She began chopping away on my hair, without a wash or even a slight spray to dampen My hair. Nope she used nothing, no Spray bottle. She didn't offer to wash my hair, My hair is very thick, I asked for it to be thinned out, as well. it is very thick. I couldn't get it to hold a curl. She began hacking away on my hair, without out water or shampoo. All Uneven cutting and it is sticking out everywhere. it Looked terrible, uneven, she was unprofessional and she just kept making excuses. I'd like a refund or a free cut. She said she was experienced, yet cutting someone hair without washing my hair, or without dampening it. When they closed I asked where she was headed next and followed her here, to her own place! It's super easy to get to, right on Main Street across from the Market. It's in a small room off to the side of the hair salon, it's perfect for one person at a time. There is a seat inside and one outside to wait. No issue really since you should totally just make an appointment with her ahead of time so you won't need to wait when you get there anyway. Shannon does mostly men cuts so far as I know, though I know she does cuts for women too. The reason I go to her is I like someone who knows how to do great fades and understands the difference between a 1 and a 1 1/2. I don't have a ton of hair but I like it well taken care of. Shannon does an epic job. She also offer beard trims and shaves. While I do not get shaved, I do maintain a beard and always book a beard trim after my haircut so I can get it all cleaned up. Shannon has a great hand with a straight razor and I always leave happy and with a great haircut. I would 100% recommend you give her a shot if you're looking for a great barber, shave, and fine detail work.
