This is a highly disorganized and unprofessional organization, and I highly recommend you refrain from considering using their services. I started using Executive Property Maintenance in 2018 because they merged with a landscaping firm I had do some work for me with which I was well satisfied. The first year went fine. Early in the 2019 season, I noticed I had received no contact from them and no sign of service. So, I called them. It took a couple times, but the owner finally emailed me a contract, I signed it and dropped it off to them the next day and service started. In that process, I asked the owner whether I needed to prompt them every year if I wanted to renew their service, and he said no, it was their error that it hand not happened in early 2019 and would not happen again. On to 2020. I received a mailing from Executive Maintenance in early April complaining that because of the Michigan Governor's COVID-19 related stay-at-home orders, they were not able to perform services and asking if I would contact the governor and complain on their behalf. To me, that meant Exec Maintenance considered me a continuing customer. The governor's order was revised and lawn maintenance companies were permitted to perform work, but I did not see Exec Maintenance. So, by mid-May, I called them and left a voicemail asking if they were planning to service my lawn and would they please contact me. Two weeks went by with no contact. By this time it is late May. So I called again. About a day later I received an email from the owner with a contract attached. I emailed back, saying I had signed the contract and written a check; given that it was so late in the spring, would they please come out quickly for the first application and if so I would have the contract and check for them, otherwise I would send it in the mail the next day, Thursday. I also expressed my disappointment that this same thing had happened two years in a row and they had been very slow to respond. I did not hear anything by the next morning, so I placed the contract and check in the mail as I said I would do. I did not hear anything further from them until Friday night, when the owner emailed me saying they did not want to do business with someone who was disappointed in their service and "good luck." Of course this left me high and dry with trying to find an alternative provider so late in the season. They also breached the contract we had achieved by them making an offer and me accepting it signing the contract and placing it in the mail with payment before their attempt to revoke the offer. I had to remind the owner that I had already mailed payment, and they said they would mail it back, which they did. read more
