Our call was returned the next morning and someone came out that day to look at the roof. He quickly determined the problem and gave us an estimate on the spot. We gave him the go-ahead and the office called us within 24 hours to schedule the repair which was promptly completed within 3 days. I can't say enough about this company. They were incredibly responsive, were able to pinpoint the problem exactly and had the roof fixed within days of our call. Bob Riddick Roofing is well-known in this area and I would highly recommend them.

They worked with us to keep the costs and the scope in line with our budget. The timeline we discussed came in very close, we added a new HVAC and some other items that pushed us out by a few weeks. the quality of the work was phenomenal, and our PM., Jason, was extremely responsive to texts and calls. We are usually very hands-on people, but we were able to handover our project to Jason and the team, and the results far exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Construction Marketing!

We had the Construction Marketing team bid and do the work on our dock at Smith Mountain Lake. It…read morewas a major renovation with a lot of different aspects that included electrical, woodworking, and cabinetry. We had the ceiling installed, removed the boat slips, replaced the decking with Trex, boxed in the columns, lighting, and fans installed and a bar with appliances and kegerator put in. They were the most expensive of the bids we got but based on our interactions and seeing some of their other work, we had confidence in them and decided they would be the ones we went with. Due to the COVID crisis, it took longer to get materials and crew in place than our original schedule, however, the work they did was fantastic. The decking required a lot of precise cuts and detailed work and the project foreman, Jason, and his team did a great job. Of particular concern was the integration with both our irrigation system (the pump is in the attic of the dock) and the wireless system for the speakers and they offered creative solutions which have been well-implemented. Throughout the process, they were very sensitive to avoid damaging landscaping and grass and always cleaned up after their work each day. Any issues that came up were dealt with quickly and efficiently. For example, when materials were delayed and wouldn't make a schedule deadline we set, the job foreman, Jason, jumped in a truck and drove to the plant in North Carolina where they were being stored and brought them back himself. I was pretty impressed with that. Jason played a key role in making sure everything not only met my expectations but exceeded his own high standards. I can attest to the fact that Construction Marketing made every effort to make sure the job was done the way we wanted it. I'm very happy with how it eventually turned out.

Floor tile work was done fairly well. Wall tile and all painting work was not. Wall tiles are…read moreunevenly spaced with large gaps between the tile and the schluter trim. Tile lines are not lined up. Whole house was repainted due to the paint work being beyond unacceptable. The county building inspector thought their "final" paint work was only primer if that tells you anything. This business has several photos from our home where they are misleading people into believing the work is theirs. The "wood art installation with pendant lights" was not done by them. Not a single part of that light installation was done by them. The same cabinetry you see in that photo is also described in their gallery as "granite and cabinet install". They installed the cabinets....three times before they got them correct, even though they had the cabinet design plan with all measurements and specifications in hand from the beginning. They said the refrigerator panel the cabinet maker did was just an extra piece of material, didn't know what it was and tried to exclude it from the install. The "granite" is quartz and was NOT done by them as they imply. The custom built showers that they imply they built were simply them doing very subpar tile work without appropriate waterproofing, shower floors that did not drain properly due to inconsistent slope, and ultimately had to be ripped out and redone by a real professional. They did not construct any framing of those showers. Even lied about being able to install a niche and then said they couldn't. They boast about how they don't leave until you're satisfied but when we tried to point out issues, she blames everyone but herself and her work. Takes zero accountability. Blamed the drywall crew, blamed me. Even blamed the Sherwin Williams Super Paint for the paint issues, saying it was a bad paint. Look closely at her posted tile pics. I wish I had zoomed in on the work a lot closer, she would've never been hired to begin with. Also, if you have more than one contractor working your project, she will try to create conflict between you and your other contractors. Do yourself a favor and just hire someone else!

I had several trees on my driveway that needed to be removed, including one right next to the house…read morethat could easily have done some damage. I called Roots Arbor Care intending to have them remove that one tree and do the rest myself. I called them for an estimate and Anna came out the following day. She answered my questions, discussed the possibilities for various options, and sent me a quote the following day. Very nice and professional lady. The overall quote was quite reasonable and included a discount for having all the work done. So much so, that I decided to have all the trees in question removed and several stumps ground as well. It was a good decision. As Anna had said, they scheduled the work for a couple of months hence, then gave me a precise date when the time arrived. It was a rainy, cold morning so I thought they would cancel but the crew showed up right on time and did all the tree work in one day. The crew was very polite and helpful, worked hard, did an outstanding job, and left the site very clean. They even chipped up a few extra big branches that I had laying around from wind damage. I should also add that my wife generally doesn't like working with contractors because they often treat her pejoratively (dismissive, mansplaining, etc.). However, she thought that Nate and his crew were very professional and respectful, and would not hesitate to work with them again. The stump grinder showed up a couple days later and also did great work. Great people, good, hefty equipment and an overall solid job at a fair price. Highly recommended.
