My raw images are pretty close to immaculate... -- Gets the job done, would be an understatement in all of my experience in hiring photographers. Andy has an amazing eye! He sees creative expressions & pays attention to details, such as color combinations between wardrobe & background/backdrop -- Once he brings his vision to life from his perspective behind the lens, it all starts to make sense & I saw how much of my natural personality was captured in real time. I am completely impressed with how my images turned out & also, I am totally comfortable with his dressing room space. I believe half the reason my smile was so vibrant was in part to the fact that Andy was patient & has a very professional set up for his models to feel in their element -- everything from candy to water to space to style wardrobe comfortably... and also good playlist, wasnt distracting. It also helped that Andy didnt mind me having a chaperone -- overall good vibes!! Andy is busy and you must make your appointment with his given busy schedule, so there is limited availability on dates & times, but he was able to work with me, as needed. He is extremely accomodating & I would recommend Andy to anyone looking to step up the quality of their acting headshots in such a competitive region. I needed a business headshot for my new position at work. I was overdue, during Covid, for a haircut and was able to make an appointment in advance. Following the hair appointment, I decided to call several local photo studios to see if they could take a photo head shot, the same afternoon. I called Exact Digital and left a phone message. I then called another photo studio. She offered to photograph at my home after picking up her daughter and was 4X the cost. She was helpful in giving several other photographers' contact information. Then I received a text message from Exact Digital requesting an email address to send scheduling information. I sent my email address and Andy called and graciously offered to photograph within the next closing hour. Thirty minutes later, I arrived with two ensembles, and he agreed to shoot both outfits. His front room was the shooting studio with a private changing room off to the side. He took at least 50 pictures, orchestrating different poses with the late afternoon daylight. He used different backdrops, angles of the camera and pleasantly talked about his business. That night he sent the photos in a 3-month live LINK. I then selected 10 favorites with a plan for several to be touched up. Andy's service and talent was impeccable. I plan to recommend Exact Digital to family, friends and business colleagues. This is my second shoot with Andy (my first was Aug 2018) after having an awesome experience during my first shoot. He is incredibly responsive and helpful with resources to help you prep for your shoot and plan your looks depending on the type of roles you are hoping to book. He is friendly and collaborative during the shoot to try to give you a variety of expressions per look so you have a tremendous amount of options. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the interactions between him, you, and your selected makeup artist are easy, fun, and super collaborative with Andy showing you shots after each look to ensure you are happy. I felt completely safe on set with distancing/sanitizing/air purifiers/etc. This was so important to keep all parties safe during COVID and I felt completely at ease during my shoot that precautions were being taken to ensure my safety and allow me to have the best shoot possible. After I got my photos back, I was thrilled. I have so many great options to pick from. The hard part was choosing my favorites for retouching/printing. Andy is amazing! I can't say enough good things about him as a professional and the quality of his work. Yesterday, Andy took my headshots and we had an amazing session. My agent is seriously going to have a ton of good shots to choose from. I went there not really knowing much about Andy except that my agent and a few other industry contacts had referred me and I was told that Andy has a unique way of getting the shot and that I would be happy with the end result. That's exactly what I experienced. Once I arrived, Andy was all set up and ready to go, showing me my own large and comfortable dressing room and my own restroom. His entire studio (rooms and outdoor areas) is extremely versatile and can fit any look and feel you need as an actor to make your shots unique and so that they stand out to casting when they're going through submissions. The most important thing to me going in was hoping that I would be comfortable and that Andy would bring out sides of me that define who I really am. It was super easy and natural feeling to shoot with him. He brought everything out of me and I never felt I had to dig for it. Not once. After booking Laundromat, one of the biggest projects in my career, my manager was very clear about the necessity of my updating my headshots. We all know that headshots are more important than we usually imagine them to be. Especially if you are serious about your long term commitment to your acting craft. In my case, the biggest challenge was to find someone who could understand not only my looks but also create an easy creative flow and inspire me to feel comfortable playing with different looks while always staying true to my own personality. So a lot of you actors are trying to decide which photographer to pick for your pictures well might as will be really simple this guy is the best because 98 percent of The Actors that he shoots book commercials and guest stars and costars on the first five months if you have everything your agents want and his pictures there's no way in heaven you wont audition I have gotten over 10 auditions in one month he's the best photographer I have ever met in my entire life he's the best and I wish I could give him 10 stars. BE SMART AND GET THIS GUY! seriously person reading this. stop searching and hire him now! he will change your career. If I ever win an Oscar everybody will know why I got it because of my agents and because of his pictures. These were the best head shots I've had hands down in years. Andy is amazing. He is masterful with light and color and composition. He is a painter and an artist and it shows. His sense of color and suggestions for combos of clothes and backgrounds blew me away. He understands actors and helps you to think about things while you're shooting by talking and giving you ideas and prompts, so there's a lot going on in your face. The shots are very alive and not stagnant which head shots often are. The pictures look just like me which you'd think was status quo but it's not. I have had so many head shot photographers take pictures of me that don't look like me. He totally captured my essence. Andy did a great job working with me, I wanted to get professional pictures done for my business and didn't want the typical suit, sit to the side with a dark background, I've never liked those for myself and that wasn't me. So I looked up everyone I could find and found Andy. I liked the colors and how friendly everyone looked in his photos, it wasn't the traditional (to me) boring photos. His studio is based out of his home in Long Beach, but it's a great setup and he gave me multiple options to choose from lighting, color, style and poses. If you're like me, and getting your headshots done is something you just dread, Andy is the guy for you. Every time I've gotten headshots done, I've been up tight and uncomfortable, and I think it showed in the photos. But with Andy, all that anxiety of wondering if they were going to look good went out the window. I can't say enough great stuff about this experience! I've wanted to work with Andy for over a year, and when I contacted him, he was able to squeeze me in last minute within the week. A process I usually hate to go through but my agent told me that she had really great feedback from her other clients about Andy, and she really like the shots she was seeing.
