing job. She was so quick. I was so impressed and will definitely go back again. Plus I got a 10% discount for first time there . read more

This place is Arlington's holy grail for bikini/Brazilian waxes. I used to trek out to Shobha in DuPont, but simply got tired of going all the way downtown and went here based off yelp reviews. I've been to three different women here (didn't get the names) and everyone has been extremely professional and somehow it's TOTALLY PAINLESS. Honestly, it's more painful to get your eyebrows threaded than get a wax here. The salon is very clean, organized and well-run. Don't forget to ask for the first -time discount! read more

Sarah is the fastest, most professional waxer I've seen. She truly is as great as the reviewers claim, and I heartily recommend you go see her! read more

The best waxing experience ever! Sarah is super sweet and instantly makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend!

I was able to make an appointment Sunday morning online for Sunday afternoon, at the start of beach season! The online booking was very convenient. Mimi was efficient and friendly. I hadn't had a wax in years and it was a breeze. I also had a yelp coupon which they took without question. read more

I can never go wrong with Express Waxing. They are very clean (never use the wax stick twice in the wax), thorough and FAST. Never painful, always sweet. Lin, Mimi and Sarah are adorable and sweet folks. read more

Sarah is amazing! She doesn't overcharge and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable when she is waxing you she talks to you all the way through, she is great! I highly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a good price for Brazilian waxing! This has been my go to place ever since I found it. read more

I got my brow waxing and tint there. A very good experience. I love the shape of my brow now, it looks fresh and so natural. The room is clean and sweat. Sarah is professional and she does it in a neat way. I got a discount for doing 2 and used the Yelp coupon I bought, so a very good deal, much cheaper than other places! Would recommend it to friends! read more

Love this place, been coming here about 6 months. I generally online book through Yelp, but had to cancel once and they didn't give me any grief. The ladies here are gentle, friendly, and thorough - and explain/answer any questions I have while they're doing their thing. It somehow seems less painful than other places I've been. They only take cash for tips, but it's not a huge deal. Definitely recommend! read more

Sarah is THE BEST in the DMV!!! SHE Always makes me feel comfortable and makes it less painful and she's super fast.

If you must endure the pain of a Brazilian - and I must - then this is the place to take care of you. I saw Mimi last week and she was thorough and effective. She's actually pretty funny as she did her best to distract me from the brief but strong sense of displeasure every time she had to rip the wax strip off. Ahh, the things we do in the name of beauty. Prices are great. Get the yelp deal - $5 for $10 off. read more

I'll join the chorus here... I tried Express Waxing for the first time about a week ago. Sarah was very fast and professional, and her location in Ballston couldn't be any more convenient. I highly recommend taking advantage of the Yelp deal while it lasts, you'll be happy you did! read more

The sterling reviews and a Yelp deal got me in the door, and I'm a full-on believer. Sarah was fantastic. She's extremely conscientious about hygiene, and she's a total professional who made the whole experience very comfortable. I will gladly recommend her to anyone, and I'm so happy I found someone I can trust with such a delicate job. I literally hugged her when I left. Thanks, Sarah!!! read more

Sarah was great! I had a lot of waxing done from head to toe and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. She's so friendly and she did a great job. I will definitely be going back there. Thanks Sarah!! read more

The reviews are spot on. Finally found a waxer in DC I can go to that is inexpensive, clean, thorough, and pain free. Sarah is super sweet, knowledgeable and great at what she does. Fast, as painless as you get . It is a bit hard to find (it is in the Istanbul Salon) but worth the hike to Arlington. Go! read more

Business is booming for Sarah and she has appointments every 15 minutes so I felt a little rushed in the beginning when expected to disrobe while she was in the room, I can't imagine first-timers would feel comfortable with that. The ambiance isn't nearly as calming or comfortable as a day spa but Sarah makes you feel at ease and she does the brazilian wax so well. She is quick, efficient, thorough, and understands what is going to be most painful and prepares your for it.."hold your breath." I've been to numerous aestheticians and she is by far the best and least painful I've experienced by far. Definitely recommend her! I'd give 5 stars if the environment was more soothing, professional, and not as rushed. read more

Easy online booking (I booked an appt with 2 hours notice), easy parking. Sarah is so friendly. She may not ask many questions about what exactly you're looking for, because she's a fast-paced pro, so be sure to speak up and clarify. read more

This is the best full Brazilian waxing experience I have ever had. Sarah was on-time, very nice, funny, and efficient, and I was not in any pain whatsoever, during or after. She was done in less than 15 minutes, which is a record for me, and I am a lot to deal with. Conveniently located in Ballston. And the price is great. I cannot recommend Sarah higher, simply amazing. read more

Sarah is AWESOME, as other's said she's quick, clean and makes waxing nearly painless. I highly recommend Express Wax!

