Unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Therapists are inexperienced and not knowledgeable. Woman at the front desk was rude and offended when I simply told her the correct way to pronounce my foreign name. Everyone mispronounces my name so I am never offended when it happens, but she was offended to be politely corrected. I had to switch physical therapists twice, then just quit using their services. I received better physical therapy from a personal trainer at the gym I go to. I went to Excel for rotator cuff tendonitis, and the therapist insisted that I immediately after being injured start doing intense therapy everyday multiple times a day. And the therapist would be annoyed when I would tell her that I had not been doing the exercises multiple times a day everyday. She obviously had never experienced tendonitis before, because when you overwork the body part it just causes more inflammation. If she knew what she was doing she would have directed me to ease into the physical therapy instead of diving into it and further injuring myself. The second therapist I saw for my tendonitis, didnt even address my tendonitis. She spent my whole visit that I payed for observing my posture and telling me that basically my entire skeletal structure was out of wack and some how that is related the the roator cuff tendonitis. She wasted my time and money. read more
