I have been meaning to write this review for a while. I first heard about ExecTech during a talk at a Santa Clara County Dental Society meeting. During that talk, Clayton was able to pique my interest enough to make me inquire about their dental consulting services. Long story short, I am so glad to have met Clayton that night and also so glad to have had ExecTech on my side this past year. My experience with ExecTech has been nothing short of amazing. Our practice numbers have dramatically increased. I attribute much of this success to the guidance from my practice consultant JD. He has helped me to put systems in place to better communicate and motivate my staff. JD has helped me to also analyze my practice more by numbers and less by "feel". We now consistently set monthly production, collections and new patient goals. Year to date (end of September 2018) we have over 850 new patients in and our practice revenue is up over 30% from 2017. I am a current client of Exec Tech. I've been a client for the past 3 years. I've watch my company go from mediocrity to extraordinary growth and profits - all taking place during The Great Recession. When we first signed on with Exec Tech, we had two dental offices that were opened part-time. We have been Exectech clients for four years now and could not be more pleased. We have grown collections by over 125% while working fewer hours and have considerably less stress. Magic? No! ExecTech gets 5 stars from me. Throughout the 30+ years that I have practiced, I have dealt with many, many different consultants -- both as an associate and as the practice owner. ExecTech is so very different from all the other consultants in that you determine your own goals. You are not forced to fit in a predetermined mold of what a "successful" practice is - you define your own meaning of success - whether you want a single boutique practice or multiple locations. And of course, your consultant will work with you to determine your unique steps (in a workable mini-program that is custom-designed so it is not overwhelming) to reach your goals. What will work for me will probably not work for you! I would also like to add that unlike previous consultants advice, ExecTech's methods are entirely ethical (no dishonest patient manipulations). My meetings with my consultant (Mike Graves) is truly the only time when it is entirely all about ME. There is no one else who will listen to me and address MY needs, all the time, every time -- not colleagues, not family, not friends. I have used ExecTech consulting for over a decade. This is a management consulting firm which will evaluate your unique issues and teach YOU how to handle them...expertly.It works. You will make more money and decrease your stress. What I liked about the program is the emphasis on coaching YOU, the owner/executive on how to handle issues, not just doing things and cleaning things up for you. All aspects of the practice were addressed, not just the hard-core business metrics, but things like staff communication, partnership issues, waiting room aesthetics, and, yes, Yelp. I have been working with ExecTech for the past 2 years, and it has been a wonderful experience. I own a dental practice and have 7 employees. Before hiring ExecTech, I didn't know how to be a manager of a business - they don't teach you that in dental school. I have learned so much from working with my consultant, JD. I am the owner dentist of a small dental practice in San Mateo. I took over the current practice from my uncle about 11 years ago. I ran into some financial hardships in 2017, and a friend of mine (who's also a dentist and a client of ExecTech), introduced me to Exectech to try to find out what are some of the problems that could be holding my practice back. Signing up with ExecTech probably is the best business decision I have made in the past 10 years. My consultant, JD, was able to analyze my practice professionally, and pointed out many areas that I could improve significantly in. He helped me to write up a very detailed office policy, made me understand the importance of using numbers and graphs in measuring the financial state of my practice, and also thought of ways that could bring new patients into my practice. His in-office training helped my entire staff to feel more interested and motivated in achieving monthly production and collection targets. Our revenue has increased by 22.7% compared to a year ago! Also, the program comes with a year of personal coaching session (my coach is Shannon). I feel more relaxed at home and at work, knowing how to better communicate with my family, friends, patients, and staff. Oh, Clayton. While I appreciate your public response, I would have appreciated a response to my personal email before all of this. We are well aware of the program length and I do not feel that expecting to see improvement after 4 months is asking too much. You've misquoted our production numbers in an effort to save face. I understand. At that time, May was our biggest production month but we were already well scheduled without Exectech well into March, April and May. Exectech can't take credit for the work that was put in before we started the program. I conveyed that to our consultant on several occasions. We didn't ask until mid summer that the program be put on hold. We were not seeing the results and yes, had expenses that you were well aware of when applying the hard press sales tactics and preparing the contract. Your group should have been well informed of our feelings and progress as we completed several reviews at each meeting which your firm requires. I fully understand the purpose of the graphs. But again, it is very time consuming and out dated when all of these items are available through any dental practice software. The wording recommended when dealing with patients in regards to scheduling and financial arrangements can be misleading and overly aggressive. Again, more of the hard press sell- That's not who we are. I did enjoy my time with Holley. Yes, the doctor was unable to connect with her. I also appreciated her allowing me to use the unused, already paid time of the doctor's so I could continue. What I didn't appreciate, was coaching being the loophole your firm used to continue to financially gouge. I'm disappointed with the results over our 4 months or more accurately, lack there of especially considering we paid for more than 6 months of service. Again, my experience is that we did not see results and were told we could end the contract if not satisfied. Clearly, that was not the case. read more

Check your watch or cell phone and note the exact time before you meet or talk with these "consultants." They start charging your account even before they do any consulting. As they encourage your office to ask your patients for referrals, the consultant repeatedly asks us to give him some referrals! Should get bios on these "experts" before signing up or else. read more

I reached out to them after finding it difficult to manage my staff related issues that most Doctors have to deal with if you are an owner of a practice. JD, my consultant, helped me implement many changes within our management structure for the better.
