Around 8:10, one of the staff approached, and as I handed him the key, I said that I would walk down to Sip on the Square for a coffee. I was not in any hurry, and by the time I ambled back the car was ready. The inspection fee is $7. There is a county tax collector office just on the other side of the Blanco River, near the Wimberley City Hall. There was no line there, I paid $74 and left with the sticker to put in the windshield = good for one more year.

Their turnaround time is consistently fast without ever sacrificing quality - whether it was replacing our timing belt or fixing a leaking oil pan, the work was done quickly and correctly. What really sets them apart, though, is their honesty and generosity. After being loyal customers over the past year, they went above and beyond and replaced our camshaft actuator completely free of charge. That's the kind of customer care you just don't find anymore. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in doing right by their customers rather than just running up a bill. It's rare to find an auto shop you can trust completely, but APREMIER has earned that trust from us many times over. If you're looking for a reliable, fast, and honest mechanic in San Marcos, look no further. Highly recommend!

In regard to your response Frank I'll expose again why no one should use you. To start I used you…read moreafter the break issue we resolved to give you a shot. I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.

The catalytic converter on my vehicle was shot and I needed it replaced for Thanksgiving holiday…read moretravel. My regular mechanic does not do converter repair and recommended and referred me to B & E Auto Service. I was somewhat dismayed by the recommendation as B & E Auto Service is not conveniently located 25 miles from my home. However, a referral from my regular mechanic is trustworthy so I contacted B&E and made an appointment to have Butch, the B&E mechanic, diagnose the converter problem. Butch explained in clear, concise detail the damage to the converter, converter mechanics and operation, and choices I had in repairing/replacing the converter, what each procedure entailed and it's expected result in vehicle operation and converter performance and normal longevity of the new converter should be. After I decided what repair/replacement I wanted Butch to do, he gave me an estimate of the cost and by his expertise and knowledge he saved me several hundreds of dollars in unnecessary parts which a certain national auto parts supplier was going to provide me with. When I asked him to schedule the work, he told me he could not schedule it until after the Thanksgiving holiday. He explained he was fully booked with worked for the week prior to Thanksgiving and he would be closing the shop Thanksgiving week for vacation. Bottom line: Butch fit me in his schedule, repaired my vehicle and saved me a lot of money along with my Thanksgiving vacation bacon. The converter and engine perform like new.
