Both father and son were working with other customers so I waited until they were free. I got to see how they interacted with their customers and enjoyed seeing the business run well. They took the extra time to provide me with advice and I enjoyed the visit. Since they did not charge me for the time they spent and advice offered, my wife says I owe them coffee and donuts. I will use this garage in the future and recommend to my friends.

Misdiagnosis, Unauthorized Service, and Refusal to Adjust Bill !!!…read more I brought my vehicle in for a grinding noise that occurs when turning and gets louder under acceleration. Instead of diagnosing the actual issue, the shop told me the problem was the rear differential fluid. Rear differential fluid does not cause grinding during turns, and this service did not address the issue I came in for. I am the owner of the vehicle and did not authorize the repair. My boyfriend approved it without my consent, and when I explained this, the shop refused to adjust the bill or even mark the invoice as "paid under protest." I was charged $240 for a rear differential fluid service that normally costs $60- $90 and does not diagnose or fix the symptom I reported. After performing the incorrect service, the shop told me I still needed to go to Ford for a TSB diagnostic -- meaning they did not actually diagnose the problem. I am now out the money for this service, plus the cost of Ford's inspection, and still have the original grinding issue. I asked for a reasonable adjustment due to misdiagnosis and lack of authorization, and the owner/manager refused. This experience left me paying for a service that did not resolve anything and was not the correct procedure for the issue I brought the vehicle in for.

I was told by Shelby (who works there at the front counter) that it was going to cost $1007.27 to fix my car and that would allow me to have AC and Heat and directional airflow. after they worked on it and before payment was given over the phone, I was told by Shelby, yes it has AC yes it has Heat and yes the directional airflow was fixed. I paid the bill and when I picked up my car after work that day, I had AC and directional airflow, however I had no Heat. they asked me to bring it back in and then tell me, it's another issue for my Heat that's going to cost me another $1000 and because the mechanic I was talking to is the fiancé (Chris) of Shelbys, Chris says I never asked to get my Heat fixed and I'm basically screwed. stay away from these crooks!! if they were upfront and honest with me, I never would have paid $1007.27 to fix 2/3 of my cars problems. scammers and Liars!

Within days of the service, I experienced a complete failure of my digital cluster and other electronics. After weeks of diagnostic work, battery replacements, and back-and-forth between them and Bootmod3, I was left stuck in a frustrating finger-pointing loop. The owner Andrew insisted it was "impossible" for a bench unlock to affect other systems, dismissing the idea that improper removal and reinstalling could have damaged anything, despite clear evidence to the contrary. In the end, I had to purchase an entirely new digital cluster and hire an independent BMW programmer, who confirmed the original unit's screen was electrically fried and new one required reprogramming to my vehicle. Tuning Dynamics refused to accept any responsibility or offer a solution beyond deflecting blame. While they may be competent with mechanical work, I absolutely would not trust them with anything related to electronics or tuning, not even a "simple" DME unlock. Proceed with caution.

I was greeted by Kwon who is a fantastic gentleman, and he guided me through the process of getting a post purchase inspection. After receiving my diagnosis, I decided to do one repair, and they fixed my car right up. And Mike informed me of things to be aware of. Great customer service! My only gripe and it's such a pet peeve of mine when going to Independent Shops, is the lack of grounds-keeping. Immediately after leaving the shop I hear the dreaded sound of a nail in my tire, and immediately became so frustrated that I was ready to forget the incredible service up until then. The lack of professionalism to leave loose nails around is a killer, and you definitely wouldn't run into that problem when at a BMW dealership. When oversight like this happens, it makes you wonder if other careless mistakes are made when working on the vehicle. I'm not saying that is the case, but you can't help but wonder.

You may…read morehave a great experience the first time you go and even the second time but sometimes on the 3rd or 4th visit, the great service you originally had goes downhill--that is not the case with this shop. I've been here several times for various things from an oil change to installing new motor mounts and each time I come in, the service is just as good as the first time I was here. I'm not from Florida, we moved down here from NYC so I had not owned a car in well over a decade. I bought a used one and then brought it in to Honest-1 Auto for an inspection to see if there was anything major wrong with it. The first person I dealt with was Willie Vazquez, the General Manager. I spoke to him over the phone, he got me in right away. I should've brought the car in before I purchased it, luckily there wasn't anything majorly wrong with it but I didn't know that. If Willie were dishonest, he could've said there was something wrong with it and I probably would've gone ahead and paid to have it 'fixed' because I would not have known any better. I appreciate his honesty. I also met George Maajoun the Service Advisor. He's straightforward with prices and cost of labor etc. I've never gotten blindsided by a last minute extra charge or "added fees". My repairs always cost exactly what George tells me they will cost. I appreciate that. It's hard to budget for car repairs when the shop you're dealing with keeps upping the cost, that won't happen to you here. This shop is the most honest one I've ever been to! An honest auto repair shop is like a 'Rare White Elk', they exist but the chances of ever encountering one are slim. Happy to report you have a 'Rare White Elk' here in Carrollwood! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

When my dad went to drive off he realized Jorge cracked the exterior cover that goes in front of the windshield/wipers. Jorge said he would try to get him one from the junkyard. My dad said he wanted the one that matches his vehicle and when he looked it up he said no he couldn't get him a new one because of how much it cost and that my dad's vehicle was older so not worth it. My dad said can you at-least take $80 off my bill and he said no. He wouldn't take off more than $50 off. Ever since he did the job my dad's vehicle now leaks when it rains. That's just more to spend on another plastic/cover to be replaced and figure out why now it's leaking. Jorge did a great job with my dad's AC so he came back to him again.
