The team stated that they didn't have a drill bit for brick (not sure how on that big truck) and had to run and get some (another hour billed for lunch for all I know...) but when getting this bill, it had $200 of tools on it including extension cords, etc. What is really irritating is that I had to insist on an itemized bill to find all of this out. We had used them once before and their work was fine and price seemed reasonable. Their technician arrived and was pleasant and within 10 minutes had located a popped GFI so he pushed the button, told me I'd receive an invoice and left. Today I received the invoice and it was $150. For a 10 minute service call. I called the company and was told by Eddie that to "fire up a truck and send someone out" was $150 and that everyone else charged at least that and as much as $200 for the same thing. So I called Lone Star Electric and i asked them hypothetically what they would charge for the same exact call and they told me $95. Then I called another company and got the same $95 quote. I just reviewing exactly what my experience was with Best Electric so others will be aware of the exorbitant price difference before making a decision.
