**Please read if you are considering All about moving** I have used All About Moving on multiple occasions throughout my time in Tallahassee, FL. They have gone above and beyond to not only protect my personal belongings but to give me peace of mind during a chaotic time. Let's face it, no one enjoys moving. However, whether moving from 1 apartment across town to another, to helping me discard furniture from my home to my latest move: loading a fully furnished apartment into a very small Pods (7x7) container (which would have been a game of Tetris for anyone else yet they did it with ease) in the scorching hot September North Florida sun. Their level of professionalism, kindness, and eagerness to help is unparalleled. I would not recommend anyone else for Tallahassee moving needs. From Karen's quick response to my inquiries, their VERY reasonable prices, to the team's friendly assistance - this is as good as it gets. read more

ASK FOR AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION IF YOU USE THEM! I assume their movers are great. Unfortunately, I was not able to experience this. I called this company a few weeks before a move to schedule a U-Haul load (moving to central FL), and I asked about rates and time. I wrote down that I had confirmed the day and time with them, and they were the last people in the area I called. Two days before my move, I called them to confirm my reservation, only to be told that they did not have me in their system, nor did they have any availability for that day (which is reasonable that close to a move date). Since I have no email confirmation from them (and they don't always send one), I don't know if I was just misunderstood or if something went wrong in their system. I would not have stopped calling places in Tallahassee if I hadn't been sure that movers in this city were confirmed. According to the person I spoke with, they will only send you an email confirmation if you request it- I highly recommend you do this so you don't end up in the same situation that I did! read more

As a businessman, father and Chairman of the Salvation Army Board of Directors I've hired dozens of movers over the years, but this time I needed someone I could really count on. All About Moving gave us a quick quote that was far better than anyone else. We needed to empty a 3 story house in St. George Island and move the entire contents all the way to our Salvation Army Store in Tallahassee. Joel and crew showed up exactly on time. They quickly reviewed the place and immediately started work. We could not have asked for anyone more professional. Nothing broken. Nothing scratched. They moved quick as could be and packed their truck like pros. One cabinet turned out to be too large to make it out the front door. Anyone else would have said, "Sorry, we'll have to leave this." Joel pulled out his tools and removed the top of the cabinet without making a scratch, and out the door it went. Great prices. Great service. Showed up on time and worked way harder than any crew I've ever hired. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be using these guys again. Nice work Joel read more

I have never had a better experience with movers. I moved from a 3rd story apartment to another 3rd story apartment and these guys got the job done extremely quickly and were very careful with my furniture not to mention the prices were the cheapest I was quoted in the city. When I have to move again, I will call them first. read more

The guy refused to refund my deposit because I didn't "cancel" the move 5 days before it was scheduled. The move was never scheduled, so this is nothing but a ploy to steal my $90. These guys will be reported to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Today the side of the door that did not have a problem is totally torn apart and the door doesn't work at all. We suspect the wrong springs were used and have called another company to fix the mess.

When our home was completed, they were able to handle a very complicated two part move as we had a three week gap between our lease expiration and our new home completion. Joe came out and did a comprehensive bid that factored in warehouse storage for all of our belongings. He had several dates available and when our builder missed the first one, Joe slid us into a backup date with ease. Our move required a load from our rental, an unload into AMWAT storage for three weeks, then another load back onto the trucks and delivery to our brand new home. As they loaded our items they tagged each one with a sticker to identify our items in their warehouse. When I say AMWAT was a life saver, it is not an exaggeration. The crew on our job was top notch! They all worked together beautifully. I am a pretty organized (read OCD) person, and I had a master list by box number to keep my inventory straight. The crew was patient with me and called out numbers as they brought in the boxes so we could place them in priority and room order. They hauled countless heavy totes up 20 stairs, more times than I could count. We had one small item get broken, and it was a complete accident not due to carelessness. They immediately called it in with instructions on how to handle reimbursement for repair. They were absolutely professional and fast fast fast. We all stopped for a lunch break and they powered through 2 FULL trucks in under 7 hours. Moving is not cheap, but they provided a service that was INVALUABLE at a VERY fair price. We are so VERY VERY grateful!!!!

Joel, Karen, and Frankie were the epitome of professional; courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Without a doubt, this move went much smoother than any of our previous long distance moves - about eight. We were much impressed by the care used in packing, loading and unloading of our goods. Joel was an expert in maneuvering the van into tight spots without a scratch or plant damaged. The three of them worked as an effective team seemingly knowing what to do without verbal communication. The cost of the move was more than fair and we would highly recommend All About Moving, to anyone considering a move, either local or long distance. I cannot think of higher praise for Joel, Karen, and Frankie than to say that after three days of packing, loading and unloading we felt as close to them as family. As for the service All About Moving provided...it was simply perfect. The Father/Son duo I worked with are completely professional, hard working and sympathetic & understanding. They moved a friend who had serious anxieties about moving yet they did everything humanly possible to put her at ease while doing their jobs as quickly and as completely as possible. I don't know how they could be so patient, but I'm grateful that they were. They moved everything without breaking or damaging any of the objects being moved, and they didn't cause any damage to either the original property or the new property. All in all they did a fantastic job. Although I hope not to have to schedule another move anytime soon, if the situation were to arise I would call All About Moving before I would call anyone else. read more

Recently, I agreed to help a senior citizen with moving his washer and dryer unit. I called several moving companies which quoted me what I thought were very high prices. I then reached All About Moving. Karen was very nice and efficient. She quoted me a very reasonable price and we set up a date for the move within the time period I needed it done. Karen and Joel showed up on time and transferred the washer and dryer without any problems. The electrical cable did not fit the outlet at the apartment where the unit was being transferred to. Joel went to Homedepot, got the correct electrical cable, installed it and completed all the work from pick up to completion in less than two hours. I am not easily impressed, but this team preformed significantly above all expectations. read more

The best moving experience I've ever had. I can't say enough about Joel & Frankie with All About Moving: On time, professional, polite, FAST, careful, nice & understanding of my cranky 2 yr old. Handled our stuff with such attention to detail, hard working, started the morning smiling & continued right through them pulling away at our new house. They were completely aware of how exciting it was for us to be moving. If I had known about how affordable these folks were & how they took ALL the stress out of moving, I would have called them every time I moved in college. I did a local move where I downsized from a house to an apartment. Frankie and Evan from AAM did a great job. They carefully wrapping up my furniture and carefully squeezed them into the cramped doorways. First time I used professional moving company (I am totally sold on not moving yourselves or using friends) and will use them again when I am ready to move back into a house. read more
