If you're moving within or from Tallahassee, you need to call Experienced Movers. Dariss and Dustin moved all our stuff, including a full living room set and hundreds of books, out of a second floor apartment and into a third floor apartment while keeping all of it safe and clean. They were efficient, professional, and careful; I intend to work with them again next time I move. I got quotes from a number of moving companies before my roommate and I moved across town. Experienced Movers gave me the lowest quote and had AMAZING service. I asked and they said they'll move folks from Tallahassee to a wide radius of other cities and even other states. Give them a call! read more

AMAZING. My sister and I needed last minute arrangements to move stuff from her apartment to the storage unit. Dariss and his coworker were very efficient. They had the best attitudes and we've already scheduled with them again to move to the new place!! read more

We needed last minute help to unload a POD to a storage unit. Not only was Darrius willing to help, he provided 3 men and a truck at the last minute and was flexible on the timing. Eric, Wendell and Duval were amazing! They showed up early and were very professional. I highly recommend them and would be happy to use them again! read more

Darrius is a big lier at experienced movers. He was supposed to move me on October 9, 2023 @8:30am, he was a no show, I texted him and called him twice and my daughter called and left messages also he didn't reach out to me until the next day.I had to rush to get another moving company to move me and it was so stressful. I would NOT recommend him to anyone...... clearly he didn't want to make any money.....No communication or phone call. Very BAD business. read more

Experienced Movers was very professional and prompt. Darriss and the guys showed up on time and were very quick and efficient in moving everything out. I have to say I was very pleased. I would recommend Experienced Movers to any and everyone I know! Thank you again! read more

I Recently moved back to Atlanta, and I needed a mover to for all of my large furniture. I have a three bedroom fully furnished home, and there was no way I was going to be able to pack and move all of that furniture, even with a crew of friends. It was short notice, and I called at least five different companies .The estimated quotes were expensive from the other movers, and the customer service of some of them were questionable (I will review those companies on their respective yelp pages). From my first contact with the owner of Experienced Movers, I knew I was speaking with a professional. I called and left a message, and he responded within 20 minutes. I told him my situation, and he was able to give me a reasonable quote considering the distance, and amount of furniture that I was moving. When the time came to move, the movers packed up the furniture and the items that I weren't able to, and packed all of my rooms in the moving truck in less time than google suggested it would take (Yes I google everything.. LOL). One thing that stood out was the care that the movers put into my belongings, and their level of professionalism. My furniture was delivered and set up the way that I asked for it to be, and in the SAME CONDITION that it was taken from in my previous home. Although this company is in Tallahassee, I would use this service again for cross-country move. Moving is a hassle in itself, and I am happy to have had Experienced Movers to help me during this stressful time of relocating. read more

Darris and Asher did a great job on my move this past weekend. Their work was excellent and efficient. It only took about 3 hours for them to move me from Tallahassee to Crawfordville. On top of that, they were extremely nice people and I'd recommend them to anybody anytime. 5 stars. read more

Unreliable, look elsewhere. Left a woman in need hanging on two separate days, both of which were time-sensitive. Saturday was due to them sending the crew home 30 minutes before the 11:00 start of my 11:00 - 1:00 arrival window. Darius rescheduled for Sunday, which was helpful. Second day was due to an unfortunate event out of my control. However, I had already been at my house. The crew waited 5 minutes, complained they were on the street (they've never seen the connector streets off Orange Ave.??), did not wait for the guy picking up one piece of furniture to leave and drove off. I called back after about 25 minutes, assuming the crew had taken a break or maybe headed to the next job. Left a message with Darius. It took my real estate agent calling him to tell her the company refused to come back, due to policies unknown to me. Unprofessional, unrealistic, and apparently inexperienced with humans. Never got the chance to find out about furniture. I'm guessing no. read more

Darriss did a fantastic job with my moms move from Tallahassee to Tampa. Fast, dependable, efficient, careful, and professional. Prompt, great communication, honest and friendly with no issues of any kind. Would definitely recommend Experienced Movers for any moving jobs anyone is considering. Thank you for a seamless move!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about this company! Darriss and his helper (I'm so sorry I don't recall his name) were amazing! They had no problem traveling 45 minutes outside of Tallahassee to help us move. They arrived on time and moved big, heavy furniture to a third floor apartment with no elevator! Not only did they have to climb stairs, they were also done within 2 hours! Again, if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you so much for your help! read more

I recently used this company to move my items from a 2nd floor apartment into storage, and then from storage to a new apartment a few weeks later. They were professional and efficient. The move was I within the initial two hours and the price was exactly what was quoted with no add-ons. I have never used a moving service like this, but I can guarantee I will again should the need arise. This is a great company. read more

