I was given her name from a friend. Im extremely sorry to have to write this review. Its very unfortunate. But its necessary.
She Was 25 mins late to look at my home to give an estimate which is fine, but showed up with a rude disposition no apology and it gets worse: i open the door she loojs dissapointed or something... She states "This house is supposed to be an estate sale home." I said no its a family home. but then she accused me of being someone totally different stating this was supposed to be the house of a dead woman and I had told her that. She seemed upsrt. She had a bad look on her face. I looked confused i said "no i dont think so this is a family home. She said, "Isnt your mother or someone dead and youre meeting me here to get it cleaned out??"
Again i said no you must be thinking of someone- "Yeah ok perhaps its someone else." She cuts me off, does even so much as smile and doesnt apologize for misstating who she was meeting.... and does not apologize for being late.
She then, no joke, pushed through the front door walks passed me without any asking of it is ok if i go ahead of you and open doors in your home etc.... she rushes in starts opening doors turning lights on (which i think as the homeowner I should be allowed to do!)
She could wait two seconds to allow me to escort her properly through my home for goodness sakes!... when she gets to my husbands office she stops, makes a face, lets out a big sigh, says, "Ok this- we will just ignore all this". Let me add a photo below. Its a tidy office but Yes he has little statues etc he has collected on the shelf, but when i say, "Well we usually just take those down when we want the cleaning person to dust there" she ignores me, maybe grunts slightly, walks out heads down the hallway to the dining room sighs heavily again at the "outdoor pillows" ive placed there temporarily bc of the rain, im sure i made a face at this point of concern.... she, walks to the kitchen ahead of me, again always ahead of me, makes a disapproving noise the stove, walks toward the bedrms n laundry room... i feel almost like violated in some way?
She is sooo negative and so rude. Just not even acting like a customer service person or owner of a business should in any way!
Opening doors to rooms without my permission- jumping ahead frowning making unapproving faces... oh my gosh! Ive never had such an experience. What was probably 3 mins felt like ten.
She pushes thru the house wo allowing me to get her shoe covers for her dirty shoes which we dont do my kids are young and play on the floor and we would like for works to just wear shoe covers. Her response? We cant take off shoes. Duh I get that, but i decide its not even worth it to argue.
Maybe she just had a bad day- but she was Horrible rude, couldnt even remember who she was meeting, was late and never apologized never smiled, pushed through my house with a very negative attitude so much so i had to kindly ask her to leave and that we would go with someone else.
I hope the next customer has a better experience. Ive seen good reviews and was referred! so I'm shocked. Bad day? Maybe? Is this what a customer should expect from someone you need to trust coming in your home when your at work? Never. Ever. Never.
******UPDATE: I appreciate the owners input and her apology. However im dissapointed she would try to say she did not say what she said, or the manner in which she spoke to me. She knows Im being 100% honest and I stated verbatim what she said in my office. Her "quote" below re how she spoke politely to me re the office is total hogwash and only serves to displace blame or make me sound overly sensitive or innacurate in my review.
As in my review, I said i have no problem at all with her skipping the shelves in our office. It was simply the rude unprofessional way she spoke to me and acted in my own home. However she did not even allow me to speak, and I tried to state we plan to remove those items, but she ignored me and walked out wo a response, and down my hallway with me catching up from behind. She needs to simply move on and work with professionalism from now on. read more
