At 1230 there was no show or phone call. I called and she would call Mike and see was going on. She called me back and said he was busy and could we make it another day. She scheduled for the 12th of February at 11AM. Mike came out and I told what I had planned, he took pictures and measurements, and we discussed the all the facts. He said he would go back to his office and figure out an estimate and send it to me by email that day or the next morning. On Monday the 16th of February, I call him. He stated he had been busy and would send the estimate right now, in a voice like I was bothering him. Then he hung up on me before the conversation was over. This is the second time I have tried to do business with this company. The first person was very nice, the problem was they couldn't get the generators. That was in 2021 with a very bad winter. I do not recommend this company and especially Mike Boucher. By the way, it cost them a sale on a 26K Generac Generator.

He made excuses that the contractor said this and that , but really why install dead switches now we have to push multiple switches to find the one that works. He also worked for a very dishonest contractor we fired for being dishonest. You would be better off getting a plumber to do your electrical than this company. The team stated that they didn't have a drill bit for brick (not sure how on that big truck) and had to run and get some (another hour billed for lunch for all I know...) but when getting this bill, it had $200 of tools on it including extension cords, etc. What is really irritating is that I had to insist on an itemized bill to find all of this out. We had used them once before and their work was fine and price seemed reasonable. Their technician arrived and was pleasant and within 10 minutes had located a popped GFI so he pushed the button, told me I'd receive an invoice and left. Today I received the invoice and it was $150. For a 10 minute service call. I called the company and was told by Eddie that to "fire up a truck and send someone out" was $150 and that everyone else charged at least that and as much as $200 for the same thing. So I called Lone Star Electric and i asked them hypothetically what they would charge for the same exact call and they told me $95. Then I called another company and got the same $95 quote. I just reviewing exactly what my experience was with Best Electric so others will be aware of the exorbitant price difference before making a decision.
