Was in Big Spring today and asked how to get to the shop from TA and was given directions, but truck's wheel was shaking so bad I had to cut off and go down a side street so I wouldn't get ran over. So I ended up a couple of blocks down Owen and didn't see the shop so I called back and the guy who answered told me that if I had followed his directions I would have found the shop. THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME!! First thing is if this was an employee he doesn't deserve his job, and if it was the owner he doesn't deserve the business that pays his bills. Absolutely the worst experience of my life. We have been in business for quite some time and are a reputable trucking company. Crooks like this give mechanics a bad name. All we asked for was for them to install the transmission that WE wanted not what he was trying to sell us. It's our truck and our right to put what we want in it. In the end, We received an invoice and were told we needed to pay cash or we wouldnt be getting our truck. He charged me$1853.00 to drain my transmission and tow us 65 miles and for 3.5 hours of labor. Gave us no choice but to pay him, wouldnt talk to us at all about ANYTHING. He just yelled at my husband and myself on the phone and kept hanging up. We paid him, via paypal and our credit card. He then tried to argue and yell at me to fill out a absentee credit card charge form to run my card...even though we paid him via paypal. Ended up having to call the police to get our truck out of his shop, show them our receipt that we had paid in full the 1853.00 and the cops told him since he had a warrant for an assualt he could either go to jail...or release the truck. long story short...TRUST YOUR GUT FEELING and DO NOT USE EXPRESS!!!!!!