This was the first time we have moved in 18 years and we were fortunate enough to hire Experienced Movers for the job. We moved from a house in Summerbrooke to the Plaza Tower condos downtown. The movers arrived exactly on time, had a nice sized truck, brought a crew of four, and got right to work. They even helped me move stuff we were disposing of from the house to the garage, and then made two stops, placing our possessions into storage and then our new home. Their team was polite, efficient, and friendly. They moved five bedrooms and four other rooms worth of furniture with no incident or damage. They were flexible and worked through issues quickly, for example, someone was blocking the loading dock at our new home. Finally, they finished the job earlier than expected and came in under budget! We were so impressed, we tipped the crew extra for their hard work and good spirits. I highly recommend Experienced Movers for your future moving needs! Try them, you will not be sorry. read more

I would HIGHLY recommend Experienced Movers! I was so impressed with how quick they made my moving experience, they loaded my old apartment and unloaded at my new apartment in about an hour! The guys who helped move were very polite and did a great job. I will definitely be using them again and will recommend them to anyone who needs moving help! read more

Great movers, great company! Easy to work with and very conscientious movers. They take extreme care and extra steps to protect your goods, even if you're just moving down the street. Ive used them twice and I routinely recommend these guys to my clients and they are never disappointed. read more

We called to check the availability and disnt hear back in 30 min so we called them back. The gentleman name, Darius was NOT courteou at all. He sounded as if he was pissed at the whole world. The price was ridiculous too. We will not recommend them. read more

I would give them more stars if possible. They made a difficult move manageable. I could not believe how quickly and efficiently they packed everything up. Then when we got to my new location, which was much smaller, Darriss made some much needed suggestions on how to arrange both the bedroom and living room to give me the most space. The truck should say Experienced Movers, Interior Design, and Feng Shui! I cannot thank them enough for their level of professionalism, kindness, and being spot on with the estimate. If I ever move again I will definitely call them! I highly recommend their services! read more

I recently used Experienced Movers for their loading services. Darriss and his colleague were extremely careful when loading my items and worked hard to get the job done fast. They were very systematic and organized in loading the truck, which I really appreciated. The price was comparable to other quotes I obtained and I would definitely recommend this company for moving needs! read more

This is the worst moving company we have ever hired! When we called for a quote, Darius didn't say anything about there being an upcharge to move "heavy" items, but when they showed up, we were told it was going to be an extra $150 to move our elliptical and $75 to move our washer and dryer in case they were damaged. The elliptical did get damaged but they refused to pay for the damage which ended up costing us another $150 to get fixed. They get paid by the hour, so they took their time taking one thing to their truck at a time. I asked them why they weren't using their dollie and they said all of our stuff would break if they did, which I kind of feel like might of been a threat since a lot of our stuff had minor nicks and scratches. Like, if we expected them to actually hustle and do their jobs right they were going to get back at us. read more

If it were possible to give a rating LOWER than "0" I would. I've moved five (5) times in my life and ALL went well. They were done by various movers and EVERYTHING was timely, no broken items and ALL was well. Darius & his disorganized rag-abounds were untrained & disorganized. MANY of my items were BROKEN. Those that were not broken were DAMAGED. Darius, the owner, appeared to have picked these guys up off the street corner. He DID NOT keep his word about the services that he would provide. At the end of the disaster, he wanted to be paid in CASH. That proves that he is DISHONEST and probably does NOT report all of his income on tax returns. Additionally he does NOT KEEP RECORDS and does not make an inventory of all items to be moved. He does NOT COVER ITEMS to protect them from being damaged. He is the WORST MOVER I've EVER encountered. I would NOT recommend him to my worst enemy if I had one. If your belongings are important to you, please heed from my experience of BROKEN and MISSING ITEMS and choose another mover. I was very pleased with Mike's Movers and AMWAT Moving. They made an inventory of ALL that was to be moved, had enough TRAINED EFFICIENT workers who were on time, who wrapped & covered my 6 rooms of furniture. Neither of these 2 companies broke anything, they were careful & efficient. EVERYTHING was perfect with these 2 companies & I truly regret that I did not use one of them again. If your possessions are important to you it would be wise to use another mover. When I called Darius 2 months later & asked where an item was he told me he had no idea. I asked him to look on his inventory sheet of what he moved & he told me he doesn't make an inventory sheet, he just comes and moves things. PLEASE HEED my experience if your belongings are important to you, USE ANOTHER MOVER. I wish I had done so. If there were some MINUS STARS, I would have given that to Darius' company. It should be renamed to INEXPERIENCED MOVERS. My move did not involve and stairs. read more

