They've been great for us, truly…read more I think their business model is solid, if old-schoolC but it makes a lot of sense. From what I can tell, they are selective in who they encourage to use and keep using them by prioritizing keeping "their customers' '" medications in stock, reducing their wait times as much as possible, have conversations about patient health, etc. They seem to (probably informally) favor certain local prescribers who I'm assuming they maintain relationships with, and who send in prescriptions for patients on a consistent, predictable regimen. It can seem strange or even unfair for a pharmacy to seemingly give precedence to some customers and not others if you've only ever used a corporate "big box" (CVS/Walgreens) style of pharmacy. But I think most if not all the success of the typical modern "mom and pop" American pharmacy can be attributed to some version of this strategy. Their focus seems to be retention of their loyal, predictable customer base, and the network of providers/doctors they trust. Once you've built up enough longevity for them to see you as "their customer", and especially if you're someone who relies on your maintenance meds getting filled on time - you'll really be glad you have them as your pharmacy. Especially during worsening supply shortages, when a sudden mass layoff means you lose your health insurance, or the sticker price of your lifesaving medication suddenly skyrockets (and all the other crises we face as the sad reality in modern American life). Anyone relying on their meds to live and/or function will appreciate getting in with a pharmacy that has your back because (with few exceptions) CVS honestly doesn't.

I have been using this Pharmacy for over a year. i was paying 45.00 a month for one of my…read moremedications. I received a phone call from one of the techs who told me it was going up in price to 153.00 a month. That was totally beyond my budget. He then explained that there was a program that they had that could save me some money. He called me back and told me that I would be paying zero a month going forward. Pebblebrook Pharmacy is absolutely wonderful and Chin and his staff are helpful , friendly , and look for ways they can try and save people money like they did with me. I have not met the tech Harry yet but when I do I will most definitely shake his hand and thank him for all the money he saved me on my medication.

You really can't say anything negative about Walgreens. On vacation and forgot your medication?…read moreThey've got you. Need anything from sunscreen to pool toys to bathing suits? Ditto. We're here in Naples for a week - twenty of us - and nearly every family forgot *something. One quick trip to Walgreens and I found everything. Birthday cards. Q-tips. Beach hat. Swim diapers. Bandaids. Check! This store is laid out similar to my home store except for the fabulously varied sunscreen and pool accoutrements you can only find in a coastal state. You can even pick up grocery basics without a trip to a supermarket. That gets a big thumbs up from me.

As an ex employee of this company .. 10 yrs . I have never witnessed such rude customer service …read more Asked for help he tried telling me that hallmark cards are not part of Walgreens it's not their items . Hallmark has been with Walgreens forever . When I asked to show me cause I couldn't locate the Mother's Day cards because it was on a second aisle of cards he just pointed and said it was over there instead of actually helping me and guiding me to work cause I don't know where over there was if you watch the camera I was in here about 1 PM. I looked at everything before I went and got help. He just seemed like he was frustrated with what he was doing. I heard him get cause of the Photo Booth and he was frustrated with that so I don't know what else to do but my business is not gone here no more and I'm gonna take us a step higher because like I said, I retired from this company after putting 10 years in and all I know is people that used to run this type of stores would've never accepted that type of Customer Service. He's a little too cocky and arrogant be calling him a Walgreens employee.
