I went to this market to experience the meat department as I walked into the store, it seemed like…read moreit was filled with odds and ends of different things definitely does not feel like a market walking through the aisles. The shelf seemed old and product seemed sparsely and old product that's how it looks no prices on any of the cold beverages in order to ask them you have to bring the product to the counter so if you're buying a case of beer or soda, you have to bring that whole item to the counter, they will not come to you. Why not just put the prices? Items seem to be overpriced. The meat department was nice. Small offered a few things, but when asked about filet mignon, you have to call in before you buy so that they can make that cut for you. Also, some of their meat products were frozen and they were trying to weigh it out for me and I explained to them that it would weigh more than it was priced due to frozen ice on the meat so my conclusion is that I will not be returning to this market for the meat or to buy anything in the market area and just an FYI, the market is run by different people than the meat department

Oh goodness. My shopping experience at this Raley's was quite comical. All in the search of a…read moreshrimp ring. It was my first ever visit to this Raley's in the northern burbs of Stockton, CA. I was on a mission to buy a shrimp ring; which is a packaged container of shrimp shaped in a ring with a package of cocktail sauce.I couldn't find it in the section where it's located in my local neighborhood Raley's. So I ask the a staff stocking shelves nearby, he says to ask the front cashier, she tells me to ask the deli counter, he tells me to ask the butcher. Everyone was courteous and genuinely trying to be helpful. I get to the butcher counter and I ring the bell for assistance at the butcher counter. The butcher promptly comes out, the nicest guy ever. Great big smile and personality. But he sadly informs me that this particular Raley's no longer carry shrimp rings. Awwww shucks. So I had to resort to plan B and shop about for other items to bring to the dinner party. The butcher recommended a bottle of wine. I like how he's thinking. But it's a dry gathering. As I shopped, I noticed that this Raley's interior was a bit dated but carried all the usual items. Clean, organized. Plus I was able to check out quickly.
