I asked them about shutters and they immediately shut me down saying they were too expensive. When I contacted HWB, Bryan responded right away and came out. I was having a lot of work done at the house when he came but he was patient and took his time showing me options and making recommendations. When I asked about shutters he explained the pros and cons and had actual samples ao I could see how they would look on my windows. He took measurements of all the windows and advised me what would and would not work. Bryan was personable and knowledgeable. He was patient as we weighed our options and answered our emailed questions quickly. The prices were reasonable and he gave me hope when we found out many of our windows were now super shallow. The installer came on time, was efficient and super nice. They explained how to care for the shutters and that they had a life time warranty. I am so happy with this purchase and recommend this company.

Kim Van Wieren came out to do my in-home estimate, and he brought a massive amount of samples to look through. After coordinating with my sister who lives overseas, we settled on a colour and amount of transparency. Once the shades were ready, Kim came back out and did the installation. I could not be happier with the quality and the overall look. Switching from the old dated plastic miniblinds to modern shades made the room really come alive. Somehow one of windows was a different shade, the valances weren't what was described, and we didn't like how they looked (personal opinion) but others liked them. They did everything within their power to satisfy us as their customers. They contacted the manufacturer to correct the issues that were pointed out and did it without any animosity. Rich owned the misinformation given to me and that's powerful. This could have been a 2 star review, just because of all of the things that "went wrong". I understand not every transaction will go smoothly, which happened to be mine, but the way they handled everything was Chik-fil-a top tier, lol. I am disabled, dealing with significant stress already -- and Jason's aggressive behavior and refusal to take accountability made the situation worse.
