Quincy was so awesome and helpful! He has amazing customer service skills and made our experience super fun. You can't visit Solvang without stopping by to rent an electric vehicle. Renting a Moke was the highlight of my trip in Solvang!

Beautiful Moke to cruise around Solvang in. The best customer service ever. If you're in Solvang and looking for a fun way to sight see, I highly recommend EVXP Rentals.

What a fantastic idea, driving little cars around solving. They can fit up to 4 ppl and go around 35 miles per hour. You can cruise around and connect your phone to the Bluetooth and bump out while driving. We drove to the mission and did the tour, fabulous experience.

My electrical vehicle experience (aka EVXP) was an incredible experience! Reservations were possible via a call or text, payment was easy online. We needed a 5 seater vehicle and they were able to accommodate for our party. We arrived to check-in and it effortless! We had some issues with the battery of our vehicle, but staff was quick to meet our needs and ended up giving us two four seaters when our original vehicle had battery troubles. We were able to explore the city of Solvang in the vehicle in style. Very easy to drive, built with Bluetooth and cushioned seats. Definitely recommend for all to try!

Moke Experience was one of the highlights during my Solvang trip, I'm so happy I found them here on Yelp! My family and I arrived on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and they were able to get us an eMoke pretty quick. I didn't know the name of the gentleman that helped us but after reading some of the other reviews here I'm pretty sure it was Quincy that assisted us. He has such a joyful personality, made us all feel so welcome and had some funny jokes to tell! Quincy went over the map of Solvang with us, making sure to point out some good spots to check out and also good areas for nice pictures to take. I really appreciate that they wanted to make sure we had a good experience and got the most out of our time with the eMoke. We ended up paying $50 for an hour. Initially we had been wanting an hour and a half because we weren't sure how long it would take to travel around Solvang and see all the sights. Honestly, an hour is more than enough time to enjoy, the town is actually quite small so you're able to drive around a few times within an hour time span. We also had enough time to stop at a couple places and take pictures too! We'll definitely be back to Moke Experience when we visit Solvang again in the future. Thank you to Quincy and the staff for ensuring we had a good time!

Talk about FUN!! The kids and I were walking around town when we saw the Mokes. We were very intrigued as you see other people driving them and have loads of fun. Listening to music and laughing. Having a great time. I told the kids to go to the hotel and drop everything off to our room and I'll get a Moke. The Owner is super nice and funny. I learned alot about what Mokes are and how they were actually used within the British Army. I rented one for approx. $50 an hour. Great price for great fun! They are electric and so easy to drive. This is an experience you CANNOT miss. You are guaranteed to have fun. Nice alternative to drive within the small town than walking everywhere when it is a but warm. Give it a go, I guarantee you will not regret it!

Cars work really well, price is right, interior and exterior was very clean and maintained, & the attendant at the front was very nice!

PRETTY IN PINK! Had a blast driving around, blasting music around town! Must do in Solvang, perfect bachelorette activity!

Car was the perfect shade of pink! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend when in Solvang!!

I rented one of these for my sons birthday and it was so much fun. He had a great time exploring Solvang- they are dog friendly, so we were able to take our golden, which just made it that much better. You're able to park and explore while you have the moke, which is great because its easier to park around town. We made the reservation ahead of time but they allow you to walk up and reserve as well. They were all decorated for Christmas which was super cute. The staff was helpful, friendly, and really made my sons birthday special. We would definitely rent again.

Totally enjoyed our EVXP Moke experience!!!

One of the best things to do In Solvang! We called in the afternoon on Fourth of July and were told that they had a slot open at 5pm. Quincy the owner met us and after going through the required paperwork, introduced us to the yellow Moke (like smoke without the S) electric vehicle. As we rolled out for our hour ride, we blasted some Hawaiian Reggae tunes out of the Bluetooth speakers and enjoyed rolling through Solvang, waving at pedestrians headed to the mission for the fireworks. It was such a fun way to enjoy the California sunset. Great tunes, the fam, fresh air, the top down. One of the best memories made with this one. It was also fun honking and waving at fellow Moke drivers. We'd totally do this again but hope to find other EVXP experiences in other cities real soon!

Moke Experience made our trip to Solvang worth the drive. We were pretty shocked at how reasonable the prices were and staff were committed to helping us find a vehicle in pink that i was dying to drive. Unfortunately, I had to settle for white but i appreciated the effort they put into it. My husband had mentioned that we were in town for my birthday and one of the employees gave me a bday card! It was such a sweet touch. Keep in mind that the town is rather small so we were surprised that we had driven through the entire downtown area rather quickly so we decided to pull over and explore some of the shops. Do yourself a favor and rent one of these babies out. It'll make the experience that much better.

We had an absolute blast using MyEXVP today while exploring Solvang!!! They have the cutest, coolest, easy to drive small electric vehicles! The customer service was equally as great!! I highly recommend using MyEVXP to help enhance your day in Solvang...you won't regret it!!

Solvang by itself is an amazing and beautiful place to hang, but getting a EVXP takes your Solvang experience to the next level. We'll maintained and clean vehicles to cruise around town is the thing to do. Your map includes discounts to various shops as well. Many different colors to chose from so we picked the pink one. I would recommend in a sunny day to get the tarp on for added shade for your cruise. The paperwork process is easy and quick so you can start your ride.

Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the more disappointing parts of the trip. The seating is tightly packed. I understand maximizing capacity, but at 6'6" it was not comfortable. We moved to the front right side where there is a sideways bench behind the driver, which offered more legroom. That felt like a smart move until we realized most of the sights being pointed out were on the left side of the trolley. It felt like about 80 percent of the tour was oriented that direction, which meant we were constantly twisting around and still missing details. If you book this tour, sit on the left side. The narration also felt disorganized. The driver mentioned he was reading the traffic flow incorrectly and ended up doing much of the route "backwards." Because of that, he would introduce a historical figure or landmark, then later circle back and partially repeat the same information when reaching his usual talking point. There was noticeable repetition and filler instead of a smooth, cohesive storyline. Midway through the tour, there is a stop at Mission Santa Barbara for about 15 minutes. While it is nice to get off and stretch your legs, 15 minutes is nowhere near enough time to meaningfully experience the mission. You can walk through the courtyard and take a few photos, but that is about it. The mission deserves more time than a quick pass through. In practice, the stop felt more like a checkbox than a real opportunity to explore. Another frustration was departure time. The 2:00 p.m. tour did not leave at 2:00. The driver waited past the scheduled time to see if additional passengers would join. When you are visiting from out of town and carefully stacking your schedule, those extra 10 to 15 minutes matter. Overall, for about $30 per person, I expected a more polished and better organized experience. We both left disappointed. If you want a meaningful introduction to Santa Barbara, you may be better off exploring key spots on your own at your own pace.

This year, we finally made it happen--and it was everything we hoped for and more. After searching Yelp for nearby stables, this ranch stood out with the best reviews by far, (now I see why), so our hopes were high. I'm so glad we decided to trust the reviews and drive the extra 15-20 minutes to this place. I was tempted by the value of the half-day ride, but since it had been several years since either of us had been on horseback, we decided to go conservative and chose the 1.5-hour trail ride instead. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jack, who checked us in and handled the paperwork. He was funny, friendly, and efficient--such a great start to the experience. I grew up riding English, with all the rules drilled into me from childhood, so being told (for only the second time in my life!) that I didn't have to wear a helmet felt almost rebellious. Yes, I know safety matters, and yes, my daughter was smart enough to wear one--but I have to admit, it felt wonderfully freeing. Russell was fantastic as well. Our horses were fully tacked and waiting, ready for us to hop on. As someone accustomed to doing much of the prep work myself, it felt strange--and a bit indulgent--to have mounting steps and a completely ready-to-go horse. My old riding instructors would be ashamed and shaking their heads at me. Though I felt a little "spoonfed," I know this is a huge perk for beginners or anyone unfamiliar with horses. Personally, I would've enjoyed grooming or prepping my horse, but that's not the norm for organized trail rides like this. After the ride, Russell was right there to help us dismount, cracking jokes and keeping us laughing the whole time. I had to laugh when he said, "You're just like me--good looking and short on legs!" Our trail guide, Elrich (Elrick?6, was excellent. Our group was small--just my daughter and me, plus one other couple. My daughter and I are both experienced English riders, while the other couple had never ridden before. Elrich struck the perfect balance, giving the beginners enough guidance without making the ride dull for the rest of us. While I always love a bit more trotting and cantering, I know that's not typical for these types of outings, and honestly, I had an absolute blast just being on a horse again. I've missed it so much. My daughter and I are already planning to return next year for the 2.5-hour ride. The trail itself? Absolutely breathtaking. I've been riding since childhood--now over 60--and have been on countless trail rides. This is, truly the most beautiful trail I've ever experienced. Waterfalls, streams, a few ocean views and stunning mountain scenery... it was spectacular from start to finish. If you're choosing between this ranch and nearby stables, I highly recommend trying this one first. You won't be disappointed, It's a wonderful experience, a gorgeous trail, and a fantastic way to spend the day.

He loves what he does, is very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to and shared a lot of nice stories about the outdoors. He is definitely an asset to Circle Bar Stables. For anyone booking try to go on his tour!! The nice gentleman that answers the phones is very sweet, I had to call several times to change my tour and he was so helpful I can tell he has been with the Stables a long time and loves being there. When I arrived I was the only one and he told me to go walk around while I was waiting I guess he read my mind. I had to take off 2 stars because of the Gentleman from Texas that works there. He honestly seems like he hates his job, he asked me several times if I was on a horse before and I told him give me any horse I'll be fine. He chose AXE and while he was bringing him over to me AXE was being a little stubborn and didn't want to come not because he didn't go on the trail but he was uncomfortable with the Texan. What bothered me most was he said "AXE STOP BEING A JERK" which made me really upset and uncomfortable. I don't like it when people wok with animals and call them derogatory names.

Best decision ever! Although getting to the meeting point was a bit scary as we drove 15 mph through winding roads next to steep cliffs, the views were nice and the ATV experience was totally worth it! We gave ourselves plenty of time to get lost and it took us about 1.5 hours to get to the checkpoint. Luckily Google Maps was on the entire time and we even had an hour to kill on top of the mountain before our 12:30pm appointment. (Also had screenshots of the directions in case we lost service). Upon arrival, we met with the two girls who were wearing face masks and face shields so we felt safe. They had all the sanitizing stuff. They checked us all in, gave us each a mesh covering for our head, pairs of gloves, goggles and helmets. They offered different insurance plans (just like a rental car company), each ranging in price. Then, they walked us over to the ATVs where Jorge was our tour guide. He asked us if we've ever rode before and taught us how to use the automatic ATVs and made us feel comfortable and safe. (Throttle was on the right handle bar and brakes on the left. Second brake was a foot pedal). We drove on wide and narrow trails, over some fun rocky areas, kicking up lots of dust, and he took photos of us the entire time. This was a great family bonding experience and we're all still talking about how fun it was and want to do it again. Know Before You Go: It gets dusty so wear clothes and closed toe shoes that you're ok getting dirty. Give yourself plenty of time to drive to the location because the last thing you want to do is rush through the scary mountain roads. 10/10 would definitely do this again!
