I ventured into Exlibris Prints one afternoon in hope of buying a present for my mother. It seemed like one of those stores where she would love everything and so it became my mission to find something I could afford for her birthday. I'm not sure when it happened but a few minutes into the visit, I realised that I had completely lost myself there.
There's something so magical about this store that it feels like you're stepping into a different world. Actually I felt like I was in an old collector's home and I was her guest.
The staff are polite, not pushy and will leave you to wander through the store which carries a wide range of products. Think the likes of the stationery, soaps, home wares, crockery and soft furnishings. I fell in love with three printed panels depicting a gigantic fork, spoon and a knife but realise there really isn't space in my home for it.
It also carries a large selection of decorative glassware and delicate porcelain candles - which have a sign saying not to touch clearly marked. Other interesting items include 100 percent cotton table cloths, deliciously fragrant body products, illustrated agendas and diaries and votive lights. read more
