I'm in town for the holidays and my boyfriend sat on my glasses and ended up breaking them. I didn't have any contacts and drove down here from Dallas, so I quickly looked for a place to get them repaired. I came in and the receptionist was quick to get them in the back. I waited about 5 minutes and they looked brand new. My dog had gotten a hold of them about a month ago and bit off one of the nose pads, which they also replaced. When I asked how much they would charge me, he told me nothing. Amazing customer service and amazing quality of work. Highly recommend this place! If I'm ever in town, I'll be coming here! read more

If I could put zero stars and comment I would. My experience here was horrible and I will never return. This is long so be aware. First red flag I called to make an appointment, the owner by the name of Steve answered I asked could I set up an appointment he said " yeah you been here befo ? " I said no this is my first time , he then proceeded to tell me he'll have to call me back in about a hour. The next day a woman called me to get my info and set me up a appointment, very nice young lady so I decided I would take my chances. Second red flag I come to my appointment and immediately as I come in the door he's yelling and screaming about if I have an appointment, not a hello or good evening just yelling " sign that paper and then look for ya glasses " I then proceed to do as such but this is my first time so I don't know what to look at but the young lady tells me I can look all over so I look on the first clear way by the door because it's close by he then yells infront the whole office " uh excuse baby how old is you ? " now I'm in a weird predicament where I have to tell the whole office my age which I'm not ashamed of it just the fact now I'm uncomfortable and I know your asking why not leave ? I wanted it to work out because I really needed those frames and I already called off for this appointment. So now that I picked out my glasses he tells me to bring it to the young lady mind you this man is laid back on his phone talking loudly to a friend I'm guessing not doing anything. I bring it to the very busy young lady letting her know I'm in no rush. I then get my exam the dr is very nice too but I'm still mind boggled how these two nice people could work for or with this rude man. As I come from the back he now has a chicken plate .. yall this man is grabbing and touch everything in there with grease and ketchup on his fingers. I am hoping in my head he washed his hands before he hands me my glasses. He didn't and was angry with me because I refused to put them on in the office. Saying " that don't make no sense baby " so I then mention the grease and ketchup he then says " well you should of said something I would of cleaned them for you " might you they should already be clean !!! He then cleans it with a paper towel and a random water like solution. This whole time I can't wait to shoot out the door. While I'm waiting for my clean glasses and a case I noticed he's also a pusher. There was a older lady there too needing bifocals and he then tells her it'll cause her $99 cause she brought her own frames but while you can see the lady is already contemplating the $99 he mentions how she'll regret not getting progressive and tint , so while feeling pressured she asked how much he tells her about 280 maybe so now the lady is whispering she only has 100 something. I can hear all this because he's loud and embarrassing. I then get me case and as I'm walking out he tell her just give me what you have .. yeah this place is really a mess and I honestly feel bad for his female worker because she was so kind even when he was making her do everything and yelling at her too. read more

(FYI: there's about to be some run on sentences here lol) I loved loved loved the fact that I went in and was able to leave with my glasses the same day and not have to wait for them to be sent off to a lab, I mean who wouldn't love that. Right? The manager told me that it's a new prescription so it'll take some time getting used to (meaning I may have some headaches which I always get with new glasses). I'm like, "okay cool"...I got my glasses and I didn't have to wait to be able to see lol. A few weeks went by (maybe two or three) and the headaches got worse. I called and asked to make another appointment because I think somethings wrong with my glasses that I recently got from you guys and the manger said to me (this time he sounded angry, I thought was because he's the one that does the glasses), "Ain't nothing wrong with them glasses, you have to let them adjust to your eyes"... me feeling like maybe he's right...Okay, I said. Months passed, eyes hurting and headaches were more intense. I decided to go to another eye doctor... You guessed it, I had the wrong prescription in my glasses. I have new glasses and no headaches. Definitely not going there again. I took a chance on this place because of word of mouth. If you really need glasses right then and there, I could be a good fit for you but it wasn't for me. read more

