My neighbor Bill told me I could pick up a good used replacement at Family Appliance Dunedin. I stopped in and spoke to Ken Sr. We discussed fixing vs replacing. It was decided his son Kenny would call me to make an appointment to diagnose problem. Kenny called to let me know he was on his way. He professionally and accurately figured out what was wrong. Yes, parts and labor were high, but I really liked my washer and a new one would have cost hundreds of dollars more.
