Erica: Talented. Catty. I came for a Bible verse tattoo and a secondary tattoo I wasn't set on. After some back-and-forth, she refused to do my Bible verse tattoo and encourage me to do my secondary tattoo which I chose to be a sword. She refused to do my lettering because she said it was too small, but as you can see by the tattoo in my arm, she can easily draw small lettering. So that was odd. Then, when it came to the placement of the tattoo, because of the location on my shoulder, the tattoo was not straight. She actually yelled at me because I wasn't satisfied when the stencil went on my arm. The other guy stepped in and he was able to correct the issue by using a ruler and measuring the distance from my existing tattoo to get the evenly spaced apart tattoos. This was odd. Once the placement was good to go, the tattoo experience was good. Due to the customer service skills of the other guy in the shop, I asked Erika to give me his info so I can have him do my Bible verse tattoo. I sent him a message on Instagram, but he ignored me and hasn't responded. I would not recommend the shop. A tattoo is a permanent piece of art on your body, for the most part. If someone yells at you because you're not happy with the tattoo or the placement of it, it is simply bad customer service. I paid her above asking, a good tip and also paid her $100 because I missed a previous appointment. Time is valuable. I anticipate Erica will grow her patience and customer service skills. She will be the complete package when this happens. But if all you care about is an extremely talented artist and tattoo professional, then Erika is your person. read more

My second time at Evolution Tattoo. Again, awesome place! Noli worked his artist magic again. The detail and clean lines are just beautiful. This piece could save my life someday. I ride motorcycles and have always worried about being in an accident and given too much morphine. Although this is the rod of Caduceus not Asclepius, I love it. The US Army Medical Corps adopted the Caduceus as its insignia in 1902. Despite criticism, many healthcare organizations in the US still use it and many allergy bracelets feature the Caduceus. There are no emergency medical personnel that wouldn't interpret this as "Do not administer Morphine." read more

I've gotten several tattoos done at this location and have never been disappointed. The staff is always very kind and welcoming, giving the shop I very kind and laid back vibe. I've known Cameron for many years and it's been amazing to see how much his work has grown! He takes a lot of pride in his work and it truly shows. I have 5 tattoos done by him and do plan on getting more! We are currently working on my sleeve on my right arm and I'm excited to keep it going. He is very respectful and thoughtful and takes the time to understand what his client is wanting and always willing to work with you. I spent a couple of weeks looking for an artist I felt that I would be comfortable with and ended up finding my friend's review at the top of the list for this place so I knew it was a sign to go here. I contacted Noli about my idea and design and he was extremely helpful before even knowing it was my first tattoo. He designed my idea and made it even better than I imagined. Noli talked about placement with me prior to booking an appointment after I told him I plan on getting other small tattoos later on. Scheduling took a little bit of time but it's understandable because of how busy tattoo artists are and even then he was able to squeeze me in within only a few days. Going to the actual studio, the other artists were very accommodating, offering me snacks and water while I waited and even pulling up an extra seat for me since other people were waiting in the area. Noli made the entire experience really comfortable, changing the size of the stencil based on what I asked for, and letting me choose anything to watch while I would be getting the tattoo. It took about an hour to a little over an hour to finish my tattoo. Overall, the experience was very nice and I was right to think that Noli was the right artist for me for my first tattoo. My wife and I went in there for a simple tattoo with just an idea on what we wanted, He went above and beyond and had ideas for us and did better than what we expected, from just a simple outline tattoo of a shark to a full detail shaded one. Just got done with my second session by the wonderful and PATIENT, Noli! The studio is extremely clean, bright and spacious, and the staff are very friendly. There is a tv with all streaming apps in Noli's room, so you can watch away whilst you get your ink! Noli designed a tattoo for me in tribute to my late Mum. It was my first tattoo, so he really took his time and was very patient, making sure I was comfortable. He tries to minimise pain as much as possible for you and is light handed. I recently got a piece done here with Noli for what was my 2nd tattoo and it went as smooth as could be, I absolutely loved how the piece turned out.
