I've witnessed complaints on Rob's treatment of his workers in the 6 years I've dealt with them because I've heard them express it. Also, if he doesn't like what you have to say about the vehicle he sold you, he becomes nasty. I got two cars from him. One year before the car could have gotten paid off, the frame had a tear and here's Rob talking about the car losing equity like ANY of this is my fault. The second vehicle he sold me was a recall which started have oil issues after 10 months. He collected $5,000 off the warranty only to replace it with another bad engine while I am still making payments. He is a crook and his salesman Dave conned me into believing he was gonna get me into another vehicle when he was not going to, says his boss Rob. Rob acts like he's right all the time. The truth is he sells you vehicles that have soooo many issues. I can't pay off his vehicles without throwing more money into it. To be nasty to me is one thing but to be nasty to my son for asking a friggin question was NOT necessary when my 15 yo son has SPECIAL needs. He needs to be called out on his busines. Rob thinks he's better than everyone. He sells junk and collects the warranty money to fix it right. He used to be trustworthy until he lost the Amco transmission franchise. Now he has Excellent auto. He sells junk and collects on the warranty work. I have bought from him before he started Excellent auto. I refuse to buy his garbage now. This is the 2nd vehicle that I bought from him that I had to put thousands of dollars into before it's even paid off. The day that I picked up my last vehicle it had a blown break line and when Rob went to pull it in the garage the wheel fell off. His mechanic was to worried about going home that he never tighten the lugnuts. The same mechanic was having a bad day, and kicked a welder into my other vehicle that I bought from them and left a green strip on the back. I'm ready to get another vehicle, but I will not consider this place. Excellent auto is a joke and Rob is a consisted piece of trash that needs to treat his employees and customers better. read more

Drove the car off the lot, didn't even make it 5 minutes down the road before the engine went out, oil exploded everywhere, and the car began to smoke. DO NOT purchase a vehicle from these people. They exploit people that don't have a high enough credit score to go anywhere else, there's no asking price on any vehicle on the lot makes it convenient to get you in a car at their price depending on the customers desperation. I know a young mother that's stuck paying for the last 6 months (yes only six months she's had this vehicle) for a vehicle that's been in and out of the shop since the first week and hasn't had the vehicle the last 2 months (yes, 2 complete months out of the 6 she's had the vehicle, not including the past repairs) due to repairs. They've stated that they could not figure out what the problem was and have refused to replace the vehicle or even loan her a vehicle for the meantime so that she may get her kids to and from school and work so that she isn't late on any of the payments for an inoperable vehicle that Excellent Autos has sold her. I have a SUV that was in an accident. The front driver sides upper fender, bumper and light were see able results of the accident. I went through the others persons insurance. The garage fixed the initial approved items and then replaced the catalytic converter as the car was running loud. Rob at the garage did not get approval prior to doing so from the insurance assessor and then would not release the car after it was completed on Monday 11/5/18 until he was paid. The insurance company has asked for documents to see if it can be approved under the claim which they still have not received as of today, 11/8/18, and I still can not get the car. The car should be released as it is the garages fault for repairing an item prior to the insurance assessors approval. At this point I will need to pair for the repair or remain without a car until this is resolved. You have been warned. read more

I have had the car 2 months now. First I want to say I love the car. Kia is a nicely built car. Now about Excellent motors not so good. The salesman is very good at what he does. He does not lie but he leads to believe things that are not necessarily the truth. He led me to believe that the car had been gone over with a fine tooth comb and was in good condition. The next day I discovered the driver side door lock did not work, the windshield washer did not work and there was no hood release. They fixed the windshield washer and door lock but the following day the door lock still did now work so I took it and had that fixed myself. I am still waiting for the hook release to be fixed. They said the car was checked out and oil was changed. If that was the case how come they did now know there was no hood release? They also never checked the VIN for recalls. There is 2 recalls on the car that have not been taken care of so I have to sit in the dealership to have the recalls taken care of. The one bright spot was Valarie. She is very helpful and very well informed and knowledgeable about financing. She made it all so easy. Just listen to the salesman very carefully and ask a lot of question and check everything on your car before driving away. read more
