When the women of my family come for a "Chicks on a Trip" visit, I'll bring them to Exclusively Irish for a decidedly different sort of souvenir shopping.
From the artisan crafted pieces of Viking chess sets, to floor length hand-knitted Arran jumpers to hand-thrown pottery and tiny but artful busts of writers and their characters, there's plenty of unique ways to remember a trip to Ireland (or to give a fan of Irish culture right here in town). The shop feels a bit empty, but maybe they're going for artful minimalism like next-door Giles Norman Photography.
No Guinness artifacts or Georgian Door chocolates here. No "May The Road Rise To Meet You" tea towels, miniature thatch-roof cottages or turf incense. This is beautiful Irish artwork pulled together for serious shoppers (with generous budgets). read more
