For unforeseen personal circumstances I had to cancel my membership, not even 18 hours after I had signed up. Sent them an email explaining I had to cancel for now but hopefully will resume in the future. And they are charging me $150 cancellation fee. No sympathy to personal circumstances, just claiming it's for administrative purposes. I can understand if they have already processed my application, or have offered me some of their services, but none of that had happened. I had literally signed up around 3pm on a Tuesday and emailed them about cancellation at 8am on Wednesday. They've been so difficult to deal with, kept repeating the fact that they have a $150 cancellation fee without any empathy or rationale for the fee. It is quiet shocking to experience this level of customer service in today's society when customer service is crucial to a business reputation. But they seem to not care. I would stay away!

Dr. Kachko has been my naturopathic physician for five years. Aside from his very impressive knowledge, you'll not find a kinder, more devoted and genuinely caring doctor. He's helped me immeasurably throughout the years. It's not for nothing Dr, Kachko is beloved by his patients and so respected in his field (president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians). Some weeks ago, during my initial visit with Dr. Shapsis for a consultation, I decided right there and then I wanted him as my gastroenterologist. Impressed not only by his knowledge and acumen, I don't believe I've come across any medical doctor more thorough. Since that first visit, Dr. Shapsis has continued to demonstrate caring and genuine interest in helping me resolve my issues. On top of everything, because of those particular issues, Drs. Kachko and Shapsis confer with each other about my case, even occasionally meeting jointly with me. How's THAT for care and attention? Finally, you can count on a very personable, professional, responsive and efficient staff. The office itself is immaculate and comforting to visit. In short, five stars fall short!

Something I really appreciated was his transparency. He walked me through each step of the process and its case specific benefits for my migraine symptoms. I've suffered from knee pain on and off for over 10 years after a falling accident at 22. At the time, another doctor told me that physical therapy would be enough, but even after years of trying, the pain always returned. MRIs and X-rays never showed anything significant, yet I knew something was still wrong. Dr. Kang's combination of acupuncture and electro-therapy finally broke that cycle. For the first time in a decade, I am pain-free. Even more importantly, I now have the confidence to work out consistently without the fear of having to stop after just a few weeks when the pain flares up. What sets Dr. Kang apart is his holistic approach. He doesn't just treat symptoms, he looks at the body as a whole and gets to the root cause of issues. His warm and calming energy makes it easy to relax and open up about deeper health concerns. I also love that he is truly an "all-in-one" doctor: from weight loss strategies, and cupping, to spinal adjustments and even correcting my slightly uneven legs due to the fall. After just four weeks, I noticed huge improvements. Now, after about 10 consistent weekly sessions, I'm ready to shift gears and begin fertility-focused care as I move into the next stage of my life at 32. If you're tired of the typical Western medicine approach, prescriptions and referrals that never solve the problem, your search is over. I am truly myself again and I owe it all to Dr. Lana!…read more I first came to see Dr. Lana after I decided to go off birth control and spironolactone. I am 27, began leading a natural and holistic lifestyle and did not want to be on any medication anymore. Unfortunately, and unbeknownst to me, going off these medications was going to cause a state of pure chaos inside my body that would unleash problems that have been masked by my birth control for the last 14 years. I started experiencing extreme anxiety and depression mood swings. It was crippling. I was having panic attacks, crying for no reason and so depressed I could not leave my apartment. I then started breaking out with horrible cystic acne everywhere (which only added to my new, weird fragile emotional state). My periods were irregular, I was experiencing breast tenderness, painful intercourse, intense cramps and lower back pain, and I was sweating A LOT. Needless to say, I was freaking out. I did not feel like myself and had no idea what was going on. After many visits with both my gynecologist and dermatologist I had been offered no other options except going back on these two medications. I felt defeated. After many hours of research, I stopped believing that the acne was a topical issue and my severe PMS symptoms were "just what girls go through" and I came to the realization that these symptoms could all be connected because of something wrong inside my body. I wanted to find a doctor that would actually take time to listen to me and not give me a temporary solution to my problem. So my search for a doctor that was going to get to the root of my hormonal imbalance began. I found Dr. Lana and decided to make an appointment. I must also include that this was my first visit to a Naturopathic Doctor, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect and was a little doubtful but I remained hopeful. My first visit with Dr. Lana was amazing. Her office is literally an oasis in the city. She was inviting and created a calm environment for me to relax. She is extremely thorough and mapped out an extensive, comprehensive wellness plan that she is always updating during the course of treatment. The first month with her was difficult but very powerful for me. As I started to correct my body's imbalances, my symptoms were still present and I was also starting to experience heavy detox symptoms. I was overwhelmed, felt horrible and discouraged but Dr. Lana was always available for me and encouraged me to continue through the detox process. It was in this moment I realized how powerful naturopathic medicine is and how imbalanced by body was. I felt like these changes were going to make my body reach a kind of equilibrium that had been interrupted by synthetic hormones for so many years. I have been working with Dr. Lana now for 4 months and I can honestly say that I don't just feel like myself again, I feel like my best self ever! I truly mean this. All...literally ALL, of those symptoms I mentioned above are no longer present, my periods are regular and generally symptom free, and my skin is clear! Now that I have no active acne, Dr. Lana has made excellent facial and skin treatment recommendations for me to use to heal the leftover scarring and hyperpigmentation those breakouts left behind. Things keep getting better with each passing month and I couldn't be more thankful for her!!
