I called the dealership to purchase a truck and was told by Colby that the person (Tiffany) handling the sale of the truck I wanted was off Friday afternoon (3/13) and he asked for my name and phone # and said that Tiffany would call me before they opened Saturday morning (3/14) to arrange the sale. I offered to leave a deposit so I'd be sure to get the truck and Colby told that they don't accept deposits, but not to worry and the truck would not be sold before I spoke with Tiffany. So surprise, I never received the call as promised and when I called at 9:00 a.m. Saturday (as soon as the dealership opened) I inquired about the truck and was told it was sold Friday night!! Whoever I spoke with Saturday morning said the dealership has a first come ~ first served policy, did not apologize, and was rude as well. I live 3.5 hours away and she said "Well at least you didn't get a call when you were 2 hours down the road telling you we sold the truck because somebody came in before you got here" The truth is, this dealership would not have even had the courtesy to call me and would have let me drive all the way there from New Hampshire before giving me the bad news. I have my own business and this is not how customers/clients deserve to be treated :( %$3*!=+^*

Had an issue with my Torque Converter on my 2015 Corvette. Went thru the GM recommended 'triple…read moreflush' while down in Florida in 2018. There are TSB's about this issue on the A8 transmissions. Seemed to solve the problem back then. Here now 2020 and 4 months past the drive train warranty and its starts to shudder again. I'm thinking this is going to cost me a fortune even if GM covers part of it as 'good faith' dropped it off this morning at Mangino Service in Amsterdam. Well Mike Coffey Jr and the team figured out there was another newer TSB calling for an improved Mobil oil that seemed to solve this problem. They verified with the Florida dealer what oil they used and realized there was a better oil out there. Picked the car up this afternoon, shifts smoother then ever before, here's the keys, no charge. Great doing business with both Mangino dealerships as the GMC Buick folks scheduled the appointment with the Chevrolet folks. Thanks Kat. Jim Alonzo

(and believe it or not--was charged for repairs they caused from previous work). Coincidence? When we left it with them last time they didn't return our calls trying to keep apprised of the status after a 2 week wait. We always had to call and when we finally got the service manager on the phone day 8 he said they hadn't looked at it to diagnose it yet! Received it back the 5th and last time and yes-- another repair needed immediately. It was confirmed by a few other garages that the last repair they did definitely was caused by their improper repair the previous time. Dominoes effect! Never going back & never buying another General Motors car. This advice--from 3 shop pro mechanics & 2 other car dealers. If you want a safe vehicle and good service, and a vehicle that works, look elsewhere.
