It gets busy and the pumps and parking fill up at peak times but it turns over quickly so you never have to wait too long. Being so near to I-10 there are often some vagrants and panhandlers around but they have never been aggressive or scary. The staff are quick and efficient so the check-out line moves quickly. They have new Self-Checkout machines that seem to work well. The gas pumps are clean and in good working order. The pump touch screens, electronics, and pay-by-phone devices work most of the time without problems. The nicest thing about RaceTrac is the coffee! They have machines that grind on demand and so the coffee is always fresh. There are several different flavors/varieties and all are pretty good (even the decaf is decent). They used to offer seasonal flavors but the pandemic put an end to that. The store is clean and well kept. Sometimes the pump and parking areas get to be a mess when the trash cans get full. The bathrooms are better than average as convenience store restrooms go. If you go to RaceTrac regularly, download their app and sign up for the Rewards program. I have earned a ton of free swag (coffee, drinks) over the years.

I decided to go in the store. Tori was behind the counter. When I told hery issue she demanded I tell her how many gallons I want and what the exact discount is. I told her I did not know exactly but estimated the gallons and the amount of my discount. Where said, "estimates are not good enough I need the exact amount". I again said I didn't Know asked her to run the card and see how many points I had then we could figure out the discount. She just looked at me without saying a word. Kicking a customer out of your store, because they are sharing their knowledge with YOU about religion is not appropriate, especially if they have befriended you, they are 45 years your senior, they have incurable stage 4 cancer and you know they have a good heart even towards other customers.
