He never lost his cool even though it required multiple calls to my doctor's office. He was helpful, efficient, and thorough. And everyone who works here that I've encountered has been friendly. One of the ladies at the front desk of radiology was wonderfully proactive in checking when a technician could come and see me. Much appreciated. Biggest down side is if you park in the lot to the right of the hospital (near Renaissance Imaging), you have to walk a ways to get to the hospital entrance. And if you want validation, you may get a bit of a run around. To get my ticket validated, security referred me to Admin's front desk. Admin's front desk referred me to security and radiology to get it. When I went to radiology, they had to run to the front where security was because they ran out of validation stickers.

While I'm grateful for the medical treatment itself, the way I was treated by portions of the nursing staff was unacceptable. Throughout my stay, I felt ignored, talked down to, and treated with a complete lack of compassion and respect. Instead of feeling cared for during a vulnerable moment, I felt like I was an inconvenience. I also personally observed a member of the nursing staff asleep at the nurses' station while I was still a patient, which raised concerns about attentiveness and patient care. Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, professionalism, and empathy. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I have filed or am filing formal complaints with the appropriate hospital departments and regulatory agencies so these concerns can be investigated. I sincerely hope the hospital takes these concerns seriously and works to improve how patients are treated.

Getting help from her or Katrina is like waiting in line at the DMV AKA YOU ARE ALWAYS WAITING. Katrina is their so called therapist who I wonder is even licensed. Her advice is underwhelming. I got more from my peers and facilitators than her. Also the care from Katrina and Crystal just feels very manipulative. They get mad at you when you don't do what they want and give you the silent treatment. They love to throw words around like "I care about you" "I love you" "this is a special place". Every time you ask something you get told "Sam said no" or "Let me talk to Sam first". Is Sam freaking god?! Oh and don't let you feel sick and ask to miss group! If you don't feel good they threaten you with going to the ER. You have headache? Go to the ER. A lot of things don't make sense here. There is a lot of special treatment to favorite house members. Also we caught staff members talking about us multiple times. All these people do is gossip around the house. I thank the staff and facilitators that helped me only.

Despite all of that effort, Lalita Davidoff never showed up. I waited in the office until 8:45 AM with no communication. She eventually called me, and based on the call, I highly doubt she was even in the office -- it sounded like she was at home. This was supposed to be my first appointment with her and she created an awful first impression. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe she had an emergency, so I agreed to take the call. Instead, she acted as if nothing was wrong and showed no acknowledgment of how unprofessional the situation was. The only reason I agreed to continue with a phone appointment was because it took weeks just to get this appointment, and I urgently needed care. Honestly, not being seen at all would have been better. I wasted hours of my time. She was extremely cold, dismissive, and immediately started talking about putting me on medication without doing a full evaluation. After researching the medication she prescribed, I realized how inappropriate it was to recommend something that strong without ever meeting me or conducting a proper assessment. It genuinely felt unsafe. I also truly believe that after I mentioned her tardiness, she became defensive and blamed me -- even going as far as to gaslight my mental health concerns. The entire interaction was unprofessional, careless, and unacceptable. I will be reporting this provider to the medical board. No one seeking mental health care should be treated this way.

The tools and techniques I learned in her class gave me the confidence and calm I needed--and I used them again when I gave birth to my second child in June 2023. Both births were completely unmedicated, peaceful, and empowering. I wasn't afraid--I actually enjoyed the experience. Alisha is incredibly warm, kind, and grounded. Her presence alone is calming, and she was always able to soothe any fears or anxieties I had. I even called her while in labor, and she guided me through breathing techniques that helped me stay centered. With my first, I arrived at the hospital already 9 centimeters dilated after laboring at home most of the day. It was a beautiful experience. My husband took the class with me, which was so helpful. He knew exactly how to support me and understood the birth experience I envisioned. Because I had such a positive experience, I even reached out to Alisha while my sister was in labor. Although my sister hadn't taken the course, Alisha generously offered to speak with her and provided much-needed reassurance during a stressful time. To this day, I still use the calming techniques I learned, and I'm teaching my children the importance of mindfulness and meditation. Alisha's guidance has truly had a lasting impact on me and my family.
