I met Dr. Titus because I broke my two front teeth in a bicycle accident (and he was a recommendation from a family member)... I accidentally broke my teeth in a freak bicycle accident and after much contemplation following the accident, we decided late in the evening that we would call dentists, instead of emergency rooms. No one was available, but when we called Dr. Titus, he responded quickly and spent four hours working with me, fixing my lost teeth (in office). Needless to say, he took care of a lot more than teeth that night. I continued to see Dr. Titus, and he takes time to talk to you. He genuinely cares about his patients. I'm a teacher, so I understand the importance of patience in working with others and Dr. Titus has all of it. He can answer any question you might have, because he's qualified and intelligent. After a few months of being his patient, I definitely trust him to be my reliable dentist from now on! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

After going to Macha Family Eye Care for many years, I have left this practice. Something has…read morehappened to this organization that is not acceptable. Long story short, it took me nearly 6 months to get my glasses due to many marking and remeasuring corrections to get my progressive lens located properly within my frame. After being sick and tired of becoming a permanent resident due to returning weekly complaining I can't see out of my glasses (of which cost $600 out of my own pocket) I gave up. I went to Heartland Vision and paid an additional ($430 out of pocket) to finally have my issue solved within 1 visit! Wow! My glasses came back in 3 days with Heartland! Each time Macha sent my glasses back for corrections it took 2 weeks ! What is more unsettling, is that with each visit to Macha there seemed to be MANY customers with the same problem I was having! Even more perplexing, while at Heartland, I overheard one of the assistance giving a patient chart to the Eye doctor saying, "This patient is returning to us after going to Dr. Macha". Happily, I can report that I am NOT nuts after all! It wasn't just me having issues with Macha! Don't go to Macha Family Eye Care. The people are nice; however, nice doesn't cut it when you are talking about your eye health. In addition, when being re-examined at Heartland, I was diagnosed with glaucoma and sent to a specialist for immediate treatment. How was this missed just 7 months earlier at Macha's? Go to HEARTLAND VISION! The people are nice and professional and Dr. Hittenger is a plethora of information and demonstrates an enthusiasm for his profession that exceeded my expectations!!

So I met Dr. Sherry and it was the most complete and amazing ear exam I have ever had! I was tested with and without the aids and at each step adjustments were made to tweak my aids so I could get maximum benefit. I was treated with kindness and respect and everything was explained each step of the way. She took my current hearing aids and adjusted them to match my hearing and I am hearing better than I have in such a long time! In fact, it's one of the first things my wife realized. I can actually hear a whisper now! It seems so natural and even. I also know what my next step will be - it was all explained so well. It was refreshing to know that they service many different hearing aids and are not tied to one brand and pushing that. We went to Eileen R. Raywood, DDS, PC in Muncie, IN to get my daughter's braces. They had a few…read moreoptions for paying. We decided to go with paying all of it up front as it was going to be a two year process and I didn't have job security. That way if anything unfortunate happened the braces would be taken care of. They gave us an estimate of the total cost, my portion and the insurance's. However, I thought it stopped being an estimate when we payed them and they said that was all we owed. I was under the impression that the insurance had paid its share and the balance was covered. So six months later when I did lose my job it was a surprise to receive a bill from Raywood. Called to find out why and they explained that the insurance never pays it all upfront (not sure, other high cost long term services they have) and that I should have known that Raywood isn't going to eat the cost. I didn't know there was cost left to eat! Turns out I owe them several hundred more, some what undermining the reason for paying upfront. To be clear, I am mad about their handling of the billing, their explanation of how things would be billed and their customer service for the unexpected bill. As far as their orthodontic service they have been good. They could have explained how the insurance would pay out or at least have something in the paperwork about it. After all two years is a long time to think nothing is going to go wrong.

My Father was a long time customer and trusted Chuck and staff for many years. They provide full service hearing aid needs from new, to rebuilt and will repair purchases at no cost. They even have an ear wax removal service. The kindness and care the staff had shown my late Father was genuine. He was like family to them and became close friends with Chuck.
