My husband and I choose the 75 minute foot & body couples massage. Lucy and Helen are absolute masters of their craft. They clearly ask you what pressure you prefer, and then stick to your preferences throughout the treatment. Helen and Lucy take their time, are thorough, and regardless of what number client we may be in their busy day, Helen and Lucy always send us off with a smile and treat us as if we were the only customers of the day. I received a $45 Spa & Wellness gift card for my birthday. I called a few spas to inquire if they…read morehonored it. When I called Lan Spa she said Yes ~ they did accept that gift card so I scheduled a 90 min massage. I arrived early at 1:50 and was taken to the room. The massage therapist entered at precisely 12:56 and started the massage. The massage was very very good, I was pleased and planned to tip well for great service. However, as I lay on my stomach he leaned from my right side to my left and lightly pressed his groin on my hand. I immediately flattened my hand as I was a bit shocked and not certain what that was. He then moved to the other side and reached over and he did it once again. I felt violated and suddenly wide awake after that incident. At the end of the massage he stopped and abruptly left the room saying "90 minute massage over." Confused, I looked at the clock and sure enough, it was only 2:15. I was not pleased. At checkout I showed my gift card and he said " that not here". I informed him that the lady I spoke with over the phone stated they honored it. When she came out she said NO, she thought I meant their business gift card. I was a bit perturbed but chalked it up as an error in communication (that is being nice about this). Then I told them both the massage ended 15 minutes early and she stated I walked in at 1:50. I was floored --- EVEN if they timed it when I walked in, it was still less than 90 minutes. A massage timing begins when the massage therapist starts the massage ~ ON TIME. I kept my cool and only tipped him $10 due to that very fact. He looked at the receipt and stated "$10 for 90 minutes" in distain. UNREAL AND RUDE! I started to tell him that was for shorting my time but didn't even waste my time with this UNPROFESSIONAL human. I am a very good tipper and he really should have been glad I tipped him AT ALL and didn't go straight to the police to report the violation. I also read the other poor reviews and this was the same guy in the baseball cap that another customer complained about. They will never get my business again. Shame on him. Horrible customer service.