Executive Look Optical has potential. The problem is the owner is arrogant. It oozes out. He tries to be professional, but his arrogance supersedes his customer service ability. He knows what he is doing and that is why the business has potential. The price is decent, if you can tolerate his condescending attitude. I was there over the Holidays, visiting from out of town and he quoted me a price, I had two pair of glasses done and he told me he would give me a discount on the third pair, when my relative bring them back. He took the measurements and had a copy of the prescription. So al ln would be good. When I sent my glasses in from out of town, hand delivered by the relative, he had no recall of any conversations we shared, etc. I was called vis phone, by the relative and he was rude over the phone to the 10th power. Initially he was short fused with little patience, but I chose to ignore it. Now, I am done with that business. I found Zenni online and placed my first order. Great price and I have no affiliation with Zenni. I thought I'd support his business, but he didn't value me as a customer. He gave my relative the glasses back with the check I sent, saying he don't take checks even if President Obama comes in with one.Nonetheless, kindness will get one where knowledge won't, especially in business. First, I was told that my glasses would be here on the next business day. This was not true, when I went to go get my glasses, they was not there. So I agreed to get the glasses mailed to me. I was told that it should be there on the following Monday. Monday came and my glasses still wasn't delivered to my dorm. They THEN said it would be delivered on Tuesday(the next day). The glasses still wasn't there so I waited until Friday to call. Friday, they informed me that they got the shipping address wrong and they had to correct it. They THEN said it should be to me on Monday AGAIN. AGAIN. The glasses still aren't here. It has been over 3 weeks. I am a college student. I have not been able to see anything during lecture nor have I been able to see anything while I have been at my leadership conference. I asked for my $90 back, but the owner refuses because he said he had to pay $25 for shipping. So he said the most I can get back is $70. This is not fair nor professional, since it was not my fault that the shipping address was wrong and I was given false information the entire time while I was waiting on my glasses. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. The receptionist were helpful, but the owner has been rude and so unprofessional. read more

I would not recommend anyone to executive look optical because I had a terrible experience there today. Technician specialist was arrogant and rude. He appeared unconcerned about my needs(the customer). I have a very high prescription which means my eye glass lens are already thick,but to add insult to injuries...I complained that my frame looks and feels crooked...one side of the frame looks defective. After bending handles and adjusting glasses...He said, "There's nothing I can do" He stated that everybody has one eyebrow lower than the other...he said,"You can get another frame in a year" He wasn't empathetic at all. I'm a Medicaid patient and I feel like he could have done more. I will never go there again or recommend anyone to go there. It was my first and last visit. One side of my frame looks bigger than the other side. I have blindness in my left eye and not good vision in my right...and I have to walk around for 1 year with this imperfection...I'm very disappointed with executive look optical...#crookedvision read more

Initially I went because my Aunt told me that they had nice cheap name brand frames. The girl at the desk was very unclear about the way it works with the eye exam and contacts fitting. As I was asking her questions trying to gain a clear understanding of what she was saying, the man who makes the glasses, I can't remember his name but the AA gentleman who sits up front as well, butted in VERY rudely barking and fussing saying look, we do this like this and going on and on about policies and whatnot and he didn't even hear the entire conversation. I patiently waited until he finished his ugliness and I said had you ASKED me about the issue in it's entirety I could have told you I already HAVE my contacts prescription so I should not need to pay for a whole new eye exam-... he cuts me off and says ooooh I didn't know you already had your script. Instead of apologizing he begins to tell me how I should have asked my question so she could have understood me better. . Finally I opt to get glasses instead cause they informed me if I got them I could get them that same day. The entire time I'm choosing my frames, any questions I have about ANYTHING, be it color, fit, how they look, this man is being condescending with his responses, acting like I'm getting in his nerves. Very ridiculous. I got my glasses and then lost them after two weeks so I called to come in and buy another pair. I get there and the girl wasn't there n she's who I spoke to. So now I have to explain to him why I'm there. Soon as I begin to say "well I lost my glasses"... he immediately cuts me off and begins to fuss and bark about how I have to pay, he can't gimme nothing for free (as if I'd asked for a free pair), how due to my insurance I only get one pair per year. I, again, patiently waited until he finally let me speak again and I said I came to BUY a new pair today. Just like the first time, he starts being all seemingly annoyed and disgusted and he didn't even have any other customers when I first got there but a few came in as I was trying in glasses. When those customers came in, I noticed every pair of glasses I asked about he began to say things all loud and embarrassing like "oh you can't afford those, you have to get the cheap ones for 40 dollars ". Like there's a much better way to say and do things. Then, I asked him if he could look up the frames i bought before and he starts fussing for what idk. He pulls up some and says they don't have them in blue. I said well those wouldn't be mine cause mine were blue. He goes off on me telling my they couldn't POSSIBLY have been blue. I pulled up pics and videos and he said oh, I put in the wrong ones, then goes directly and pulled them up and said he didn't have the frames. I know this review is lengthy, but I had to be as honest as possible. I wish there were other places who did glasses the same way and I'm going to try and find one cause I NEVER wanna go back to executive look optical ever again! read more