They were EXCELLENT! These gentlemen went above and beyond. I was able to get an appointment only a week in advance. I was moving from an upstairs apartment into a two story condo. All my large furniture was moved with ease and I was never worried about anything getting damaged. All my stuff was loaded quicker than I thought it would be, so I asked if they would be willing to drive by my new roommate's place to pick up some of her large furniture. There was enough room in the truck and they didn't have an appointment after mine, so they said YES! I still had some time left in my appointment, but I paid for an extra hour just in case. Her apartment was also a two story. We were only planning to have them move the bed, but they went through and grabbed everything large since there was room in the truck. This saved her so much time. When we got to the new place, they unloaded quickly and even recommended where some of the furniture could go. Will definitely be using them again when I move next. Even with the extra hour, they were extremely affordable especially compared to what some other people were quoting me. read more

I called this company trying to get and estimate for a move from Thomasville Ga to Savannah Ga, I wanted someone to come out to give me and estimate and was told it wasn't worth a 45 minute drive to give me and estimate. Unbelievable!! My name is Barry Fields and phone is 2299778337. If you want to reconsider read more

Great movers! Very pleased with the service. Hired Darriss and his colleague to load items into a rental truck. Very fast and efficient. Only took them about 1 hour to load everything neatly. Would definitely recommend! read more

Wow. I have moved over 10 times in my life using movers and have never encountered a company as good as this one. They are fast, efficient, pleasant, and very professional. Even better they are cheaper than all of the other companies I received quotes from by $500. I would use them again and again and even for long distance moves. read more

I am very pleased with the work provided by Experience Movers. They gave a competitive quote, show up exactly on time for each part of the 3 way move. Darriss and Tremain were total professionals and treated my furniture better than I do. These are my movers from now on! read more

I have used their services for my last two moves and these guys are nothing but outstanding! Darriss is professional, has very fair pricing and has an excellent team. They are always courteous, helpful, patient and know how to make customers comfortable throughout the always stressful moving experience. Very detailed oriented and careful. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I hope I don't move again fora while, but when I do, I know who I'll be calling! read more

These guys are fantastic. I was in a last minute jam, and called the movers I had used 4 times, and they did not have time to help me, so I called Experienced Movers. They were short on time, but came anyway, and helped us get a big piece of restaurant equipment moved. And did I say reasonable rates? I will never use another mover: for customer service, professionalism, and experts at their job they are number one in my book. read more

Outstanding experience with Darriss and his crew -- they were prompt, professional, and pleasant. Nothing got damaged, and they got things done quickly. Rates are extremely reasonable for the level of service you get. Highly recommended for a worry-free move. read more

This was a wonderful moving experience. I was short on time and disorganized, and they quickly and safely packed and transported everything. They even helped me size my storage unit. Very professional. Would recommend them to anyone. read more

Experienced Movers provided shoddy service on our July 5, 2011 move. They did not use any furniture pads to protect our goods. Unsurprisingly, several pieces were damaged. The most severe damage was to the footboard of our bed, which was broken. In response to our complaint about the damage, the movers responded first by pretending it did not happen, then blaming me for the damage, and then finally implicitly acknowledging responsibility by offering to have someone on their staff who not a professional carpenter/furniture repair person repair the bed. When we refused this solution, Darriss, the Experienced Movers representative, refused to pay for the repair or provide any information about his insurance coverage. The public should be warned to avoid this company. read more

We hired them to load our moving truck in early October and I cannot say a bad word about them. These guys are the best. They showed up on time, they were perfectly priced, and they were efficient. I could not have asked for a more polite and hardworking mover. If I had not moved out of the area I would use them again. read more

This company did a move for me in November 2012. I almost told them just to leave. First off, when they arrived, they had no idea that they were to do packing only so there was a little complaining. There were 3 men. One man in particular was a real pain. Always huffing and puffing, annoyed that he had to pack. He did not mark the boxes. He kept talking about how he needed to go meet his lawyer later. My first thought was maybe family law lawyer, should have asked if it was a criminal lawyer. He even made a point to tell me that he had to go see his lawyer. I asked if perhaps then someone should come pick him up, he did not respond. He asked me to put my jewelry aside. This sort of screamed red flag but then I thought perhaps not. He later while unloading, kicked a box off of the truck. The other two movers asked if they could have things. One asked for hangers and one asked for an extension cord. The "supervisor" one was the most polite but they were incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL! One asked me to get more boxes and then did not really use them. I was always suspicious of them, they more irritated me than anything else. And here I was paying these people for a service. Things did DISAPPEAR in the move! Some expensive items. I did google search them before but unfortunately missed some stuff online, such as they have a D- rating with the BBB. A lot of complaints, their insurance coverage is expired and the accusations of previous theft. I would highly recommend AGAINST this business. I am surprised that they are still in business. Their employees need lessons in professionalism and business and theft. One I caught going into my jewelry box and the jewelry in the box was gone after the move. read more