Sarah is absolutely amazing! She does an excellent job and is super quick! Also, she is super friendly and does everything she can to put me at ease. Definitely worth the drive from Maryland and I will definitely be going to her for life! read more

I found Express Waxing on Yelp and he reviews were great so I made an appointment and LOVE IT. Best waxing I have found in this area. Sarah is fantastic and always does a great job. Also easy to get an appointment. Definitely recommend! read more

I've gone to lots of different places in the area and around the world and this was the best bikini wax I've ever had. It was so quick. Sarah was really nice and professional. Most importantly it is super clean. They do not double dip. I also loved the convenience of making the appointment online. read more

I had been getting waxed a cheep salon in the area but had a few bed experiences so I decided to try somewhere else. I am never going to trust the waxing of my downstairs to anyone but Sara! Thanks! read more

I have been previously and the woman I had (Sarah I think) was awesome. However, I went again recently and even though I booked with the same person, they gave me another woman. Although the eye brow wax was pretty good, the lip wax was terrible. She seemed like she had never done one before and missed a large portion of my lip. I would go for the eyebrow wax anytime, but not the lip. read more

I have to say, the first time I went for a wax it was a bit slow and painful. I had just moved and it made me miss my old wax place. I really don't care about everything looking perfect- I just want to get it over with! But the second time I had an appointment with Sarah and she is amazing! She is very fast and always cheerful. Between her speed and her mood, the whole thing seems to fly by. I realize that might be more my personal preference, but I suppose that goes to show there's something for everyone here- from the very detailed to the super speedy. read more

Ask for Mimi!! She is amazing and the only person I trust to wax me. Waxing is a painful process but she makes it as quick and painless as possible. She's really really sweet and talks to you throughout the process which helps you to relax and feel at ease. read more

Mimi is the best. They are very quick and do an excellent job. I am a pretty large male (6'4" 202) and Mimi got my back done in under 15 min and didn't miss a single hair! read more

The staff is friendly & very professional, It's very clean and chic. They made me feel comfortable from the time I signed in until the time I walked out. The process was quick but thorough & I'm completely satisfied. I'm glad I found Express waxing & I will be returning. read more

TL;DR: All waxers here are incredible (favorites being Sarah, Rida, Chanada). Great prices for amazing service. Go without hesitation. I recently moved to the area and was on the hunt for a good waxing salon. I have been waxing since I was in middle school (thick Indian hair, joy), so I am well aware of how waxing can quickly go very wrong. And I'm very picky. That being said - the service here is absolutely unparalleled. I have seen several ladies here, and I have yet to be disappointed. NO DOUBLE-DIPPING! Very clean tools, bed, waxer wears gloves. Nearly painless hair removal, and they are very aware of how painful waxing can be. Sarah is extremely kind, as is Rida. Something I truly admire is that these ladies are not greedy - if I have an appointment with Sarah, but she is running behind, she will ask another waxer to service me (with my permission). She does not care about losing a customer's tip - rather, she cares that I am serviced well and on-time. If you are looking for a great wax for good value, look no further. read more

This place was amazing!! I recently moved to the area and I needed to find a new place to get my eyebrows waxed. They were so accommodating and it was super quick too!! The lady who did my eyebrows understood I wanted to keep my natural shape and just clean it up and she made my eyebrows look perfect. I will definitely be returning in the future! read more

Sarah is just simply amazing! I've never written a review before but I just NEEDED to echo what everyone else said. Highly highly recommend her! read more

Excellent. Amazing. Can I give her more than 5 stars??? I have lived in NOVA for over 3 years and without any hesitation, I can say this is the best brazilian wax I have had to date in the DC/NOVA area. I am so glad Sarah has started her own business, Express Waxing. I will never go anywhere else. Sarah is friendly and very professional. It is clear Sarah does the wax correctly and she is very sanitary from start to finish. She was quick and her technique was great. It not only was the best brazilian wax I have gotten, it was the least painful wax I have had. EVER. She, unlike other well known waxing places in the area, made sure there were no stray hairs or ingrown hairs after the wax. She is very thorough and meticulous. I was really impressed at this point. There was not a stray hair, not one. When I got home there was no redness or any irritation at all! I can not express just how good she is! I highly, highly recommend Sarah at Express Waxing. You will not find a friendlier, better waxer anywhere around. read more
