These guys destroyed the classic car I inherited then refused to make it right…read more I was referred to Awesome and told they were slow, but did good work at a good price. I had recently inherited my dad's C4 corvette Indy pace car and wanted the convertible top fixed, as it didn't seal and let in water, along with several cosmetic touches like adding visors. After several months they called and said it was ready to go. I should have refused immediately when they said they replaced my convertible top with one that no longer had an inner liner, so it looked tacky and not remotely the quality of the one I already had on it. Further, the "new" top still didn't seal and had visible gaps at the windows still allowing rain in. Also, it was clearly used and NOT new. As we tried to leave, my car ran out of gas before we exited the property, because they had clearly been driving it a lot. Then in the 1/4 mile drive to get on 635, the "brand new" visor literally fell off and was dangling by the exposed wire (see pic and text with timeline). They hadn't screwed it back in or lined up the screws. I called them immediately and they claimed they had too much business and asked it I could drop it off in a few weeks when things calmed down. I called close to a dozen times over the following 6 months and they never would see me much less agree to fix their shoddy work. Other than the fact that they had literally had it for 6 months, the push for me to get it back was due to my wife's birthday the next day and we planned to go for a ride. SO disappointing. Further, they tried to overcharge me by thousands. I found NEW parts at full retail prices in the official corvette book and they were all less than they were charging me for the crappy used parts they put on my car. DO NOT trust them with anything you care about.

We had to take a photo of the truck & the driver as we were in complete disbelief! Just had a TERRIBLE experience with this company that I would not wish on anyone. They were dispatched through Verizon who we have contacted and made knowledgeable of the issue before taking any further action. There was a 3hr wait in which we still had to contact to find out an updated ETA on the driver after not meeting the time. They gave us his location and he did contact once he made it to the area. We advised the driver of where it was located no problem and met him there. I pulled up next to the driver to let the owner of the vehicle out to assist. The driver sat in his car ignoring her essentially and texting on his phone. When she asked if he thought he could tow the car he said "I don't know" rude and nonchalantly. During this my mother called and I was letting her know the situation play by play which had nothing to do with him or his job . She later came back to the car and said he's not taking the tow because it's "just like black people" to be saying something. He got in his truck and drove off. It's unfortunate as the individual isn't even black, she is biracial. I believe he may have been frustrated as it was relayed to us that his boss rushed him to the job. End of day that is not our fault and we did nothing to warrant this type of discriminatory behavior. The manager as well as the young lady were on the phone of which he admitted to using the racial slur multiple times and stated "I'm black so I can say whatever I want to say about those black mfs" and the manager laughed. I've never been involved with or witnessed this level of ignorance in my life. All triggered by him being "rushed" to do a job he signed up to do. I mentioned Triple A so idk if that is what made him angry, but regardless of the type of work, you are still running a business. After waiting 3 hrs this is what you get. Please avoid this company and we have already been in contact with the necessary entities to take further action. Working and having a degree related to this field fortunately affords me with the knowledge and steps to take in this instance but I just wanted to take time to let others know about our experience. This left the individual in tears and it really shouldn't have been that deep. Ultimately I was able to call Triple A and a driver was there within 30 mins. Please use discretion with this company.

I had a friend help me push the vehicle out of a parking garage to the street to make it easy for pickup. After waiting 2-1/2 hrs I finally called back and was told that they had no record of the scheduled pickup and that they would not be coming. Had they just declined to do the Service originally I could have just left the vehicle in a safe location until I found someone else. They have put me in a bad situation and wasted a considerable amount of my time. My vehicle is currently in the way in at my apartment complex waiting on another company. Silas & Sons Quality Towing Services shouldn't be allowed to operate with this type of service. They also hung up on my service advisor. Do yourself a favor and use ANYONE else!!!!!!
