When I saw what had happened to all of my furniture I called Nick to come and inspect all of the damage. He arrived with a camera and took pictures of all of the damage and PROMISED that he would have it all repaired and would call me when the he had a estimate on everything damaged. About I week later he called me and said that there was no way that his men could have caused that much damage and more or less insinuated that I had did it myself. Before the move he was in my home and had checked my furniture and found nothing wrong with it. There is no way that I would destroy what it took me a lifetime to own. So when the estimate came in for the cost to repair all the damage his men did he refused to make any kind of restitution and stopped answering my calls . I am a senior woman and because of that he took advantage of the fact I couldn't do anything to force him to do the honest and right thing and pay for what his demolition crew had done to my belongings. So take WARNING and avoided this company at all costs or you will pay the same price that I did. This is not a moving company but a demolition team and the only thing you will get by hiring them is unlimited Stress and astronomical financial loss .They took advantage of me because they thought because I was a old lady and would not fight back. Move forward 7 years and I noted some clips to the older Blinds needed replacement. I contacted Shades and Shutters to ask if they could source the clips for the older model Blinds that were purchased by the previous home owner. I have no idea where the previous owner purchased the blinds. I made the inquire on the Shadws and Shutters web site and that same day received a response from John with a picture of what the replacement clips looked like. I asked how to purchase the clips and John noted he would be in the area where I live the following day and would drop them off. I came home from running errands and there were the clips at my front door. So I have dealt with this company twice and on both occasions their service was excellent.

The policies and Wayne's customer service is polite but he and his colleague are inflexible - I complained and left a bad review on their company site- and and funny I got a raise in my storage fees of more than 40$ (a 25%increase) the next month. So Beware they are not flexible in payment dates despite movie in dates, and only response you will get is "company policy" we won't do anything, and will happily charge you extra for this service. (to the tune of 60$+ monthly) My situation is simple I asked to pay on the 20th (when I moved in) monthly which I pay on that date every month - so I have spoken to Wayne and his colleague about that- they know the situation - I get the " Company policy" "nothing they can or will do. So every month since being there - I have had Storage mart lock my storage for 20 days, and charge me for that service + charge to remove it monthly+charge all kinds of administrative fees. (what should be ($240 month tax in is now $299) and add to it they call every day, email, and send post mail despite knowing the situation. So I would say choose another facility if you can- it is not worth it and no better than any other storage facility.
