Worst landlord experience of my life…read more Quentin Smith seems great before you move in -- super friendly, responsive, and helpful. But once you've signed the lease, everything changes. He turns into an absolute tyrant. He's nosy, constantly up in everyone's business, and acts like he owns your personal life along with the house. He shows up without warning, day or night, and just lets himself in like he still lives there. There's zero respect for privacy or boundaries. It's honestly creepy and exhausting. He flies off the handle over the smallest things and loves to threaten tenants with being kicked out for no reason at all. Living under Quentin Smith Homes has been stressful and miserable. If you're thinking about renting from him -- don't. Save yourself the headache and find a landlord who actually respects the people paying to live in his properties. If Mr Smith plays his typical hand he will be along anytime to attempt to slander me. Best of luck Q. Slander me all you like. The truth is out about you for all to see.

Quentin I've decided to keep it professional. I'm going to discuss the things I don't think are…read moreappropriate because you did as a landlord. My first red flag should have been when you show me the room and I said that I liked it and then I could be in within 2 weeks. You told me you couldn't hold the room for me and then I might lose the room if I didn't come up with the money immediately. That forced me to decide immediately if I wanted to live there or not and then had to pay rent didn't do places to make sure I didn't lose my room. I didn't like how you promised not to raise the rent for 2 years only to find out a couple months in that you were forced to remove some discount you were supposedly giving me raising my rent $150 a month. I really didn't like being forced to sleep on a 1980 style waterbed. Part of your stick is that if they furnished home but you feel to mention the people that you forced them to sleep on waterbeds so that you don't have to purchase mattresses every time that tenant moves out. You failed to mention that there is a total of 14 people living in this house 9 or 10 bedrooms all over a thousand a month with three or four of them being rented to couples. I truly didn't like it when you moved in 18 year old and who had a pitbull that was never on a leash nor did it have a collar and it was untrained. As a father with a four year old it's hard to feel safe with a loose Pitbull roaming the house at will. It's also inconvenient to have a landlord who owns 13 properties and works full-time until recently being fired, get refuses to hire a property management company leaving home repairs non existent. It was also annoying that you said that utilities were included but it took an act of God to get you to turn the air conditioner on that you control from your phone. My bedroom is 80° and my daughter was sweating her asleep and when I sent you a picture of a thermometer to let you know that it was 80 in my room you said well once I hear from everyone at the windows are closed I will turn on the AC. I didn't like that you claimed it was a Airbnb ready home that came with a fully stocked kitchen a hot tub a fire pit etc etc. I didn't like that you expected your floors to be swept in mouth on a daily basis as if you lived there and that somehow while we were on a 30 day lease we somehow had to give you 60 days notice to move. Not to mention that of the 10 people that I live there with not one of us got a dime of our security deposit back. Others might like it when you send your son to take pictures of the house at midnight because dishes weren't done or when you found out that some lights were left on you decided to steal the light bulbs as punishment, but I didn't. I noticed that this Yelp review that we're speaking on isn't even involved with you as a landlord, it's described as a junkyard removal service and I'm sure another a couple of your past tenants have reviewed it you'll just delete it. What is the actual name of your company that we as tenants rent from. You seem to constantly change the name of your LLC in an effort to avoid people having opportunity to read your reviews. By the way nothing I have said is slanderous and I was late on rent once by two days and I paid your late fee gladly. I actually paid the rent late on purpose because it annoys you so much I think I had four phone calls from your son the first day it was late. People noticed that you're constantly have ads trying to attract renters. It's fairly obvious that you burn through renters rather quickly and then constantly in need of new people to fill there vacancies. I will admit you're very creative in the way that you do things on a month to month lease so that you can have access to the house without any prior notice anytime day or night as long as it's a common area. You're also smart to big people to give you a review the day they move in before they figure out how you treat your renters. In the five or six months that I lived there I believe that I lived with 18 different roommates and seven different dogs. Your all-time best move was when the entire house complained about a couple smoking fentanyl in the house repeatedly and instead of kicking him out you simply move them to a different property and didn't inform any of those renters about the situation.
