I found this place on Yelp while i was staying with my best friend in Stockbridge…read more I called and they could take me once I got there which was awesome and often rare at massage places as they're often booked all day. :D This is a small, family run business so don't go in expecting a fancy spa experience. I personally love places like that but not everyone would. The woman who did my massage was great and I felt wonderful after. I think it was $60 for an hour. When I was checking out and man at the front desk said he'd been coming here for years and loved it. That shopping center has several other businesses in it that I visited too, a beauty supply store and and 2 ice cream parlors are what I remember. Go check it out! And leave a big tip. ;)

Absolutely not, The…read moremassage lady legit bulled me into tipping her. She told me the price which was $63 then followed up with you must tip, 10,15,20,25 dollars before the service. I told her no the tip will be determined on how good the service is. I was also asked to pay before hand. Not sure who these people are use to servicing but I will never return. The massage was horrible as she spent 45 mins rubbing my ass and 8 mins with hot rocks that I had to ask for. Run and book with a legit massage therapist or company in the area.

I ask for 90 mins massage but she point her finger nails at 30 mins, she didn't understand English which i could sympathetic for but if she didn't want to do 90mins just cross it out of the menu. And she starts her service around 10:45am and finish at 11:25am, I was like what? I pay 62$ just not even 1 hour and she said it's 1 hour massage. Because she thought i have and appointment at 10:30am and she will finish at 11:30am. So she didn't do good job as well, she just touch my body and move her hand on it, some part of my body she just massage one side and didn't do another side. What a disappointing business. Guys don't waste your money and your time here. I don't mind she didn't speak English well but she just so rush on it.

The 10-minute hydro massage afterward was a nice bonus and really relaxing. The only hiccup was at checkout -- it was supposed to already be paid for, but I ended up being charged. It was a little inconvenient, but everything else about the experience was great. Overall, I'd definitely come back and ask for Michaela again!

Aside from giving an outstanding and effective massage, she was so friendly and funny!!! I am now relocated to the area. At work, I I often spend 14 hour days several days a week on my feet, and after a few months or so they ACHE, especially in my heel, which is not the easiest place to kneed, but Ortavia delivered. Absolutely terrible experience. This place is unbelievably unprofessional…read more I tried FOUR different times to book a massage and was never actually able to get one. I kept getting the runaround from the one employee who speaks English, and communication overall was a mess. Another staff member was supposedly available at times, but every single time I showed up, she "wasn't there" or suddenly couldn't take me. What's even worse is that I drove there FIVE separate times after calling ahead and being told I had an appointment--only to arrive and be told no one could see me. Who runs a business like this? It's a complete waste of time and honestly feels disrespectful. The staff was disorganized, dismissive, and at times just plain rude. There is clearly no real scheduling system, no accountability, and no regard for customers. This place feels shady and unreliable, and I will absolutely never be back. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

I repeatedly asked her to be more gentle, but my requests were ignored. Instead of relaxing, the entire session was uncomfortable and stressful. To make matters worse, after the massage she became rude and visibly upset because she didn't like the tip I left. A tip is supposed to reflect the service received, and unfortunately the service was not good. Professionalism should never depend on the amount of a tip. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. I would not recommend this place and will definitely never return. Never again.

When I called Lan Spa she said Yes ~ they did accept that gift card so I scheduled a 90 min massage. I arrived early at 1:50 and was taken to the room. The massage therapist entered at precisely 12:56 and started the massage. The massage was very very good, I was pleased and planned to tip well for great service. However, as I lay on my stomach he leaned from my right side to my left and lightly pressed his groin on my hand. I immediately flattened my hand as I was a bit shocked and not certain what that was. He then moved to the other side and reached over and he did it once again. I felt violated and suddenly wide awake after that incident. At the end of the massage he stopped and abruptly left the room saying "90 minute massage over." Confused, I looked at the clock and sure enough, it was only 2:15. I was not pleased. At checkout I showed my gift card and he said " that not here". I informed him that the lady I spoke with over the phone stated they honored it. When she came out she said NO, she thought I meant their business gift card. I was a bit perturbed but chalked it up as an error in communication (that is being nice about this). Then I told them both the massage ended 15 minutes early and she stated I walked in at 1:50. I was floored --- EVEN if they timed it when I walked in, it was still less than 90 minutes. A massage timing begins when the massage therapist starts the massage ~ ON TIME. I kept my cool and only tipped him $10 due to that very fact. He looked at the receipt and stated "$10 for 90 minutes" in distain. UNREAL AND RUDE! I started to tell him that was for shorting my time but didn't even waste my time with this UNPROFESSIONAL human. I am a very good tipper and he really should have been glad I tipped him AT ALL and didn't go straight to the police to report the violation. I also read the other poor reviews and this was the same guy in the baseball cap that another customer complained about. They will never get my business again. Shame on him. Horrible customer service.
