Let's just say that Ray cares about his customers as much as he does the job he gets done…read more Sometimes people over-promise and under-deliver (which is just the worst). And businesses often under-promise and over-deliver (which is rare, and oftentimes a selling point). Well, Ray over-promised and over-delivered (is that even possible?) Our water heater was in its last days and I could tell it was going downhill fast. It was a Thursday evening and I was losing hope that I'd get someone before the weekend hit. Well, Ray to the rescue. He responded via Yelp Thursday night letting me know to give him a call first thing Friday. Well, I did. And Ray walked me through step by step what it's going to look like and that he can come in Friday afternoon to get the water heater replaced. He answered all my questions BEFORE the job, made sure I knew everything I was going to purchase BEFORE he purchased it all. I was in the know and he did not try to sell me anything else I didn't need -- which I always appreciate. In fact, he went the extra mile to offer me different pricings and options for the water heater and its parts so I can pick for myself. He gave his two cents about the parts and the water heater AFTER I asked him about the difference, and not just rambling about his opinions trying to sell us the most expensive ones. Then, he came as promised right around noon and went right to fixing our mess. Got it done in a matter of few hours making it look awesome. Oh, but Ray isn't done after the installation and fix. He made sure to go over every little thing he did so that I wasn't left confused about anything. And he documented it all so I have it for my records. Then, he leaves saying I can let him know if I notice any further problems with it so he can make sure to tidy it up, not that I think I'll need it because he already did an awesome job for us. The job cost us right around what we thought it would cost us and that's always a good thing. A nice cherry on top is that Ray is very personable and is pleasant to talk with and is a people person. Might I add that he had a great attitude--not the kind of attitude that appears he's in it for the money. Nope. That's always the type of person we enjoy doing business with. Thanks, Ray! We will be contacting you if we need any other jobs fixed or looked at!

He was very courteous. A nice guy! The tech, Reed came to my house, performed the inspection and required service. Another nice guy! Reed replaced the engine oil & filter, air-filter and 2 spark plugs. He tested the battery and cleaned the entire unit, inside & out. He inspected all wiring, including service box and gas lines for potential leaks. Looks and performs as brand new. Reed and Ian went above and beyond what I expected. I will be calling Universal Electric soon to add wall outlets and lighting fixtures for my garage man-cave & attic. Very professional and responsive company. My grade: A+++
