There is a nice trail behind the fitness center also. I recommend going for a brisk walk on that, enjoy the hot tub and sauna after that, then get a coffee from one of the many places in Town Center after that. A guaranteed good start to your day

    Worst gym experience I've ever had…read more I opted in for one of their free training session in the past, and the original trainer completely forgot to schedule me. When I arrived, he already had another client check in during the same time we had agreed on. He went into panic mode trying to hand me off to another trainer, even though that trainer already seemed busy. The trainer I ended up with was rude from the start and told me he had "higher priority clients" coming in later. He rushed through the session and basically ditched me immediately at the final machine. I later contacted Tony, the general manager, about the situation, but he was unresponsive and never offered any real resolution for the unprofessional behavior or disrespect toward me as a member. What made it even stranger was that Tony spent more time bragging about how he "looks 26" despite being 40 while trying to sell me personal training packages, instead of addressing the bad experience happening under his management. I heard this location eventually permanently closed recently. Based on my experience, I'm not surprised. Good riddance!

I love collaborating with Ray because he is very, VERY knowledgeable. He can breakdown your workouts into simple formats and he can explain things into science when necessary. Our communication was amazing! When I have an injury, I say it. And the moment I say it, he immediately knows what to do and he shifts gears to work around it. I even mentioned about my left knee ACL surgery and guess what? He helped me work around that too! My goal was to get back into shuffling (electronic music dance form) and he pinpointed the areas where I need to work on most in order for me to effectively get back into my goal. In fact, he spent almost 4 hours with me (program covers only 2) just to explain everything in meticulous detail and cover all the modifications required for my individual health needs. He gave me twice the amount of time at no extra charge - he did it just because he cares. I had never worked with a trainer before and it made all the difference working with a professional like Ray. He was extremely attentive, motivating, and FUN! We became friends and I always looked forward to my training sessions. Another big advantage to book with PureResults is because Ray explains the reasoning behind each exercise and the reasoning behind the order we do it in because he cares about instilling that knowledge in his clients as well. I learned more about my body and how to take care of it working with Ray in this short time than I have in the last 10 years I've been trying to yo-yo diet and work out on my own. She encouraged all of us to be playful and learn to understand and use our bodies better. She took time to listen to any history of injury, and tailored instruction to those that needed it, and offered helpful insights. You park out front, then walk through the breezeway, the turn right to take the stairs up to the studio. The front door is kinda around back from the main street, if that makes sense. The studio was not heated when I went. There are great props (straps and blocks are high quality and in good shape). A great place to make progress and celebrate all you are and can be capable of.

In fact, I've got range-of-motion issues in my upper body, so the thought of trying to be all athletic - in front of other people no less - was intimidating. I'd heard that yoga could eventually help me move without pain, so I sucked it up and started trying out studios. Of the many I've been to since, there are 3 that stand out. Yoga in the Center is one such standout. The studio itself is very spa-like in feel. It's all light walls, stone, & dark wood, with plenty of natural light. They have two practice rooms - a main room and a smaller one for prenatal and kid's yoga. I've only taken classes in the big room - it's very spacious, and the studio has a lot of props available for students to use as needed. It's lovely and comfortable. For me, what really makes the place are the teachers. I have been to studios where the teachers seemed frustrated with my inability to get myself into perfect alignment. I get it - I look like an amazon woman, therefore I *should* be strong enough to hold the pose. If my shoulders won't move that way, well, I should just try harder, and maybe one day I'll get it. Here, the teachers are encouraging, and helpful. The very first class I took with Carrie, she noticed me struggling and popped over to offer me a prop and an alternate version of the pose. I've learned so much from her. I've found that everyone here is really great at teaching to the whole class. When their schedule says All-levels, that's what they mean. The teacher will show different expressions of the pose so everyone can choose the version that works with their body - no judgment. Do be aware - Mill Creek Town Center is a busy place, and it can take a bit to find a parking spot in the evenings or on weekends. The studio is well worth planning in a little extra parking time. =)

Since then, they have followed him up to his new gym! I swung by a couple of Saturdays ago and did a 30 min workout here with the guys. I didn't know what to expect, especially since I have never been to a crossfit gym before. Our workout that morning was more conditioning exercises and I actually enjoyed it! We did the 9 AM workout with Coach Anna. I struggled with push presses and Joel and Anna were there to walk me through the movements when my form was not correct. Thank you! Cody was sore the following days and could barely lift his arms. I was decently sore as well. Meaning it was a great workout and it was only 30 min! It is a great space, very clean, and the coaches are very enthusiastic for you to be there! I'll definitely go by again when I am around on the weekends more!

Everyone has been really friendly and nice, and the instructors are great about explaining things for noobs like us (we've never done CrossFit before!) - also major plus, there are about the same number of women as men attending classes which is super inspiring and makes us feel comfortable. - nice, clean and well organized. We're doing a competition to get back into shape so decided to do unlimited classes and weekly training. We'll report back in a couple months on progress made

I am a local Chiropractor and I started sending my patients to Kirk and Grant at Fit4life during the "corrective" phase of their care to gain strength, stability and movement. Grant and Kirk are very detailed during the initial evaluations of each client, both are extremely knowledgeable about how to address muscle dysfunction. This is prevalent with the fantastic results my patients have seen with increased core strength and less fatigue of back and extremity muscles. It's always pump a bunch of iron, take a bunch of supplements, and pay for multiple training sessions that leave you limping for days. But I am very happy that I got a referral to Fit 4 Life. I am excited to say that I leave my training sessions with Grant, a little bit sore but very satisfied. My muscles are sore, I've worked up a good sweat, and I'm proud that I pushed through another workout. One of the reasons I picked Grant over someone at my local gym is that he has numerous certifications and continuing education. He keeps up on fitness techniques and nutrition. He's given me some great ideas for healthy eating. He's very positive and motivating. And he's great at gearing your workout to your goals and health issues. I like the personal attention and the privacy of his gym. I've been seeing Grant for a year and a half now and am glad that I found him through a reference from a friend. I can say that I am definitely in much less pain and have lost 20 pounds in the process. I am more fit, healthy, and happy. I plan on continuing my workout sessions with Grant to loose 40 more pounds.
